I've had a sim go to the hospital to have a baby, I'll have the partner tag along, and then for literally no reason, they left. So yeah, I had to make them come back because it's rude to let your partner being alone like that.
Just beware if you use autosolve with a cowplant on your lot, that the Sims will eat the cowplant cake if it's available.
The trashcan and randomization… Gave me life. Been playing for more than a year and had no clue. Great tips!

Well one trick I found is that you should almost always do the painting aspiration first before getting into writing. This way you can write any emotional books regardless of your sim's emotion, which is perfect if you want your sim to be a romance writer if that what floats your story.
The wabbit tablet actually does have bunny ears on it. If you look up the freezer bunny its moddled after that :) and it even has its feets-ies very cute, just wish it had more swatches.
@Raven October, I agree fully. I only really use the blue and pink swatches on the tablet as they match the current state of the room my toddlers stay in. I also wish along with new swatches that they created one for children so they can gain their skills faster and complete aspirations. It could cost the same as the wabbit tablet, but called the wabbit childrens tablet.

heres my Tip, when creating a Sim, Pick an aspiration you want just for its bonus you can change it later, so for me i go for knowledge and if you look above the aspiration in the small bubble it shows that knowledge sims gain all Skills faster, after you make your sim in game just swap your aspirations to what you actually want but you keep the bonus trait
Easy money: Gardening and mass selling high end plants, Handiness is amazing for the skill and it sells, Painting is amazing as well
Easy mode: Fun fact im pretty sure if you got seasons you can buy a Money tree for some aspiration points, now slap it down and grow it up, If you get level 3 i do believe of gardening you can graft plants , Take a cutting of the money tree and Graft it on something that grows stupid fast like Garlic if you got vampires, or Roses, you get a Rose AND a Money fruit seed, plant that money fruit seed and just Have a money tree farm. RINCE REPEAT AND YOU ARE A BILLIONAIR
5000 satisfaction points to buy your first money tree.
Once grown, take a cutting from it and graft it to another plant, like a lemon tree, sage or mushrooms. You'll harvest some money tree fruits that you can plant.
Plant another plant as close to the money tree as you can. Then, have a Sim with gardening at 4 or more harvest all. He'll harvest the money fruits from the money tree. You can easily get a whole orchard of money trees.
I love that trashcan. The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t change the swatch on it
if you have access to mods, ravasheen made a couple different versions that come in wood and metal surfaces that help the trash can fit into any style.
Function over fashion in this case 🥲
I’ve seen people use move objects on to cover it with another trash can.
6:16 - Tip 21: When buying something in the computer, right click on the quantity arrow to change the number to 10 instead of 1.

A + tip about the trash bin: if you put the trash or empty plate (dog poop, pet hair pile) in, you get number of sims and pets in your household × 10 simoleon (like if you have 7 sims in the household than you get 70 simoleon). But if the sim put these in you always get 10.
One more: if you have sinks on the lot, sims will automatically wash the dishes, if you don't stop them.
Also, this bin only works on residential lots.
The other day I was my child sim and clicked on the sink (rare for me) and it said set sink type and it had bathroom or kitchen
Great info for beginners, is there a cheat to make everyone in the world needs go red?. 😂 everyone passes out, pees themselves etc at once. 🧐😂
Thank you :). Oohh i'm not sure if there's a cheat off the top of my head, but if you have the Get To Work Expansions Pack you can get the satellite dish and use it to start neighbourhood hiveminds. These can make everyone in the world have a bladder epidemic, or you can knock them all out.
I don't know if there's a cheat but you can if you join science career
Little correction: bb.moveobjects can be put straight into the cheat box without turning on testing cheats

Do you have any tips about missing ghost sims? 3 of my sims died a while ago when I wasn’t playing with them and I can’t find their urn ⚱️ or their ghost and I really want to bring them back to life without just replacing them. Got everything tips?
Oh Abby, this might not be what you want to hear but there's a chance the sim is gone. So from my understanding ghosts are tied to graves for a period of time, but if you don't interact with them the game kind of deletes them to save space (if it kept every ghost of every sim that died forever it would overload). So there's a chance your ghost has been deleted from the game if you haven't interacted with them for an extended period of time.
@@PeteyPlaysIt thanks for the info, ugh the sims! Those were some of my favorite sims, I’ll have to replace them which I was trying to avoid because they wouldn’t have the same relationships with my Sims anymore and I would have to fix a family tree and just be a whole mess😩
Check your home inventory the same happened to me and I found it there. Look for it in build mode.
I had a sim die while at work in the science career while I was at the job with them, and I didn't get to get the grave! I had to have one of my sims quit their job and join the science career for a day just to go get it! Luckily it was still there in the middle of the lab lol. I didn't realize all the things you could upgrade with the handiness skill! I will have to use it more!

@@seaweedbeach If you have the Get to Work expansion pack you can go to 3 different active careers with them. It comes with a doctor career, a scientist career, and a detective career.

I think you have the cheat codes round the wrong way. 2:50 cheating individuals or household needs you need to turn on testing cheats first but at 3:56 the building cheats (moveobjects, show hidden objects, and show live edit objects) don't need to turn on testing cheats first. Also for console players there's apparently a badge for not cheating (this is second hand info, I play on PC, so take it with a handful of salt) but you won't lose that reward for the building cheats.
I played for a year and a half before I figured out you could have up to 5 outfits for each outfit category. I complained all the time about them taking the feature away, but they didn't lol

I've played for yearrrsss. Since I was about 8. Obviously not TS4, but Sims in general. I felt like this video would be redundant, but that it may hold some details I haven't used or seen. (Which was correct) But it was funny because when I was at the parts that I was familiar with, I kept looking for the little "triple speed" fast forward arrows that are in the Sims game play lololol The lines between fantasy and reality have blurred.
I destroyed my real life electricity bill because it took so long for me to fix my sim's problems

Just saying, you don t actually have to turn on cheats to do moveobjects, so you can still get achievements in the game.

Does anyone know why one of my sims aged up twice in a row from baby to child and skipped the toddler phase?
It is stupid how I can invite another sim from anywhere to anywhere, but I can't call over a sim that is over 10 feet away. Also, I'm assuming that the gaming tables are broken. If my sims are on the first floor, but the gaming tables are on the second floor, some sims won't be able to get to the gaming table. This could also be the spatial recognition that is broken. Either way the gaming tables are another nightmare in the Sims 4. I have an awesome tip for people who don't own the Sims 4, don't buy it. It's utterly broken and Maxis can never truly get it to work properly.

How do u play a game with consequences? I like that the sims is a sandbox but I don’t like that I have to craft npc motives and actions like I’m playing dolls. :/ where’s the sabotage? The police? Etc
By the time your sim has enough skill in handines to upgrade most of the stuff, your sim is near death or no longer needs the upgrades. The only upgrades that I found was remotely useful is the upgrades that lower water and electricity costs. Otherwise, I can't be bothered with more radio and television channels, which takes a level 9 or 10 in the handiness skill. Leave it to Maxis to make everything useless or an extreme pain in the neck.
