My ultimate stare home is one that still looks cute. I always think that starter homes look boring, but this starter house is definitely cute
I wish they had a option to sort the items from cheepest to the most expensive.
If you go into specific items like TVs or chairs, they are sorted cheapest to most expensive.
They have that option
Love that this starter home doesn't feel so basic. I appreciate the wise use of money and that it can be tweeked to fit the Sims you have! Definitely appreciate another Sims build from you. I'm hoping for more Barbie or more base renovations again!🤞

They’ll scoot over if you assign them the side of the best furthest from them!
The Sims team should have you build all their starter homes! This looks great Deli… I really love the color scheme; the oranges and yellows look wonderful. I think I might have put a couple of more personal items in the bedrooms but other than that it’s perfect. Have a great day! ❤❤

Because you went in live-mode some item's, like the fridge and counters etc, you got less money back when you sold it again. So technically you got more money.
This is gorgeous! I think that with Eco Lifestyle, University (for showers) or Snowy Escape, and Dreamhome Decorator, you can build a really cute starter home!

When I started playing the Sims (a whiiiiiile ago) I would mainly focus on let’s play rather than building… but after a few years of watching your videos, I started really enjoying building… i used to HATE it- so thank you for inspiring me (and for being so genuine and nice) ❤️❤️❤️

I'm a gameplay kind of simmer, so my ultimate starter home would be more practical than nice-looking. I'd focus on getting hobby items such as musical instruments, a treadmill or a yoga mat. But rugs are a must - they really can turn sad space into cosy one.
My starter homes always end up being bedsits with valuable skillbuilding items and live-draggable camping furniture that I try to make look as cute as possible. They might have to drag the couch away to have room for their bed, but they will get a potted plant somewhere.
I love this build! I have never done a starter game with 8 Sims but I am tempted to do so with this house 😍😍

Same! There isn’t a save I’ve started in which I haven’t used that pack (both the build buy and the gameplay). It’s great!
I can’t wait to have this in my game 😍 I think I’ll try and do starters this way too I never thought of building them our room by room instead of trying to fit it all in a shell first
I love the one bedroom as well with the orange curtains. My sister once had a tiny kitchen with white cupboards and appliances. We painted the bit off wall around it this orange color. It looked just as amazing!

Before this most recent update my sim was able to move over in the bed again. I haven’t tested it again since, but hopefully we still can!
Yay! These are my fav videos to watch. I spend most of my Sims time making starter micro homes. Eco lifestyle and tiny living work really well together
I’m able to put a double bed against the wall now, I couldn’t before!
I would go up and get more space for the garden. Essential in my builds! No home without a garden!

Partial joking aside, when I'm building myself a starter house I usually focus on whatever skill items their job is going to need so they can get promoted (or just start making money, if a freelancer etc) asap. After that, I try to manage some nicer items where it really matters, like better beds. I am of course always happier if the house can manage to look nice, but focusing on functionality first means I can get the household financially set faster so I can build and decorate without a tiny starter budget.

OMG SO LAST NIGHT - I was literally trying to find a home for my 7 sims and settled on one I had to play around with to achieve this and suddenly I get a notification that says Deligracy uploaded starter home for 8 sims and I was like WHAT lmao so here we are..

For ME the ultimate starter home looks cute and full and is a tier 2 tiny home. After experiencing how quickly toddlers gain skills there, I can never go back.

It looks really good you put everything in there that needed to be in there and it's all color coordinated and it looks really nice.
I like my starter homes to have items that Sims will use/need, and preferably it's decent looking. But I feel like any personalizing would be done after the Sims move in anyway, so I don't mind if it's basic. But I always add the standard things like bookshelf, computer, and some skill-building and/or specific entertainment items. When I build a generic starter home I usually do at least two bedrooms, so it fits three or four Sims. That way people can use it as is, or change one of the bedrooms to a different kind of room if they don't need two bedrooms, or maybe even add double bunk beds so it fits six Sims! But I think the 'ideal' starter home doesn't exist, everybody wants different things, and everyone has different play styles. So I usually create a specific scenario in my mind for the family moving in, and then create a house that suits that, and I'll add the scenario in the description box.

I haven’t been able to get the sims scooting across the bed and for woohoo forget about it if the bed is against the wall. BUT this is a super cute starter home! I love 8 sims starter homes and I was surprised how spacious it is! I’m doing the 100 baby challenge but I play in a tiny home, but when the kids move out I like to place them in cute home to live with the rest of their siblings 😂

Super Cute Deli. Its easier tho to make starter homes when u have all the packs, When I tried to do a base game starter for only 2 sims lol it ended up being almost 70,000 cuz i wanted it to look nice

I wonder if you go into build mode and build your house first. Then put your sim in it for cheap and using FreeRealEstate on. That’s what I did. I didn’t spend any money. 😊

My ultimate starter home is designed for the typical nuclear family (4 sims, with 2-3 bedrooms 2 bath) with a little landscaping in the front

my perfect Sims starter home is 2 beds 1 bath and a skill building room/area depending on their jobs.
I think the ultimate starter home holds 8 sims and has everything they need plus a computer and a few skill building items; like painting and gardening. Things they can use to make money and get ahead.
It seems quite spacious. Having it all on one floor definitely saves money on stairs and extra walls. If you did the tutorial when making your 8 sims then you would have had the extra $5k for bills and future enhancements.
My ideal starter home would be for me and 7 dogs 🐶

I have a video suggestion. Building a house for an estranged couple whose relationship has not recovered since their child passed away. They sleep in separate bedrooms and have like a shrine to their child in they old bedroom.
