Is This The BEST Road in FRANCE?! D81 Corsica Is UNBELIEVABLE
Fabulous video Sean and Emily! I'm surprised that you have not heard of a lot of these places down here in the South West. Lynmouth, Porlock and Cheddar Gorge are beautiful. And Avebury is much nicer than Stonehenge. I live in Shaftesbury, Dorset, nearby. This ancient Saxon hilltop town has one of the most famous streets in the UK, 'Gold Hill' Surely you have heard of that? It was made famous by Sir Ridley Scott in 1973 at the start of his movie career, with his famous Hovis bread advert. Then along came Alien, and Gladiator. I was in Cardiff a couple of weeks ago for another family funeral. Where are you 2 from? Cheers! 😊
Literally love living here get to go around the highlands on my bike every weekend
I think you will find that everything over here is a lot more expensive than uk
What fantastic cinematography through the Gap of Dunloe ❤ the best ive seen on YT.. Im out West too at the moment. Keep up the brilliant vlogs 😊🏍💨
Thanks very much Stevie!! That's very kind of you to say so 😊. Hope you're having a wonderful time. The trip was amazing so much so each day of filming is taking 2-3 episodes so plenty more on the way 😎👍
MID WALES,, not South.
Wow thanks Chris for your fantastic contribution, of all of the amazing scenery and fantastic rides in Wales that's what you decide to comment on! 🤣 Started in Abergavenny, finished in Fishguard Via the Brecon Beacons which runs between Mid and South Wales, really not a big deal.
Ireland is truly spectacular
Hi Maggie, it really is! I don't think we realized how nice it is until we experienced it ourselves. 😊
Been visiting Ireland since the late 70s (I’m old!) but I’ve missed so much, I’m fast filling up ‘places to go’ on Google maps. Already planning next years trip through Wales north to south and then the southern part of the WAW around to Tralee. Did the north to south section in beautiful weather in 2018. Fellow RUclipsr the Likeable Rider (another Sean) has been doing a similar trip as yours, he’s enjoyed himself too.👍 PS. Love the editing, I’m just starting my video editing as a lover of travel and photography.
Hi Ian, that's great - you must know it really well and have had the chance to see the less visited places too. Wales will be great, unfortunately the north wales day of this tour is when we broke our run of good weather -absolutely poured down!! 🤣 So we will need to do this section again in the future. Glad you like the editing, it's a fun learning curve. We got back home with 4 TB of footage but we are slowly getting through it lol Travel and Photography go together so perfectly 😊
Triple black will look great at night.
Didn't you already say this on the other video?
A wilderness of sorts, but still beautiful. I don't know if these videos are in "real time" or not, but Galway to Spiddal and across to Maam Cross and on to Killery Fjord is a lovely scenic road too.
Hi Nigel, thanks for the tips! These are not in real time as they would take too long to make on the road and need a powerful computer to process the 4k footage. We do take a very similar route to the one you suggest, so that's great to hear that it was your recommendation! Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoy the rest of the Heading West Series. 😎👍
Again, loved the ride footage and the Escusalla estate was a treat.
The overgrown Escusalla estate was fascinating! Thanks for leaving a comment and we hope you enjoy the series. 😎👍
So glad that you guys have discovered a great life at a young age truly inspiring, may you have a million more miles of filmmaking to watch 👌
Thank you ever so much Julian. Priceless memories for sure 😊
That was really excellent Sean and Em! Very timely, as we’re going back to Ireland at the end of August to do the Gap of Dunloe - we’d heard about the horse and carts - guess we’ll have to set off early! Thanks again 😀👍
Don't ride the gap of dungloe without first travelling a few mile further down the road from Molls gap and taking a right turn for Ballaghbeama Gap, travel to the end of this and turn around and come back through it till you join the A road, turn left unto the A road back for molls Gap for 100mtrs and take a left down a single track , this will lead you to the first of the lakes of the black valley and will join further up with the road Sean and Emily were on, this is a gravel track with grass in the middle but safe. enjoy. better late in the evening when the golden hour casts it's shadows and the horse carts are finished for the day, slow and take it all in !
Hi, thanks very much!! 😊 That's great, we are sure you will have a great time. It's such a fun country to ride and lots of fun off the bike too. Can imagine the horse and carts must crowd that road towards midday so for sure get there early and you should be fine. Hope you have a great trip! 😊👍
Beautiful scenery .I done the ring kerry
Hi Paul, we hope you enjoyed the Ring of Kerry as much as we did! Some beautiful scenery in the area for sure and lots of places to explore. Thanks for watching 😎👍
Great stretch of road, obe for my bucket list. 🥰
Yeah for sure one for the list, really enjoyed this road. There is also lots of other similar ones in the area if one has more time. Thanks for watching. 😎👍
Rykas is not south east London, it’s in Surrey
Okay
I was looking forward to this one and it didn't disappoint 😀, Brilliant road and stunning landscape, it was definitely worth the wait, and worth while for you to wait for the next morning to truly appreciate it. Brilliant footage as usual, must have been tricky with the horse and carts and the walkers, Loved it!! :)
Hey Tim, we have been looking forwards to making this one too! Loved this place and as you say it was definitely worth riding this one the next day to appreciate it. Yeah I can imagine it only gets worse as the day goes on with those horse and carts. The pedestrians seem to think it's a footpath! Thanks 😊
@@SeanandEmily Definitely looked beautiful and the drone view, really gave a fantastic element to the film, tied it all together, with the brilliant on bike filming. Brill!!!! 🤩😀
Did this a few weeks ago, great ride.
Hi Peter, awesome! It really is a great ride!
Great to see the Gap again, we did this route 8 years ago and completely fell for motorcycle touring. We just promised ourselves we’d go back and do it again. Thanks for the great video your content gets better.
Hi, yeah the Gap of Dunloe is a place we will remember in years to come too. Hope you get to go back there again and experience it again. Thanks very much for your support -we really appreciate it and are glad to hear you enjoy them. S&E 😊👍
Looks great gear looks cool af
Cheers! 😎👍
Beautiful drone footage lovely video
Thanks Martin, glad you liked it 😎👍
Would make such a lovely change if it wasn't Kerry!!! There's more to Ireland than Kerry!! Typical boring video!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 catch yourself on!
Oi, my lovely brother in law is from Kerry🤣😜😉.
Just found you Guys departing from Cornwall (where I live)...now watching the above....makes me want to ride off on my motorbike 😉👌...excellent vlogs...informative...interesting! ...and excellently put together....look forward to following your adventures....Nos Dha from Cornwall
Hi Andrew, glad you found the channel and welcome 😊. That's a great place to live, we really enjoyed the ride through that area and was amazed by the coastline! Thanks very much for taking the time to leave an encouraging comment , it's most appreciated. We also leave a link to the route of each episode pinned in the comment section. We hope you enjoy the rest of the series and look forwards to hearing from you again. Nos Dha 😎👍
Hello both, I am really enjoying this series and also the commentary of interesting facts. One question is how do you get both of you on the video as tried several things and doesn't work. Thanks for taking us with you and ride safe.
Hi, thanks for watching and we are glad to hear you are enjoying the videos. We have a front mounted camera as you have probably already seen and Emily has a camera at the back too which she is constantly adjusting to suit whatever shot we need. 😎👍
@SeanandEmily Sorry to ask another but how do you do the audio?
Wireless Microphones from DJI 😉
I've planned this road in to the end of my 'Ring of Kerry' day... Starting and finishing at Kenmare. I decided that this would be a better route than the lakes of Killarney... I may add them on to the end of the 'Mountain ride'.
Hi, yeah we had planned this route too for the same day at the Ring of Kerry (see link in pinned comment) but as it started to rain we came back in the morning. It doesn't need much time and it's well worth it! Hope you have a great trip too! 👍
Excellent drone shots. The whole video is brilliant.
Thanks very much! Ireland is such an amazing country ...as you well know 😊
@@SeanandEmily It is. I do like to see how others see it also.
Yeah I guess it's easy sometimes to take things for granted that are so familiar. We really had a great time touring the country.
Cool vid, what jacket trousers and boots are you guys rocking, looks great. EDIT - found the jacket and trousers, Touratech rambler
Hi, your beat us to it 😊 Yeah that's correct -although the boots are from BMW as they don't do a size that fits Emily. Here's the video of us trying them on: ruclips.net/video/HBi9llMO_zs/видео.htmlsi=aEfRjxPN2N0iCvRl Thanks for watching
@@SeanandEmily Nice thanks for the link!
What a gem this road is! It is one of the coolest roads i have ever seen. Thank you for sharing this with us.🙂
Hi Johan, yeah we loved this little road. So glad we decided to go back for it. You're very welcome as always 😊👍
Riding a fully loaded GSA with pillion and top box on those roads is very impressive! Your videography is better and better also.
Hi Robert, thanks very much -kind of iused to it after all these miles 😊 but in truth the bike handles really well and is easy to ride -even fully loaded. Great to hear you are enjoying the videography. 👍
What an adventure that road was! Thanks for sharing 😊
Yeah we really like that one, there were actually lots and lots of other similar roads in the area but as always time didn't allow, still nice to have new routes to look forwards to when returning. Thanks for watching 😎👍
Pretty spectacular landscape.
Hi Bill, yeah it really is. The landscape is very unique -so glad we went back to ride this road as we missed it the previous day due to the weather. Nice to hear from you as always 😎👍
What a landscape 😊
Yeah spectacular Ireland! 😎
What a magnificant scenic road. I would like to ride there, but with much sidecar passing could be a challenge.😎👍
Hi Ruud, yeah a really scenic road and really atmospheric with the colours of the land. Yeah it was tight at times but I think you would be okay with the sidecar. 😎👍
Thank you again, it's been a great vicarious tour, so far.
You're very welcome and we appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Really glad to hear you are enjoying the tour. 😎👍
Beautiful couple ride on travel and interesting experiences
Thanks very much 😊 Ireland has been a wonderful place to explore.
Its looking so good and so much more developed since i saw it last! So looking forward to the next visit xx
That's interesting that you have noticed the changes. The road surface was fantastic and plenty of pull in places too. We are already looking forwards to returning too 😊👍
Ireland just keeps on giving..! What an incredible place.. Another great video guys. Love the drone footage through the valley etc.. Fantastic..! 👍🏼👍🏼
Yeah it really does and it continued to do so 😊 Yeah the Gap of Dunloe really is a great ride, so glad we went back to it. Thanks for your encouraging comment and we hope you enjoy the rest of the series 😎👍
Another amazing episode guys ❤- with the now obligatory terrific drone footage, hoping to do a similar route soon after the touristy period over, unfortunately without an attractive pillion to supervise ;) ))
Thanks Duncan, this place was very photogenic! Yeah i can imagine this place gets packed during the peak seasons ...there was already a fair few pony rides going on bringing pedestrians to the roads lol. 😎👍

Looking forward to the series ❤

Excellent...... Plenty of viewing for me. Thanks 👍
Enjoy 😎👍🏻
Im learning how to pillion and these tips helped but do you have any more tips because they really help me
That's great to hear, I'm sure there's plenty of tips throughout the channel. But perhaps we should make a video dedicated to it when we get time 😊

Thanks, not easy to keep on top of all these place names 😉. Still a long way to go with this series 😊
Tuned in for the riding scenery. Stuck around for the history.
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Another great video, nice find that peninsular down that single track road, where was that? One of my wifes friend's had their wedding pictures taken at Ross Beigh Castle, very picturesque area. I see you went through Killorglin as well, thats a nice little town.
Thanks Gavin, it was called Ross-Behy (there's a link to a route map in the first pinned comment in case you need it). A great backdrop for wedding pictures 😊. Lot's of really nice little towns dotted about -would have been nice to have more time to explore them.
Sean. All well and good but ….. I’m touring Europe at the moment at temperatures of 25 to 30 + in a lightweight goretex suit. I would die off if I put that on top and I’m sure you would as well. Ask Emily to wear one when it’s 30+ and then let us know your thoughts 👍
We live in Switzerland and last week it was 36 degrees. In temperatures above 25 we always wear a fully vented suit as Gore-Tex just blocks too much of the wind even with some vents. As this Airbag contains it's own back protector one can remove the stock one from the jacket making it lighter and even more breathable. We do wear them when it's hot and don't find it too hot, they are not tight to the body when not inflated so the wind flows through them too.
Great video. What was the name of the hotel in Ronda with the wonderful balcony? : )
Thanks, the Hotel is called Hotel Don Miguel 😊 Great hotel but from what I remember it had an early check out and very rude staff on the front desk.
