I never use any of the base game family homes I want my sims to struggle in the beginning sleeping on the bench and stealing food😂 and then eventually I just build them their own house
I redid this house in my game too. I took the one bedroom and turned half of it into a kitchen, the other half into a laundry area. Then I made the whole back bedroom into two rooms. I created a side yard too and put a back door in the laundry room
Watching your videos always makes me want to build something, but I haven't really played a Sims game other than the gamecube version. But I'm finally learning the Sims 4! Floor plans are so much harder than you make them seem! AAAH
I always fix these houses too, my main issue being that they are shotgun style houses, which means that if you fire a shotgun from the front door, it should go straight out the back door. It bothers me to no end that EA did not do that. That’s why the front doors on this style of house are usually to one side or the other.

I will always love that sad rectangle but it's so annoying how much they could have done but did nothing better than putting few furniture's randomly lol 🤣🤣🤣
I want Kayla to do a video where she tries to landscape using ONLY desert plants. Succulents, cacti, rocks, very sparse flowers and no trees. I never use any of the base game family homes I want my sims to struggle in the beginning sleeping on the bench and stealing food😂 and then eventually I just build them their own house
if only that's how it worked irl :P
Finally bought the full game and you’ve inspired me to do so many builds !
This is making me want to see the Feng Shui dude play the Sims
I feel like Snap is feeling a bit jelly cause Dan is there full time now 🥺
I redid this house in my game too.
It makes me so happy to see you work with St. Jude's. Thank you so much for your time and energy for such an amazing cause! I want to hug you if I ever meet you! Much love to you and yours!!!
As much as i love seeing her in the videos Snap might be trying to tell you something, if you can give her a quick health check :) (I say this from my own scary experience, my doggie was extra needy and we found out she had a UTI for almost 2 months!)
There's nothing sadder than that one starter home in oasis springs that has no lights at all 😭😭
These are my favorite types of videos! This was soooo satisfying to watch
When is there no content more to do, we always come back to this exact point, renovating this house.
I always take the houses in this neighborhood and make them tiny houses.
I always watch her rebuilds laughing, because our priorities are SO different! When I renovate houses I never put computers. I use that money towards decor. So I’m always yelling at my screen “You don’t need the computer, Kayla!!!!” 🤣🤣
I love changing up base game houses. I also try to keep costs down, but I've never tried to challenge myself with a budget. I think I will now, this looked like it was a lot of fun.
The ability to delete the wall from stairs is an absolute game changer
I started watching you a couple of years ago, and then I sort of forgot about you 😭. I finally found you again and I'm addicted to you once again!
Once again, RUclips attempts to force the algorithm by "accidentally" unsubscribing me from a channel. I know I was subscribed to this excellent content creator, and yet I don't remember EVER unsubscribing. So, as of now, I am resubscribed.
BRO, i just started playing sims a few days ago (cuz yk..it's free) and i started watching your videos. I LOVE THEM. YOU ARE JUST SO COOL !!
I can never unsee it now that you pointed out in a former video that the tv floats on this table you used.
Before I really got into the whole ride of cheats, that was my go-to house and build from there. Now I just build the house I want and motherlode my sims into it. This video really gave me the urge to renovate every house (within sims budget) and save them for new games.
I get so interested in someone playing video games. I play sims too on ps4. And I dont know how to glitch lol I'm happy I subscribed to you few weeks ago. You do such great content 👀
Thank you for the pro tips!! I will be using the quarter tile placement in my next build!
Aaaaw that's my legacy house! I called it "the sad yellow rectangle" after i could fix it a little when i got few simleons and made it yellow cause the color scheme was so sad, but I still not understand why they made a sad rectangle. It had so potential but they decided to go easy and play geometry when they could have made a tiny cute house.
That could even be a theme inside the house too, where all plants used must be succulents or cacti. That would be very fun to watch her trying to get out of her comfort zone!
I love this thank you!!! I get so stressed out about improving my base homes but you made it look so easy and cheap! Can't wait to give it a try thank yooouu
it’s so weird to me that some homes in the sims don’t have ceiling lights bc where i come from every room has to have one
I miss playing the sims. I’ve played it the iPad but it’s not the same😢. So now I’m so tempted in getting a Apple laptop 😏.
I was watching a video (of yours probably?) and it was mentioned that Willow Creek is supposed to be New Orleans-esque and I laughed out loud as someone who currently lives there.
Build your own New Orleans inspired neighborhood, it’s really a blast. Few cities embrace color and personal style like down here
???
I know next to nothing about New Orleans style and my only reference is Mardi Gras and the Princess and the Frog Disney movie but even I know THATS not New Orleans lmao
Probably more like…. Near country midwestern?
@@Hexer404 lol right? But they have a neighborhood called Crawdad Quarter. If they just didn’t name it that maybe they could have had some level of plausible deniability
Yess I need some new houses like these
This is exactly what I didn’t this week, renovating this builds! Outcome is great
I LOVE the updated version of that house. I am so excited to download it. You really do amazing builds and renovations. Thank you Kayla AKA lilsimsie 🤗🥰🤗
Kayla this build is SO CUTE!! I want to play in it now!
New build challenge idea: Simsie does any challenge without throwing out the rules after 8 minutes LOL
Whenever I renovate this lot, for some reason I gotta make that house bright yellow with white trim 😭😭 something about that bright yellow with a cute porch and flowers just speaks to me, it’s a trendy bright grandma house in my mind
omg this kind of video is soooo cool! i love the final result 💖
Honestly i feel like they were built to be renovated. Like i hate building houses from scratch but im great at renovation
Ok, now do it AGAIN but this time with no budget. I want to see this same house decked out! :)
I ALWAYS completely renovate and decorate all the premade houses to my liking, or download awesome ones from the gallery and do the same. Build mode is the best.
SO glad I stumbled upon this video as I just started a new Sim in this house a few days ago! X
I love your videos!!!!
Keep doing these!
hi lilsiemsie i have a video idea:You can only built a house with the swatches that you don't use.Canwe like it up that she sees it? lyg
The base houses Their kinda ..... tasteless...for a game ..but !! This is a ideal House
