as well as no door, it also seems to be floating a level above the rest of the house (edit: upon further look, i actually have no idea how this room is positioned, the grid lines up with the rest of the floor, but the wall height does not? it's like half a tile from the rest of the building? which is impossible?)

YASSS! I wanted to see this house made real! lol I can't remember if I looked at it long enough to notice it was weird; I think I did but not to this extent. Btw, I always wanted to recreate that house you see at the top of the EA Gallery website; overlaying the screenshot of the enthusiastic red-headed Sim on the left. I think they built it on that empty lot, Arid Ridge, in the Skyward Palms neighborhood of Oasis Springs, where the Caliente's live (alongside two empty houses.) I'm assuming it's all base game because I think that image has been on the gallery for as long as I can remember! There's no floor plan, and it looks rather small and weird in hindsight, but I was irked that EA hadn't shared it (from what I could tell by.) I'd be thrilled if James wanted to build that one too!

I love how bizarre this house is. Definitely gives me early sims vibes

This build (mainly the interior layout and decoration) gives strong sims 2 vibes😂😂 But yeah, you did an amazing job recreating it👏👏👏

I'm so glad you mentioned the lack of door in the bathroom because I noticed it earlier on and it was driving me crazy 😂

You did an outstanding job recreating the house with only one image! I wouldn't know where to start!

You need to make this livable and do a let's play in it!

Oh Sims! This house is the game in a nutshell. Looks beautiful, interesting and fun. Reality is... glitchy, ridiculous and full of WTF moments. Thanks for trying to make it work James!

Nice job! This is pretty cool. I would love to see some minor renovations to it, and maybe a possible Let’s Play in it. Haha

After recreating every big wallet building not on the gallery, and then giving up on recreating Chaz's farm, I cannot properly express how satisfying it is to watch James try such a difficult recreation.

It looks so satisfying doing the rolling between the both images. Its pretty much bang on. Awesome Video!! Would love to see an improvement video on it!

I feel like the bathroom was actually to show that you can attach full on rooms :) great build!

Redecorating this thing as kind of a community challenge, with the rule not to move walls would also be a fun thing

YES! Like a shell challenge although I frankly wouldn't mess with the terrain or landscaping much either lol. It'd take forever.😅😆
