@@kezzachadda8175when I do it I copy by highlight the text I want to use and the right click on it to bring up options, I then click copy and open the sims cheat bar. Enable cheats and then press control and V to paste. 😊
@@annemone4758 I mainly play The Sims 4 on my console, and when enabling cheats, it does say that earning trophies will be disabled, but I've still managed to earn PlayStation trophies even when the cheat is enabled. Also, if I have the household saved who I did the money cheat with, if I re-add them into a new save file, I get the achievement for earning a lot of money within that household. (I can't remember the name of the achievement.)
If you play Sims 4 on PC and aren't scared of using mods I suggest cheat extension! It basically makes it so u can use cheats without typing it out but just by hovering to the tab (money, relationships, etc+) and right clicking it

The friendship cheat is really good for when you have a vampire sim with uncontrollable hissing that their soulmate is weirded out by to the point that despite having max romance, they can’t propose…

I just don’t like adults spawning from CAS with no skills and bare minimum funds. Makes no sense. 😂😂 If I get into a second generation of a family raised in game they usually have some skills. But yeah, cheats are useful for getting the story going but then I try not to cheat.

You've been playing about as long as I have. I've had every version but I practically refuse to invest in any packs since they're always buggy at some point.
It's important to turn bb.moveobjects off before playing, otherwise your sims start putting stuff in weird places where you can't find it or they can't use an item, example: putting homework books or dishes ontop of the keyboard for a computer, then waving at you like YOU'RE the problem when you tell them to use the computer, and these items never seem to be cleaned up by maids, butlers or "load dishwasher" actions-- you have to go into build mode, move the computer, then move the dishes yourself.
This has actually saved me big time, because I was struggling with the money to builds nice rooms and the stress of actually making them work was too much😭
I just found your stream 12 days after it was posted. I had the testing cheats already but there were a few that I knew nothing about so thank you so so much for this video. I'm now subscribed so I won't miss anymore. I just started playing Sims 4 a couple of weeks before the summit broadcast so I'm still pretty new to this. Thanks again
You left out the equip trait cheats, which apart from equipping on new traits to your sims can also give them a new lifestate, even if they already have a lifestate. So essentially you can turn your sim into a hybrid with this cheat, although you might want to make backups of the saved game because it can become buggy and sometimes create certain issues with the gameplay, but its fun to experiment.

My "struggling writer" Sim, bought a Lotto ticket on his second day.... he hasn't struggled since. I mean it instantly gives you the fabulously wealthy aspiration which award you the Shrewd trait... which awards you weekly interest income based on your household worth... 1000000 simoleons... So he gets 50k a week for sitting on his ass. Which keeps going up because, like most poor people aren't understanding about rich people, they aren't sitting on their ass. He now get 77k a week from interest.
For the Sims 3, I only did it to buy the bakery in a storyline for revamping a crappy Bakery. Even after I downgraded to the dustiest, it was still expensive. So fun. You are correct though, it's rather easy.
It's probably not worth mentioning as it's already common knowledge at this point but as it was not mentioned in this video, to make the cheat text bar appear on consoles you need to press both bumpers and triggers on your controller at the same time, so for xbox, press RT, LT, RB, and LB at the same time and for playstation... i don't know the names of the buttons but it's the same trigger and bumper layout as xbox

I was never the type to play sims games, even though sims 3 was REALLY popular with my friend circle, tried sims 4 today and OH MY GOD!? I didn’t even realize that I’ve been playing it for 8 HOURS STRAIGHT!! I get the putting off of the seeming complexity of some of the cheats. But thank you for pointing them all out. I'll have to take some notes and keep them handy.
@@mindless_dbz when you type the cheat in the little Dropbox you have to go to a dresser (this worked for me) and then go to change sim. After that you click on the traits and press remove trait.

I wonder if it's possible to do something similar with the new highschool after school activities also the university organisations? I had a sim in the football one and they couldn't progress because a requirement wouldn't complete?
Ooh, I know for Uni organisations you can cheat to rank up, but there's a separate set of specific cheats. I haven't tried the football after school activity in depth yet, but it's something I want to cover so I am hoping that they fix that glitch or that there's a way to overcome it! I use move objects, because you should already be able to... I've modded sims in CAS when first meeting if there was something I just had to change. I try to stay away from free points because why try to progress anything then? However I have had aspiration completions bug where I don't get credit when I have do the task, so if I have done the task, and not gotten credit because of buggy programming, I'll push that one.
I will admit I have a wife sim in one house who.... is a bitch. She gets max relationship with her husband and then out of the blue on her own will just go into bitch mode, and start insulting him or yelling at him for no reason... she does it to her kids too. She's tempting me to "Stepford Wife" her ass.
The skill points come in handy if you want to create characters around your main one, but don’t want to be preoccupied with all the time. For example, if you create a family but don’t want a generations gameplay, you can equip the parents with a good career and the necessary skills to maintain it, so you can focus on your main character. Same goes for if you create custom townies to hang out with
Sorry gripping again. I had these two "Soulmates" maxed on friendship and one insult from this woman dropped it 30%. Just once. You know how much shmoozing it takes to recover a 30% drop... Smooth Apologies aren't crap for amends. It's as much a time sink repairing that, as getting over the constant deaths of extended family members... There at least needs to be a Trait to counter Mean, like Forgiving. Where apologies can at least repair 60% of the hit delivered... I mean I don't know how to deal with this without cheating.
I mostly like cheats in Sims 2 to set up adults in more logical ways. Like my adult Sim having zero skills and no job (or at first level) while being married with two kids makes no sense. So I’ll cheat enough money that it’s reasonable for the level of career that matches his or her life state. From there I try to play it straight as much is reasonable. Having an always happy Sim with unlimited money is boring gameplay. But knowing I can tweak things for better gameplay is nice. So thanks for the sims 4 cheats.
@@alyssaj.2659😂😂😂 yeah no … I don’t think so. Cheatcodes are usually part of a game for debugging reasons. On the other hand, that specific cheats like rosebud are still part of the game in Sims 4 even though it probably isnt necessary due to other moneycheats existing is most likely the case because that was a very well known cheat even in the Sims 1 so it makes sense they kept it.
I recently had to replace my keyboard and was having issues brining up the cheat bar and typing using my desktop/tablet (surface pro) and I found an easy way around this. So if you are like me and waiting for that new key board to come in the mail and want to play your game right now lol then here is how to do it! Hope this helps somone! Hello everyone! It’s 2022 and I can definitely say I know exactly how to fix this issue. I had the same exact problem where I no longer have my keyboard and everytime I tried using the on-screen key board in the sims4 it would exit the game and just wasn’t typing in the text box. I have a surface pro 4 but this can work on both Mac and non Mac laptops/tablets. Please keep in mind this is for desktop computers/tablets not mobile devices like the iPad. If you have an iPad you can only play sims4 mobile or sims4 free anyway. So if you have a desktop tablet or just a traditional desktop at home this life saver is for you! Note: you must have wifi for this to work! Step 1: on you Microsoft computer you can hit the bottom left Microsoft home icon (the four white boxes) and go to the Microsoft store. Step 2: search “ Remote mouse” it should be a green box with a white mouse logo. Download this to your computer. When it’s done it will ask if you want to follow the instructions say yes it’s very easy. Note: if you don’t know how to find this app or you don’t have Microsoft and still need the download link you can always Google the name of the app. Just Incase I added the link for you here below. Again this is not just for Microsoft but also Mac it’ll ask you. Link: www.remotemouse.net/ Step 3: after you have downloaded the app to your computer you can now download the same app to your phone. Step 4: now that both your phone and computer share the same app. Follow the directions (super easy to use ) make sure both devices are working on the same wifi when following the instructions! Step 5: ok now that your connected and your using the mouse you also have a key board on there as well. However it doesn't show the hot keys you need to open the cheat bar in the game. So here is the trick. If you have a Microsoft lap top you go to the Microsoft home button again bottom left. And go to settings > ease of access > key board (scroll down left hand side) > turn on “Use the on screen key board” Step 6: ok now that you have the on screen key board turned on leave it in the corner somewhere you won’t touch it until needed. Because when you launch the game and try to touch it it just minimizes the game. If that happens just click the sims 4 icon pinned at the bottom task bar and it’ll reopen up no problem. Note: this works best if you first go to your game options with the three dots usually to the top right corner and go to > game options> graphics and then at the top you will see “ display type” choose “windowed” this way you can see the desktop and everything. Step 7: launch whatever household you want. Once your on the lot use the on screen key board to click the command CTRL + SHIFT + C Don’t click anything else but those buttons it won’t close on you. Your cheat bar should pop up. At this moment you can use your new key board connected to your phone to click the bar and type on your phone whatever cheats you want to use. Petey, I've missed you! Glad I had time to drop in and see your video. You have inspired some high School drama scenarios over the anguish of love/hate relationships thank you kindly. I use money x cheat to make my sims pay taxes, in long gameplay money comes way too easy so I charge my sims' taxes yearly and removed 25% of the income ( except for deductions like homeowner [ reduce percent by 2% per home - for all vacation homes/rental you are required to use 1% per household for improvements] , young child [ reduce 2% per sim] , paying for college for yourself or a dependent[ reduce 2% per Sim but if it is a dependent you have to give 1% of your taxed money to that adult child], elderly Security funds [ reduce 4% per sim], Loss of income earning Sim via death in that year [ reduce 5% per Sim] and if you are below the poverty line based on Sim household size ALL of these exceptions are doubled AND they get a reduction to 15% as the baseline. Doing the math means impoverished sims can get money back on tax day. I make it a holiday on the calendar so I remember to stop gameplay and deal with taxes and after I adjust all the household family funds I then "use the funds" to make improvements or completely replace a community lot with something that matches the needs of my current households. I also use the money x cheat to increase the cost of college by x10 for most sims and x5 for impoverished sims. I'm also a math teacher so doing the math is just a reflex for me - but i have a whole spreadsheet on making all statical data in the sims proportional to real-world studies.

I was never the type to play sims games, even though sims 3 was REALLY popular with my friend circle, tried sims 4 today and OH MY GOD!? I didn’t even realize that I’ve been playing it for 8 HOURS STRAIGHT!! I got engaged with the first girl I found after leaving my new small house in that game lmfaooo, still figuring out the game settings, there were like thousands of invitations and all I’ve been doing is basic needs and job😭😆

One of my favorite ways to use the Move Objects cheat is to make the Retro TV from the Grandma's Attic pack a Usable Television by placing a smaller flatscreen into the old TV table.

Your videos are very good and informative, thank you. I've found and worked with the money cheat only, so far. The objects cheat would be great, I've seen other simmers use this. I get the putting off of the seeming complexity of some of the cheats. But thank you for pointing them all out. I'll have to take some notes and keep them handy.
I love using cheats in my sims game. My top 3 cheats are friendship/relationship cheat, money cheat, and cas.fulleditmode ❤️

@@mindless_dbz when you type the cheat in the little Dropbox you have to go to a dresser (this worked for me) and then go to change sim. After that you click on the traits and press remove trait.

I had a sim in the football one and they couldn't progress because a requirement wouldn't complete?
Ooh, I know for Uni organisations you can cheat to rank up, but there's a separate set of specific cheats. I haven't tried the football after school activity in depth yet, but it's something I want to cover so I am hoping that they fix that glitch or that there's a way to overcome it! I use move objects, because you should already be able to... I've modded sims in CAS when first meeting if there was something I just had to change.
I try to stay away from free points because why try to progress anything then?
However I have had aspiration completions bug where I don't get credit when I have do the task, so if I have done the task, and not gotten credit because of buggy programming, I'll push that one.
I will admit I have a wife sim in one house who.... is a bitch. She gets max relationship with her husband and then out of the blue on her own will just go into bitch mode, and start insulting him or yelling at him for no reason... she does it to her kids too.

The skill points come in handy if you want to create characters around your main one, but don’t want to be preoccupied with all the time. For example, if you create a family but don’t want a generations gameplay, you can equip the parents with a good career and the necessary skills to maintain it, so you can focus on your main character. Same goes for if you create custom townies to hang out with
Sorry gripping again. I had these two "Soulmates" maxed on friendship and one insult from this woman dropped it 30%. Just once. You know how much shmoozing it takes to recover a 30% drop... Smooth Apologies aren't crap for amends. It's as much a time sink repairing that, as getting over the constant deaths of extended family members...
There at least needs to be a Trait to counter Mean, like Forgiving. Where apologies can at least repair 60% of the hit delivered... I mean I don't know how to deal with this without cheating.
I mostly like cheats in Sims 2 to set up adults in more logical ways. Like my adult Sim having zero skills and no job (or at first level) while being married with two kids makes no sense. So I’ll cheat enough money that it’s reasonable for the level of career that matches his or her life state. From there I try to play it straight as much is reasonable. Having an always happy Sim with unlimited money is boring gameplay. But knowing I can tweak things for better gameplay is nice. So thanks for the sims 4 cheats.

On the other hand, that specific cheats like rosebud are still part of the game in Sims 4 even though it probably isnt necessary due to other moneycheats existing is most likely the case because that was a very well known cheat even in the Sims 1 so it makes sense they kept it.
I recently had to replace my keyboard and was having issues brining up the cheat bar and typing using my desktop/tablet (surface pro) and I found an easy way around this. So if you are like me and waiting for that new key board to come in the mail and want to play your game right now lol then here is how to do it! Hope this helps somone!
Hello everyone!
It’s 2022 and I can definitely say I know exactly how to fix this issue. I had the same exact problem where I no longer have my keyboard and everytime I tried using the on-screen key board in the sims4 it would exit the game and just wasn’t typing in the text box.
I have a surface pro 4 but this can work on both Mac and non Mac laptops/tablets. Please keep in mind this is for desktop computers/tablets not mobile devices like the iPad. If you have an iPad you can only play sims4 mobile or sims4 free anyway. So if you have a desktop tablet or just a traditional desktop at home this life saver is for you!
Note: you must have wifi for this to work!
Step 1: on you Microsoft computer you can hit the bottom left Microsoft home icon (the four white boxes) and go to the Microsoft store.
Step 2: search “ Remote mouse” it should be a green box with a white mouse logo. Download this to your computer. When it’s done it will ask if you want to follow the instructions say yes it’s very easy.
Note: if you don’t know how to find this app or you don’t have Microsoft and still need the download link you can always Google the name of the app. Just Incase I added the link for you here below. Again this is not just for Microsoft but also Mac it’ll ask you.

Step 3: after you have downloaded the app to your computer you can now download the same app to your phone.
Step 4: now that both your phone and computer share the same app. Follow the directions (super easy to use ) make sure both devices are working on the same wifi when following the instructions!
Step 5: ok now that your connected and your using the mouse you also have a key board on there as well. However it doesn't show the hot keys you need to open the cheat bar in the game. So here is the trick. If you have a Microsoft lap top you go to the Microsoft home button again bottom left. And go to settings > ease of access > key board (scroll down left hand side) > turn on “Use the on screen key board”
Step 6: ok now that you have the on screen key board turned on leave it in the corner somewhere you won’t touch it until needed. Because when you launch the game and try to touch it it just minimizes the game. If that happens just click the sims 4 icon pinned at the bottom task bar and it’ll reopen up no problem.
Note: this works best if you first go to your game options with the three dots usually to the top right corner and go to > game options> graphics and then at the top you will see “ display type” choose “windowed” this way you can see the desktop and everything.
Step 7: launch whatever household you want. Once your on the lot use the on screen key board to click the command CTRL + SHIFT + C
Don’t click anything else but those buttons it won’t close on you. Your cheat bar should pop up. At this moment you can use your new key board connected to your phone to click the bar and type on your phone whatever cheats you want to use.

Petey, I've missed you! Glad I had time to drop in and see your video. You have inspired some high School drama scenarios over the anguish of love/hate relationships thank you kindly.
I use money x cheat to make my sims pay taxes, in long gameplay money comes way too easy so I charge my sims' taxes yearly and removed 25% of the income ( except for deductions like homeowner [ reduce percent by 2% per home - for all vacation homes/rental you are required to use 1% per household for improvements] , young child [ reduce 2% per sim] , paying for college for yourself or a dependent[ reduce 2% per Sim but if it is a dependent you have to give 1% of your taxed money to that adult child], elderly Security funds [ reduce 4% per sim], Loss of income earning Sim via death in that year [ reduce 5% per Sim] and if you are below the poverty line based on Sim household size ALL of these exceptions are doubled AND they get a reduction to 15% as the baseline. Doing the math means impoverished sims can get money back on tax day.
I make it a holiday on the calendar so I remember to stop gameplay and deal with taxes and after I adjust all the household family funds I then "use the funds" to make improvements or completely replace a community lot with something that matches the needs of my current households.
I also use the money x cheat to increase the cost of college by x10 for most sims and x5 for impoverished sims.
I'm also a math teacher so doing the math is just a reflex for me - but i have a whole spreadsheet on making all statical data in the sims proportional to real-world studies.
