The Sims needs to add a "Gut lot" option to the Bulldoze options. That would delete all the furnishings but leave the wallpapers and floors, like you've gutted a house for renovations! Would for sure save time deleting everything.

Awesome idea! I think something like this wouldn't be too difficult since this is already an option when moving a household into an existing lot either furnished or unfurnished (=gutted). The Sims team would just need to add this feature into the regular b&b bulldozing menu as well.

I think they already do, when you go to a new lot (a residential) your sim has the option to get it furnished, unfurnished, or bulldozed.

@@Lextricityy I actually don't mind them as much in Willow Creek! It's based on New Orleans and if you look at the backdrop it actually includes palm trees and such so it's really not THAT out of place in WC
In my mind thats the sign that your sim is absolutely loaded....if you can live in Mt Komorebi and maintain a tropical garden you are super rich!
I’m from Wisconsin and I noticed the plants too! Haha I feel like the sims doesn’t have great options for the beautiful plants actually in our area.
I really like that not matching bricks too! Really brings out that renovated feel.
This is a fun build! It reminds me of co-ops in the San Francisco Bay Area. A bunch of people share a space, like a converted building, and take care of each other like a little community. They grow their own food and usually make art.
I started watching deli when I was 11 because my parents wouldn’t let me get the sims until I was 12. Now I’m nearly 17 and still watching 👍 fav RUclipsr I swear

That’s so cute, I haven’t played sims in YEARS (maybe 10) but I’ve watched Deli, Jessie, Kayla and James for ages. Recently got TS4 and am just getting to grips with it again, but I love watching these kinds of videos maybe more than playing myself 😂

I think I prefer smaller face cams for build videos. I learn a lot from watching you and other Simmers build and even occasionally copy what you do, so for me it’s nice to see as much of the lot as possible. :)
Also wished we could build apartments. I wanted to play 2 storylines at the same time but not in the same household!
my first deli video is when I start playing Sims 3 in high school, on my 16th birthday, and it's my first great build because I learned from the deli's box starter home. now I'm almost 26 so it's been about 10 years of watching deli videos and I'm never bored ever 🥳👏🥰

I’ve actually stayed in an Airbnb in a desert that had rooms that were open to the roof! It was very cool and makes it easy to talk to anyone in the house
I would love it if they enabled us to make usable apartments! I love making them & duplexes and have in my game. Typically I use it for extended families & roommates currently.

To answer the question about building apartments, it was definitely possible in TS3 - I used to do it all the time, albeit with some cheats being used in game for the "unused room" markers.
I started looking more into the industrial architecture because of you and I've never realised how much I love it!! Bricks, exposed pipes etc, metal elements... I adore them all!!
I like the idea of my maim game family, who's got some money now, moving to moonwood mill and "donating" money to the library for renovation (so I can make it look new over time)

Our neighbours recently took out a balcony door and replaced it with window. At first you could see the difference in bricks and grouts super well, but now about 2/3 months later you can't tell.
I love love LOVE your style Deli, I can watch your build videos all day every day. They are so inspiring and you make it all seem so effortless.

That yellow staircase kept bugging me and making me think it was being destroyed. It is sooo yellow and it reminds me of the sledgehammer
😅 I renovated the library too but kept it a library/community building as the world really needs it. I pretended that the town got a big grant or donation. Because I considered it a historical building I refused to do any major shape changes... though I did allow for some window & door changes since it would he hard to duplicate them. It's still a library but updated more into a community center. I too filled in the sewer but the weather is so bad I pretended to fill it into an elongated fishing pond.
Oh... I forgot... since the mystetious, anonymous donor.... only known as JT 😉 .... was once a space explorer, he also donated his collection of Batuu items which are highlighted in the upstairs gallary/game room.
