I love seeing cc. But honestly Deli, just make the game fun for you. You’ve been doing a hell of a lot lately with managing work and lockdowns and moving and etc. if you want to use cc, by all means please use it. And take care. ❤️
Yeah I agree, she puts so much pressure on herself to make sure to make everyone happy. But she needs to look in to what makes her happy and just do that. I know it’s hard specially when this is your job but at the end it’s her life and her happiness.

Deli I appreciate you being thoughtful about those who do and dont like CC, but there are a TON of creators who do not use CC and only a few who just use maxis match CC. I feel like that is your niche and part of what draws folks (like me!) to your channel. So use what you want!
I come to your channel because *literally everyone else* does no CC builds. The game has been out for years and years - we know the items by now. We’ve seen them all exhausted thousands of times. CC is so fun. Please keep using it!
you can appreciate the beauty and such of deli’s builds without putting down people who decide not to use it. (; because quite honestly i’m still seeing builds that are cc free that impress me to this day.
@@haleey115 they impress me too! Never putting down any other creators. This is a comment to Deli about how her content is unique and enjoyable to subscribers like myself because of the CC use. It’s awesome. CC creators are rarely ever recognized otherwise. To each their own with CC use, but on a channel that uses it but is hesitant to use it all the time, it’s worth the reassurance that CC is exactly what we want
Love your builds using custom content because I most of it in my game, so you show me new ways to use it! Definitely keep using cc!

I think doing a mixture of CC and Maxis content is great. I hate when creators only focus on CC because I play on console so CC isn’t available. But a mixture is fine. We can still get inspiration from CC even if we can’t use it. ❤️

Usually these apartments feel unnecessarily big even for several sims, but how you furnished it makes it really work, even just for one sim! Also I'm a big cc advocate but honestly just play however you feel like playing, that way you will have the most fun and then we have the most fun watching
LOVE this! I think the walk-in wardrobe is my favorite part. Reminds me a bit of this ridiculously expensive NY penthouse that I'm obsessed with. I looked it up again on Zillow, and it sold! I told my best friend, "I can't BELIEVE they sold my $35million penthouse. They KNEW I was saving for that!" He was like, "They'll hear from our public defender about this!" Lmao
As a console player, I love getting to see you use cc that I don’t have access to. I can also tell it’s more fun for you that way, so I’m team cc lol!
I also have an idea for a challenge: use a random number generator to determine the year of your build. Every room is a different year!
Actually … we do have two dining places in my home. It’s kinda of a thing with like Dutch old farmer houses. You have a tiny table stuffed in the kitchen and then a nice dining table in the livingroom for when you have people over

I’m all aboard the CC train 👌🏻 I feel like we’ve exhausted all the base games furniture and CC furniture is the only thing that inspires me to keep building
If you're disappointed with the base game furniture, go buy the packs. I can't excuse not having every pack (except not having Journey to Batu, because that pack wasn't good, but I still bought it because I'm NOT poor.) Don't say, you can't afford it, because you can afford it if you stop being poor.
@@stijn1203 I own every single pack tbh but when you build a lot etc then I feel like it gets boring real fast. I’ve done everything from family homes, jungle adventure themed, space stations, haunted mansions etc. CC just adds a fresh breath of air to the game

There’s no way to stop “being poor” though. Sometimes you can’t change your finances or situation and have to roll with what you’ve got. People shouldn’t be excluded from a thing they enjoy just because they can’t justify spending about $950 on all the packs. If EA lost that big of a part of their fan base then I sincerely doubt they’d be in that much of a hurry to add new content. Just food for thought before you come at people for being poor. 99% of the time it’s literally not their fault or easily fixable.

I LOVE how extra this is. I never download builds because I enjoy building my own and because I don't own any packs. I just love to see what people do and get inspiration. I really wish more creators would use CC like you do - you have turned me on to so many great CC packs to download! Very appreciated for someone who can't afford packs but loves to build!
CC is great, and a lot of it is surpassing the quality of Maxis. Any CC creator who puts that kind of effort and detail into something to add more life to my game I am grateful for.

I respect all CC players and I love it when you are happy building. You already spoiled us with so many No-CC builds. I'm on the No-CC team I just love it vanilla but it's totally fine for me when you do a CC build too. Just watching your work made day better! It's so calm and this loft is really cute. Your build always my fav Deli!
I know there is a mod for a living business, so it would be cool to see a store at the bottom and a nice penthouse apartment on top. Or a gallery with a studio apartment on top. Now that we are getting the official rags to riches challenge in the game, that could be something to work towards buying for your sim.

Honestly I feel like any creator benefits the most from doing what THEY want to do. You’re considerate for asking your audience, but I think a lot of us just enjoy you doing your thing and having fun with it! It’s kind of obvious when creators only do certain things to appease the audience and in my opinion usually not my favorite videos
I just redid this apartment too. It threw me off for a little bit, trying to get a staircase and the super open floor plan, but I got there in the end and it turned out pretty good!
I love the cc and you using it gives exposure to the artists that make them. As long as you’re having a good time and are happy your viewers will follow suit.
having two dining rooms is really common in northeastern america! especially cuz a lot of homes are older when they were built people would have two dining spaces one for family meals and another for parties and such!
I feel like you’re the non-speed builder I enjoy watching the most. You always do such a good job and it always looks so realistic with the cc you choose.💕

Love the build, and love the custom content. In the builds i have been in there would be electric curtains that would go from top to bottom
I love that you build with cc. Most simmers don't and it's a bummer since I use a lot of cc. It's always amazing to see you build such incredible builds with the same cc that I have, and then I can be inspired and use that cc in new creative ways in my builds :)
I love these apartments videos! One way to share it would be to make a save file. If you’re keen I’d love to see your New Crest save maybe expanded with the city living word? You might have a list in your website with the links to the cc you have so you don’t have to use ingame only items
Girl you use that CC, the pieces you choose to use are so beautiful and, most importantly, you play the game for you, your subscribers will watch regardless. Also fabric anything (not just sofas) are impractical when you have a toddler... and a husband HA.

I don’t use cc but I genuinely enjoy watching people use it. I’ve never had an issue watching people use it.
For wardrobes, I've personally started using the long kitchen cupboard pieces.
They are thin but can create the look of large/copious amounts of wardrobe storage against one wall or something like that.
For the penthouses you can just upload them to the gallery as a house on another lot. :)
the urge to download this apartment is so reallllll. 10/10 would download every cc you just used if it meant I could have this apartment for my sim
I love that you use CC because it’s free so it’s not like you’re using loads of packs that cost min. £10 each and the cc is maxis match so all the items you choose are amazing! Also it’s your build - you do you 😅
The before apartment was stunning, and I don't recall ever seeing it in-game, but Deli's glam loft? Sign me TF up!

Deli I think you should keep on going the cc route and you should even dive deeper! We love seeing new and underrated cc creators from you! Plus, you are pretty much using lots of packs in all your builds anyways so I see no need to hold back on the cc! Take care and I wish you, James and Bowser a smooth move!
To me this apartment screams Barbie’s let’s play! I imagine this would be Diamond’s first apartment. I’ve been watching our for a while and that let’s play is probably my favorite! With all the CC I think it can be a great idea to create a new and very modern Barbie’s house!

i love when creators use cc because i always have trouble deciding which cc to download so it’s nice to see it in action and to see if i like it or not
We have a round table at the kitchen where we always eat and the "formal" dinning when we have bdays, xmas or new year etc.. :)

I happen to work for a general contractor and build high rise apartments for a living, so I can answer your questions about the curtains in a double window wall system like that. What we use is a motorized roller shade that is controlled by a switch on the wall. If rolled up, it sits just above the top of the window, and it rolls all the way down to the ground. They're really fancy! In our apartment units that are single story window heights the shades aren't usually motorized but have a metal chain and pulley system to roll them up in down.
as someone who only builds in the sims (no gameplay or cas) I wish I had known about cc more before I bought so many packs. Creators have so many more options so I can design the sims houses of my dreams!
I just recently got rid of all my CC and mods so I love watching you use CC. Honestly, if you could do an updated CC haul I'D LOVE THAT!

I agree with other comments that it’s fun to watch you use CC because I think you are so creative with it and have such a cool style. for me another reason is that my computer can’t run so much CC and I don’t love to build as much because it takes me a long time so watching you use whatever you want and follow your building instincts is really nice
Breakfast nooks are very common in America. They’re a small space off of the kitchen with a small table and then we have a formal dinning room.
I'm so going to steal that floor plan. Like, I just love it!
Deli I love your vids and building but my one pet peeve is how you do rugs! If you want it to look put together living room rugs need to go under the front legs of the furniture and dining room rugs need to be big enough that you can pull chairs out and have them still be on the rug! Just a tip, especially for big beautiful places like this!!!
I don't use CC and hardly ever watch videos with CC, but a mix of CC and no CC videos on your channel would be fine with me. A bit of everything for everyone. But in the end you should do what makes YOU happy and feel inspired! The apartment looks gorgeous and I could at least use the amazing floorplan. :)

Deli, I think bottom line the game should be fun for you! i personally don't play with cc and watch build videos for inspiration, so i prefer the maxis content but thats just me. i think it could be interesting to have a mix of maxis/cc content throughout a build, but each room be either cc or maxis, that way i think most people can find it interesting and inspiring.

Hey Deli, just an idea, but for those tall windows I like to use the base game roll up shade on the top floor window & just pretend its a remote control shade that reaches to the floor when fully extended lol.

the thing with cc is that no one has exactly the same cc. I personally enjoy watching video's because it gives me inspiration of what i can build in my own build, but that isn't possible if the cc isn't in my game.
I love the cc - but I love when creators use whatever they want to because that’s what makes the game unique and fun to watch! I understand wanting to be conscious of people who don’t have the same access to cc as you but if it limits your creativity and joy then be freeeee! Also we did have two dining areas growing up in upstate NY, one informal in the kitchen for regular meals and then we had a formal dining room with a big table and China hutch that we only ever used for holidays.

BUT keep in mind, when you do get these complaints from people, its probably from people who want to use your builds but can't because they don't use CC OR they play console and they simply don't have access to CC to then use your builds.
Unfortunately, people are going to always complain but it all comes down to what makes YOU happy.

Love the CC builds! I get that it excludes people who chose to buy the game on console but for those who chose PC and can’t necessarily afford all the packs it’s so great! Also, if you keep to just game content people who don’t have all the packs won’t have a complete build anyway.
To me, if I download something from the gallery I likely won’t have everything in the build. I just make a renovation part of my gameplay.

For the curtains, a lot of folks have electric shutters, curtains and blinds. They’re operated by wall consoles and/or apps! They are typically very customizable in terms of how they open (sometimes allowing for the lowest level to be covered, and the top part to be open for light) they are very heavy, and very pricey! Think, like, almost Tony Stark stuff.
Oh, and from what I’ve noticed, they do have plants, but the kind that can be consumed. Otherwise, the lawn artist maintains the outdoors sections.

In my old house we had a 2 dining eara's one for the household and one where would eat when we got guests.
I think it would be SOOOOOO COOOOLLLL if you did a remake of your BARBIE Lets Play with all the updated packs and things we have now, Her mansion would be insane!!
You should make a series with like an heiress to a HUGE fortune and as you said she's studying fashion design to start her own fashion label and her mom and dad are super snobby but she's not and they die pretty early into the let's play. I think it would be a really nice lp
