The OG Barbie series is what got me into watch Deligracy! It has always been my favorite Sims 4 LP, and watching Deli is what made me want to play the sims like I do now. I was around 11 when I first watched the og series, and now I'm 17 and a senior in Highschool! I am loving the new Barbie content and would LOVE a new Barbie Lp! Younger me would be so happy with the new Barbie content 😊😂😂

8 years ago?!?! you’ve always been the sims queen.
I have an 8 year old so I’ve watched every single episode of this new Barbie (multiple times because you know kids can’t watch something just once) and I absolutely love it. Barbie is 16 and seems so much more real and down to earth than the 80's/90’s versions of her.
For those of you that are curious in watching, this generation of Barbie on Netflix follows:
1. Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures
2. Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures: Go Team Roberts
3. Barbie Big City Big Dreams (This is when Brooklyn is introduced)
4. Barbie It Takes Two (Also with Malibu and Brooklyn)
There are also multiple spin offs with Chelsea having a birthday and Barbie Dolphin and Princess adventures, as well as Malibu and Brooklyn having two interactive choose your own adventure type shows.
Also, the Barbie RUclips channel is also great.
However, on Nexflix, they still have some of the older iterations where Barbie is not real, (she’s more doll-like than the Dreamhouse Adventures version) that’s pretty funny to watch sometimes: Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse. This one is is more like the 80’s/90’s version of Barbie.
But if you want the most current version, just check the dates: Dreamhouse Adventures is 2018.
Anyway, the house looks great, Deli. I look forward to the let’s play.
I would love to see a maximalist home with the decor to the max kit, I just know with your sense of style you would make it look so gorgeous!
I sooooo agree we need an update to the paint swatches! Some better grays, black, whites, and deep purple and greens. I want an enchanted fantasy dark nature theme.
That would be cool. I would love more pretty in pink themes, princess themes, floral themes and tropical themes. That'd be awesome! ❤️
Love the build Deli! The special craft and recording studio rooms are really detailed and fun! I also love the pastels and color choices.
I would definitely be interested in a new generation Barbie let's play where both of them pursue acting, maybe there's a special episode for each "world" (like a snow day episode were they go skiing, and a mermaid episode were they do beach conservation and become mermaids) or maybe they switch out jobs frequently like how Barbie has many different careers.aybe you could make them supersims?
It would be neat to have a new barbie challenge called "Barbie can do anything" and the goal is to master every career or become a supersim. That would be something i could get into!

I love this Barbie house! Compared to the old one you once build, this has an interior that will offend no one ♥ I'm a fan of the honeycomb wall in the bedroom. I mean, it is for Barbie. There got to be something a little bit extra somewhere and I think this is the perfect hint of extra. If this becomes a series, I'll most definitely watch it and I'll cherish it like my former and smaller barbie enthusiast self would have.
Just wanted to say in regards to the mint green, it's actually opposite the 'Barbie' pink on the colour wheel, that's why they look so good together. I'm doing a lot of builds with teal and orange right now, and they're also opposites on the colour wheel. Lovely build btw!

This house is adorable, and you can just tell how much time and effort went into it! Would honestly love a mini series on your version of Barbie in the Sims!
Gorgeous build. I actually love the honeycomb wallpaper in the bedroom. I think the touch of bright colors works well for the young, creative art school Barbies from the new series. I might also be biased because I’m obsessed with that wallpaper right now.

I honestly think kits have gotten better, I personally don’t mind them and people need to understand console players use them because they don’t have the option to use cc or anything, altho I stopped using cc and stuff years ago, but now we will be able to safely download them soon, looking forward to that, love this build and the new Barbie’s are amazing 🤩
your barbie and twins lps were what got me interested in sims and eventually buying it, this is giving me such throwback. I have watched all of the episodes from the beginning to the end. Thank you for introducing me to the sims through your lps❤️

Deli you should have a architecture/ interior designer series where in the comments we all pretend we’re clients and once a week you choose 1 or 2 of us to take as “clients” to build our dream home we describe! We can even give you a budget, ect! Idk it’s a idea I had while watching this!

Best show ever!!! I actually downloaded a Wisteria Lane replica world for The Sims 3 and have been thinking about doing like a “next generation” type thing in TS3. But I may try to recreate the characters from the show as well, I’m not quite sure yet. I love that show so much!! What season are you on?

@@jacobbjake I will try to find the Wisteria Lane download for you if you want it, but I think I’m going to create some sims now to start doing that! Season 2 is a great one, but honestly they’re all great!
I like this a lot. It fits the realistic look while being functional for the sims and tying into the Barbie style. The difference in color is refreshing so it doesn’t look like pink everywhere.

This build looks absolutely amazing!!!! You made all the colours work so well and the items you picked were perfect, I personally love the honeycomb wallpaper in the bedroom! I haven't seen it takes two yet but I have seen dreamhouse adventures and dreamhouse adventures go team roberts and its weird seeing barbies family house with only two bedrooms 😅 If you haven't seen either of the other shows you should because they're really good, its the first time they showed barbie's parents.
I love the honeycomb wall so much!! It ties in all the colours of the room nicely and I generally love the pattern too, I think it helps bring in the more modern day barbie look and feel. You did a great job imo
I would love to see a Barbie Let's Play where Brooklyn and Malibu actually go through high-school but have their own recordings on the side and they become super famous and rich maybe dabble into acting singing all that fun stuff! Maybe even add Ken and the new guy. Maybe some love interest for our ladies...😉👀

They actually do have cars in the sims. If you go to the gallery, look up “debug car” then you will find some

If you did do a series, I think it would be cool if both Barbies had a balcony instead of just og Barbie. I doubt this happens irl, but a fun movie trope I remember being obsessed with as a kid was people who lived in the city visiting each other by jumping onto each other's balconies or windows via fire escape. We don't have that in Sims 4, but the Barbies could have a shared balcony. 🤷🏽 Maybe they could have lounge chairs, yoga mats, or a chess table on the shared balcony to encourage them to interact with each other.

I’d love to see a CC version of a Barbie house!
For repeat paintings, it’s difficult to manage in the sims 4, just because the number of painting options are so limited. I want to have a wall decoration/painting centered kit since we can’t seem to get the stuff packs anymore. I’m bummed about that because the last stuff pack was amazing and you got some really great content. Truthfully, the last few stuff packs were great. It shouldn’t be surprising that because they were starting to nail that down, they abandon stuff packs and do kits instead. But yeah, our paintings and wall decor are super limited, so I hope that we get more of those options in the future. The No CC gallery art feature is a life saver if you remember to use that and helps with not repeating paintings.
I love the pink and aqua sunken lounge. Totally not joking, I would love for my living room to look like that! I have pink pillows and ottomans, but I'd love to commit even further to the bright colors! 🌞

I love so much that the actual new barbie dream house doll house has a ramp and lift that fits the barbie wheelchair. The diversity that barbie has embraced warms my heart, I wish there were dolls like that when I was a kid. I would have wanted them as diverse as possible, cos that's the world.

I found this out on i think syd mac's channel, but you can put the curtain rod at a random spot on the window (not connected like with the yellow box) and raise it up and that usually works rather than moving or deleting the window! But also I really don't like moving or deleting the windows I'm always bothered by it, so hopefully they figure out how to fix that soon!
Hey, Deli! I know *exactly* why you're having trouble: if a Sim family or lot has any CC at all, it won't appear since there's no way to turn on the ability to see uploads with CC on the gallery website. It's incredibly frustrating because it does this even if you didn't consciously include CC and it drove me nuts trying to figure out what did it even when I was avoiding build/buy CC. I believe texture and other CC overrides are the main culprit; things like the occluder for removing those dark shadows from cabinets and the fridge and shaders might count as well. Even if you don't add any other CC, having stuff like that flags the build and makes it literally impossible to find on the website. Eye/skin default detail overrides do this on Sims too so if you couldn't find a family before, that'd be the most likely reason. Custom sliders might count as well. I hope this helps.
The perfect thing about Barbie was she was powered by imagination, so could be whatever you desired. I grew up with Barbie, and there was not really any pink in her wardrobe or accessories at all! My very first Barbie had stiff legs. Of course, I was born in 1959, so things always change. Love your interpretation of Malibu, Brooklyn, and the new Barbie house. Now, on to the LP!
the color schemes are so nice, it really highlights how diverse you can build in the sims4

Love this build - the furnishings are so cute! Love the pastel theme versus the all pink theme! Also- I really enjoy speed builds! I think it allows for you to focus on building but then it allows you to focus more on commentary as well! Would love to see maybe a mix of speed builds and real time builds in the future 👀
