this is the last home for this neighborhood in my save file for 2 struggling musicians, a brother, and a partner! i'm testing out a bit of a different format today with a real time build & commentary! this is part 1, part 2 will be the furnishing :)

☆ how to access live edit/debug menu (with no mods):
1. open command console using: ctrl/command shift C
2. type type the following cheats in order:
☆ testingcheats true
☆ bb.showhiddenobjects
☆ bb.showliveeditobjects
3. close the command console using ctrl/command shift C
4. enter build mode and type "debug" into the search bar to access all these objects
note: you need to repeat all these steps each time you open the game or a world - if you don't have the better build & buy mod :)

im halfway through but just want to say im LOVING this longerform kind of video! its actually my first one of yours im watching, and im enjoying it so much. id say you dont need to worry about organizing how you do things either (as you were worried) its so fun to see you think things through as you build or just seeing your process, its honestly my favourite thing now and i wish more folks made videos like this!

This is my first long play and I have to say i much prefer this to a stream because it flows better. I get why streamers have to acknowledge subs and it's fun to get live input but this is really relaxing and feels just as personal :))
I love this kind of videoooo! so glad I found you, so nice to just have on and peer in while I work or something or even while I build. also dont feel stressed about being 'organized' with your builds for recording purposes, I build in random sections too so feel free to just do whatever :)

I was preparing my own realistic save file, I needed a new way to play my game
i did dishes, packed and just watched this video. The hexagon over ground pools you make remind me of these hot tub esc round heatable tubs (most often heated by burning wood in a stove) that are common in finland (called palju)
oh super cool! i was thinking of the ones powered by a generator but the wood stove sounds so much better!

I love this! Such a simple idea but the execution is just *chef's kiss*! It has so much character already and feels so genuine and lived in! I'm feeling very inspired rn to build something in a similar vibe, you literally gave me the motivation to turn on the sims for the first time in months lol. you have to use the tool mod if you want to place things off of the actual lot! i made it look like the side walk extended onto my property with a basegame concrete floor and then just decorated that :)

no i just edit the colours in premiere pro when im editing my vids :)
