Oh my gosh, thank you!! You are out here saving simmers lives 😭🙏 or at the very least, our time 😆 I mainly build in the sims and these tips are honestly a god send and are about to make building so much smoother. Thank you for taking the time to show us these tips, they're truly appreciated Danielle. 😊
I am an avid sims player, Ive always played on console but finally built myself a pc and of course im playing modded sims now and your video has changed my life LOL I have been trying to figure out how to build everything the way I see some people build in videos and this is a perfect explainer so thank you!
For my console besties, here’s a video showing the Build Mode cheats/hotkeys! ruclips.net/video/OAx79-679MU/видео.html www.ea.com/games/the-sims/cheats#build-mode-console-cheats
You just gave the answers I was always curious about the sizing of object I saw in building tutorial vids!!! Thank you so much! Tbh, I hate building a house so I normally download shells. But seeing your video helps a lot I might try building one. 🎉
Omg thank you SO MUCHHH for this!!!! It has been so difficult trying to get into building in the sims when no other youtubers talk about the hot keys they use!! I can’t express how helpful this was and now I’m actually excited to build!!
Just discovered your channel, and I absolutely love your tutorials. You get right into it and explain everything clearly, quickly, and concisely. I have learned so much because I don’t feel like I have to sit through non-instructional commentary that goes on waaaaayyyy too long as many tutorials from other people do. Thank you so much!!!!!
OH WOW... I never knew about the gear key to unlock all the kitchen cabinet pieces, and the stair shortcut! I had a helluva time adjusting my basement stairs!
I gave been playing the sims games since I was a little kid in the early 2000s, and I've been playing the sims 4 since the day it came out, and I NEVER KNEW most of these... thousands of hours down and I never even knew you could even press alt to place wallpaper on just one wall. Thank you sm for this video, but dang how did I not know these things 😭😭😭
Thank you for this video! I have just gotten back into playing the game after not playing for 2 years lol I feel like I forgot everything and this brought it all back in one video!
I love this video! It's so fast with all of the things it shows so there's so much in it:) One thing you can do if your items are clipping into your bedside table though is put a shelf that it'll snap onto at the same height as your table. Then you can drag the item over to your nightstand and get rid of the shelf:)
Thanks I really enjoyed this, I have learnt a lot, I’m very new to this and elderly, I was introduced to sims by my daughter. Thank you I will keep looking at this and try to remember your tips. Would love to see more house building for beginners.
Thank you SOOO SO MUCH for these tips!! I love building in The Sims and I always wondered how my favorite RUclipsrs build things so fast without interacting as much with the UI. You’re a life saver ❤️
This entire video was a GOLDMINE of info! Thank you so much! As a new player I felt overwhelmed by learning the controls & this was straightforward & easy to understand for a beginner
Recently came across your page on FB and came over to YT to watch your full videos. Girl you are so creative and inspired me to get back on the game!!💖
I've seen the buildings you post on Facebook and some videos and always wondered how you rotate and place plants/rocks repeatedly and so quickly lol thank you for this video!
For the plant glitching through the nightstand: you can free place a shelf at the same level as the stand and place the plant on it, remove the shelf and the plant should stay at the height of the shelf once you drag it off
I got to the mod advertising part and was thinking this was all I learned new and then saw that shift with the bush and couch and said omg this girl is really giving all the deets
I didn't know about most of these. And thank you for the deleting the debug one most! I accidentally put a tombstone on my lot and can't get rid of for anything so definitely going to do that one
I knew about bb.move objects but always curious how to move objects freely now thank to you! I been playing for several years but this is a whole new level 😅 thank you so much for sharing!!
I learned a few of the hot keys from lilsimsie but now I know even more from you! The + and - is genius, holy crap. That's going to help so much😁 I can spend HOURS on a build, especially if I'm going through my endless CC decorations 🤣
'I hope I told you something new today' LIKE GIRL, MOST OF YOU SAID WAS NEW FOR ME, OF COURSE YOU DID 😭!! Also thank you for all that... I literally wrote down everything I didn't know which filled almost an entire A4 page 😂... And I was trying to write using small (still easily readible) letters xd...
Ahhh thank you for sharing, I was getting annoyed with why they set things far apart or I can't put certain things in corners like they should fit, this helps so much. T^T
oh this helped a lot babez have a nice day gorge EDIT: if you have more tips for building that would be amazingg coz i literally did not know that feature about the counters
I loved this video I saved it to my playlist and the + thing doesn’t work on my keyboard because I don’t have a American one,it just zooms in and the - key zooms it back out love the vid tho!!❤❤
Thank you for educating me further in my Sims builds. I more comfortable at CAS and recently have gotten better at free placement of items my only complaint is the dang gridlock 😢 i wish there was free FREE building ya know? I love clutter in my homes and the automatic snap to grid bums me out but thank goodness for sims 3 camera and the move items up and down features lol I follow your content on Facebook too but im just now commenting on your RUclips. Thank you for the extra delicious tips & tricks!! Happy 2025❤🎉
Wow. I'm impressed. Like almost half of it I didn't know. Awesome. Especially the alt and shift to place the same object over and over again would have saved me so much time. Love it.
1:59 HOW TO HAVE THE CAMERA ANGLE?? IDK IF IT'S STATED IN THE VIDEO I HAVEN'T FINISHED BUT THERE ARE LOADS OF INFO FOR MY LITTLE BRAIN BUT MY MOST RECENT QUESTION IS HOW TO HAVE THAT ANGLE 😭😭
thank you much. i played the sims for so long and still don't know everything.
Me too ! I feel like a noob now !
THIS RIGHT HERE

thank you so much
Yes! Your voice is calm, but fast paced. I think the best of all the build videos.

Your videos are SO HELPFUL !!! I just started playing the sims and I’m watching your videos about building to build my own house and stuff, thank you!
For the plant glitching through the nightstand: you can free place a shelf at the same level as the stand and place the plant on it, remove the shelf and the plant should stay at the height of the shelf once you drag it off
I did not know about the stairs!! I swear i was just thinking today about how hard it is to figure out the stairs. Thank you so much!
