WHY TAKE HIS NUMBER PLATE OFF????WHY AS THE FRENCH ALLOWED HIM THROUGH WITHOUT A NUMBER PLATE ????????
RIGA MORTICE AS SET IN TO ENGLAND SEAN AND EMILY GOVERNMENT AND MANY OF OUR OWN PEOPLE ARE TO BLAME .I WAS BORN IN THE OLD ENGLAND NEARLY 80 YEARS AGO THIS IS THE NEW SATANIC ONE.
SOME TOWNS AND CITYS ARE A PLACE OF VIOLENCE .
Why are you shouting at us? 🤣😂 We have no idea 🤷🏼♀️🤣😂
its on line you both broke up so you must have got back together then.
The UK and Wales are so beautiful to ride through... A specialy Wales. Have fun during your trip of your home country. Much be strange experience understanding everything around you.
Yeah they really are, Wales especially for us as it's even more familiar 😊. It sure is! Especially the first couple of days, it's like mental overload being able to hear and understand multiple conversations at once 😄
This first v-log started absolutely great !
And I like that you showed us the Eurotunnel area , how it worked.
That cafè is something we would like to try out.
Hey Ake, thanks! Yeah I guess if someone hasn’t used the tunnel before it’s nice to know what to expect 😊 it’s super convenient. Can totally recommend that cafe, great views and tasty food 👍🏻
the journey has begun. Maybe I came in late...✊✊👊👊
No you’re just in time 😎🙌🏻 aiming for 3 episodes a week.
Awesome! Cannot wait for the videos 😊
Lot's on the way over the next couple of months! Really enjoyed this trip and we can't wait to share it! 😊
Welcome back. My wife and.myself.did the same.of.passing duty free.on the way back from luxembourg. Park up.and wait to get on the train. Bikes are always last to get on. We had one where the bikes where the only ones on the lower deck. Daddy sauce is another option.
Thanks, yeah the road kind of leads you to duty free lol. Nice of them to put us on the early shuttle so not too long to wait 😊 ...oh yeah I forgot about the other one!
So much better than a ferry and they normally let you on an early train. Despite living near Newcastle it’s worth the long southerly ride. Shame about the delays post Brexit as it used to be so much more straightforward.
Yeah agreed, so easy and fast. That's a fair journey down south from there. We have often taken the Hull - Rotterdam overnight ferry which is not bad as you arrive fresh the next day. Although that's got a lot more expensive in recent years.
No. I completely disagree. Using a ferry is the only acceptable way to go to an island.
Didn't mean to rock the boat 😉, we do enjoy a ferry too (plenty of ferries on the way)
Oh, this will be fun🥳 Looking forward to join you also this time😊
Hi Johnny, this was such a fun tour! it's going to be 4 weeks through England, Wales, over to Ireland and up to Belfast to get the ferry to Scotland. Ride the NC500 all the way around and drop back through England and onto North Wales 😊. About 8500km
Nice homecoming. You both can't stop smiling. Good start. Looking forward to new video's. 😎👍
Hi Ruud, yeah it was really nice to get back on home soil and the sun came out to welcome us too 😊☀️ we are looking forwards to sharing them too 😎🙌🏻
The tunnel on the bike looks great! I can't wait to try it next summer! welcome back to the UK! Box hill is a great place
Hi Eddie, yeah the tunnel is so easy and convenient -literally ride on ride off 😎👍
Thanks, it's nice to be back and even better to be able to see all the places we should have seen when we lived here.
Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoy the series 😊.
S&E
@@SeanandEmily so true, we mostly don't explore the places we live in LOL - yes enjoying the series, thank you both for the great content!
Excited for this tour. I missed the Corsica tour, so will have to go back for that as well.
Hey Brank The Corsica tour was a lot of fun and some unexpected spectacular roads!
We had a fantastic time filming this new series so looking forwards to sharing it.
This looked like a fantastic way to start your heading west tour. Roll on episode 2......
Hi Darren, Yeah an easy crossing and a great breakfast to stat things off =). Next episode out the same time tomorrow 😎
Welcome back to the U.K. 👍Graham
Thanks Graham! Even the sun came out to great us 😊
The side doors of the train carriages do open, so you can locate the loo if you need it. The shutters between the carriages stay closed during the crossing.
Don't know if our carriage was defect but the doors would not open - as you say they normally do but the button didn't seem to do anything. Not to worry it was only a quick journey 😄
Well you certainly arrived in style, the big british breakfast looked delicious, had to have one myself as it made me hungry. What’s with the weather, did you edit the video to make it look so good……. Great to see the White Cliffs on the drone, all it needed was a flyby with a few spitfires…
Never has a big breakfast been needed so much!! -almost went back for seconds lol. Couldn't believe we left the rain in France to be greeted with Blue skies and sunny weather! ........believe it or not almost all the trip had good weather!!
Oh yes a flyby would be awesome!!! 😊
If you are travelling up through Wales and heading for Holyhead for the ferry to Ireland ,try either Buckley Tyres or Colwyn Bay Motorcycles for your tyres, both know what they are doing, safe journey.
Hi Andrew, thanks for the suggestions! We take the ferry directly to Scotland from Belfast so will look for tires in Glasgow. Actually used to use Buckley tires many years ago 😊
That's good ,can't be throwing mileage on tyres away they are too expensive, if you are coming up through Wales I suggest a great road for you ,I have done a 225 mile loop today from North Wales down through Machynlleth to Llandrindod Wells ,the A483 from there to Newtown is epic, enjoy.
Sounds great! We are from North Wales but never really explored much of mid and south Wales (must have been too far from our village lol). Glad you had a good ride 😎👍
Nice trip
Thanks! It's going to be a good one 😊
@@SeanandEmily I wish to do what you do
Your in my neck of the woods i like a ride upto the cliff top cafe for breaky its lovely up there on a nice day
It's a great cafe with really tasty food! Nice to have that place on your doorstep. It's a lovely location and a great place to start the day!
I see you moved the camera to the right side now..
Yeah it's good to be in a country which speaks your language
Yes that's correct, as the UK drive on the other side of the road 😊. Yeah it sure makes things easier and it's nice to chat to people on the way.
HP sauce is a big thing in Sweden aswell. What a great start you got😊
No Way!! Didn't expect that to be popular in Sweden! .....with this new information maybe we should consider living in Sweden! 😊
@@SeanandEmily Had to google the year, but been popular in Sweden since early 1900
You are welcome 😂
You Swedes have good taste! 😂
@@SeanandEmily Don´t get to hasty, you are talking about a country where people(very few) are eating fermented herring 😂
hahah in that case we retract our previous statement 😂
If you wait a few years, you will be able to ride 18km below the sea, in the new Tunnel from Denmark to Germany, by your own!! The only reasonable way to do it!!! And not waiting for a - Train instead of waiting for a Ferry, but at any time wanted!!!! Also with two tracks for Electric Trains, of course! Finn. Denmark 😁 And you don't need to change direction, when ending on the other side. From that a train is fine!
Wow that's a big project for a short cut -impressive! If it's being built where we think it is that will save a lot of time.
The channel tunnel is 50km long -probably best they keep the train system could be a nightmare if something went wrong. The Gothard tunnel in Switzerland is 16km and that you can drive through.
Good point! The train does help with the change of road sides 😊
The Tunnel is expected to be finished in 2029, and as the Danes are competent builders of now several huge Infrastructure Projects, I'm sure it will be finished by then? As now 76 I do hope to also be able to drive through! I did hate the ferries for many years going to Belgium several times a year! They didn't sail when I needed it and it was a waste of time, plus costly! Finn. Denmark
We look forwards to riding through it too, always exciting to see these awesome building projects. We were amazed by some of the infrastructure in Scandinavia, some cities in Norway had a complete underground network of tunnels with huge car parks! Very impressive
@@SeanandEmily They have a roundabout below the sea, with several exits. And since the seventies, when I crossed Sognefjorden, there have been talks about an eventual undersea tunnel, on stilts, because the depth is that much. Finn
It is also Norwegian Technique which has been used making tunnels between the rocky islands on the (Danish) Faroes, below the sea! So now you are able to drive between several of the islands, instead of using the till then ferries. I think they also have a roundabout up there, below the sea! Finn
So much better than the ferry. ❤
Yeah Totally agree, it's so quick with zero faff 😊
And it’s started great intro and your heading to Rykers that used to be a local until I saw the light and moved to north wales
Thanks, it will keep getting better and better from here on 😊 That's right heading to Rykers the next day, it's a cool place and must be a great hang out on the weekends. And now you have the Pondarosa!😊
@@SeanandEmily yes we have a few here in wales now chain and sprocket owls nest and ponderosa
Not heard of those, will have to look them up the next time we are over =)
@@SeanandEmily chain and sprocket is in ruithin and owls nest is mid wales
When in wales you really need to ride through the Elan valley
Had a few suggestions to ride the Eden valley, looks fantastic 😊 Thanks!
salam touring dari Kota Kendari
Thank you very much! 😊
if you look out the window you can see the fish i sed that to a small girl and her mouther couldnot get here ayay from the windo till it came out in france lol
Haha 😂 Kept her entertained at least 😊
What jacket is that you're both wearing?
Hi, we are wearing the Touratech Rambler suits 👍
the train doors just press the orange button let you down to the next carrage to get to the loos ride safe
For some reason the door wouldn't open ...good job it was only 20 min lol . Thanks!
Why do you take the train and go through an underground tunnel, is there no land route?
Yes that's correct, there is no land route to the UK from mainland Europe. The 50km long tunnel has been open since 1994. There are also ferry's running but they take almost 2 hours to cross.
@@SeanandEmily OK, I understand. My brain wasn't connected just now because I watched your video when I woke up. I also just found out that there is a train from mainland Europe to the UK via an underwater tunnel
Actually lots of people don’t know about it 😊. Yes this is the underwater tunnel, the passenger train uses the same line. 😎🙌🏻
🙄
The tunnel is an underground land route. You could drive a small car through the very narrow service tunnel that sits between the two unidirectional train tunnels. But of course only service vehicles are allowed to do that.
Just to let you and your viewers know, there are toilets on board these trains.. when you started to disembark,(Time span 8:18 on your video) one was on your left.
They didn’t work/did not open on our journey.
@@SeanandEmily that’s a bummer!….ride safely.
Thanks, let’s just say we are glad the cliff view cafe was nearby 😁
@@SeanandEmily 😆👍

What do you guys do for a living? Trust Fund :) You guys never work and too young to be retired.
Taking the Euro tunnel does not require a trust fund 🤣
Border about to change requiring us to get finger print and face id .. still punishing us for brexit. . Tunnel is brilliant get on quick chat and your across
Oh really, wow. I guess the added security isn’t a bad thing but hopefully they speed up the process. We had to wait a while at Rotterdam -the Dutch borders seem to be very strict.
Tunnel is great and as you say nice to have a chat and you’re off 😎👍🏻
Nobody's punishing us. We left the EU. We are now subject to the rules that apply to non-EU countries.
How long have you been on the road and never going home? 😂
Home is on the road 😂🤣
We just came back that way from Berlin. The UK Border Agency are useless jobsworths even getting us to take off our helmets - which the French don’t bother with. That’s what holds everything up for no good reason.
No way! Can't believe they asked you to take the helmets off! -We have never ever been asked to take them off at a border crossing. I don't even think the French border guards even look at us - too busy having a nap lol.
Yeah we did notice things taking a bit longer than usual, also delays getting into the Netherlands.
@@SeanandEmily and yet our only issue with travelling into and out of the Netherlands was the exact same bit of road (A67) in Germany (A40) being unrestricted, down to 100km/h in the Netherlands and back up to 120km/h in Belgium (E34) :o
It is a “good reason”…..SECURITY, they check your face against your passport. A lot of people want to get into UK illegally, not only by dinghy across the channel !
If we were in the EU and the Schengen area, we wouldn't even need passport checks. The UK officials need to see that you really are the person on the photo in your passport. So it's a security issue. Same when you go into a UK bank.
@@johnjones-gb8dw The UK officials can see our faces (especially with a flip-up lid). The bank (and petrol station) requests are to stop people keeping their helmets on and visors down so as not to be recognised. That's a completely different thing.
