To be honest I really didn't like the vine flooring from lovestruck from beginning, I thought it was to busy. But now I use it as ceiling painting, it connects with the matching wallpaper and it gives the impression of hanging vines. Super cool for kids rooms

Syd, could you do a build where you can’t use items that belong in certain spaces? For example, you can’t have a fridge or countertops in a kitchen, yet you still have to make it look as normal as possible. Maybe use a dresser instead of countertops? Nothing can be used as their intended use.

I LOVE these builds and all the tips are super helpful-a little clarification on *Retro Futurism* as an aesthetic genre: it refers to the mid 20th (1950/1960s) century imaging of what the future could look like, so the Jetsons & Disney’s Tomorrowland is a good example, but there’s plenty of fantastic art, architecture and works of fiction inspired by this time period and made during this period that are still influential to this day. Flying cars, Utopias, biomorphic design with mid century modern twists etc are all pretty well known features. Love, A Retro Futurism and Syd Fan

I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

It’s funny you mentioned your Sixam occult build because I was already thinking about it during the Grotto- imagine an extraterrestrial mermaid (of the same planet as your space pink mermaid) who was looking for another planet with something akin to water, whose rocket crashed in a desert and she hurried to the hidden cave with water. She’s been gathering the wreckage of the ship to create a little home for herself hidden away from human eyes. In enters a scientist who’s secretly a werewolf who has always hidden in this grotto on full moons to keep from hurting other people. Love story as they build their hidden home together. I also really liked the Sylvan Glade build, especially the floating lantern concept and the knit flower holder string (though I do wish there was some way to get up that didn’t involve cheats, and/or stairs between the two lanterns) and the Sixam flying station (did Syd just say Jetsons, or did she make the Jetsim pun?) was so fun and definitely fit the retrofuturism Syd was aiming for. I can totally see space criminals hanging out there, counting their ill-gotten gains and partying hard.
Loved these builds! My faves, tho all of them are great, are honestly the more run-down builds. The random mechanic couple has become my new obsession! Feel like they need to be brought to life. And honestly, the cottagecore hermit house is everything. So cute and homey while still being very hand-crafted and from-the-land. I feel like if The Sims reflected our real-life housing crisis, these would be the homes of certain displaced people/families. Maybe they just couldn't afford houses in towns/cities, maybe they didn't want to live under an HOA, or maybe they just knew they would be happier away from it all. So these places could reflect the stories of people really branching out and making happy homes of their own, no matter how far they had to go. Love them so much, and can't wait to see what you come up with for other hidden worlds. You're awesome, Syd! ♡♡♡♡

Forgotten Grotto reminds me of something in the Professor Layton games! I would love to do a rags to riches challenge using this build!
