    16:30 Mahabaleshwar is one of the famous hill station. In winter the temperature of Mahabaleshwar is -1 to 0 cl. You also try strawberry in Mahabaleshwar. Location is famous for strawberry

      That’s wrong information. Temperatures usually don’t go down below 10 degrees. It’s a hill station but isn’t that high, like the ones you find in the North India.

    3 things to help you guys
    1- speed limit usually only works in major cities and highways, if you can go 70 and it’s open road go through the road at your will but be safe
    2- for the food try always having hot food freshly made it’s unlikely you will get disturbed stomach if the food is fresh and hot, for spice level ask them to make it less spicy and have some yogurt with , it will taper the spice level down.
    3- honking is the language here don’t be afraid to use it.

    Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and other Himalayan states are amazing for bike rides. Ladakh even has the world’s highest motorable road-higher than Everest Base Camp! If you’re looking for quieter spots, Sikkim and the Northeast are great and still pretty unexplored. For a chill island vibe, check out the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. And if you’re in South India, Lakshadweep, near Kerala, is like a mini-Maldives.

Please choose your stays in advance to avoid such unpleasant experiences and then you’ll be in for a pleasant surprises. As a fellow traveler and a big Queen fan, I wanted to share a fun fact: Did you know that Freddie Mercury, the legendary frontman of Queen, studied at St. Peter's School in Panchgani, near Mahabaleshwar, when he was just eight years old? Interestingly, the road you passed through in Mahabaleshwar is just 250-300 meters from the school! Such a cool connection to this beautiful region. Safe travels and keep sharing your adventures!

    This is as it's happening. Totally get the fatigue when doing these stressful rides. Eyes as much on the road behind, as much as in front. Hardly a second to enjoy the experience of the tour and Emily, your spot on regarding the pillion riders. If you were to ask each of the two on the same bike doing the same tour.. you wouldn't think they had done it together as it's a completely different experience for each of them. Think this was your toughest day yet. Well done. Keep it going as it's great for us to watch it in the comfort of our homes. 👍👍👍👍

For vegetarian food eat at South Indian restaurants. Order idli sambar with sambar separate, masala dosa without chillies, even red chillies, tell the waiter very mild food, mo chillies, order yogurt or raita to cool down your stomach from any masala or chillies, order a vegetarian thali. Biking across central India is very challenging, people usually go across the northern regions near Himalayas for bike tours.

    Hey Sean & Emily,
    Just chanced upon your video at the BMW showroom in Mumbai.
    I'm an avid Biker myself. My one tip for you if you wish to have successful rides in India. Be prepared for the unexpected, esp in smaller towns & villages - wrong side riding/driving, helmet less riders, triple/quadruple people on a motorcycle, normal/usual signals rarely work, only the horn does & /hand signals.
    Avoid night time travels as sadly, there are quite a few crazies (driving under the influence etc). The more remote you decide to go, you could lose network on your mobile, street lights are almost non existent. You guys are rather bold to dare to venture on Indian roads esp coming from a place where people buy & large do follow rules!! Ride safe & tc!! Cheers!!

    Guys, i think you have to plan for food more than anything else on an india trip, as its a different cuisine.
    1) I would suggest read a few quora answers on what foreigners eat in india. Based on preferences and make stops accordingly.
    2) I would suggest Eat Hot tiffins or rice with curries in good restaurants (there are many on major highways) which has good reviews, you can carry roti's from those restaurants as takeaway for your trip. Like aloo paratha i think you will like it. Happy Journey.

    Mahabaleshwar is the most famous hill station in Maharashtra. Its pronounced as Maha-Bale-Shwa-r
    Often crowded with tourists from Mumbai and Pune with lot of good hotels to stay.
    If you feel unwell during the journey, eat plain rice and Dal fry. Its available everywhere and easy to digest for stomach
    Roads in Konkan and entire western ghats are challenging due to road construction and land slides in Monsoon.
    Eat light food when travelling through road with so many turns.

    Remember that India realistically has "no rules", so when someone cuts you off or tries to throw some legal rules at you, Do not worry. Riding along even with our own super bike group, we are at mercy of the villagers and common crowd, in most situations they will help. So keep a track of police stations for your own safety and take shelter only when you think it's an approved place. Please avoid random camping. Find hotels, don't hesitate to spend on a local guide before arriving in northern cities.
    Cheers and safe travels !

    Thanks for another great episode. Kudos to you both for churning out well edited videos on top of everything else you're doing. 👏👏 Take it easy and don't rush. Expect the unexpected, while it might be tempting to enjoy the twisties, not everyone understands they need to drive on their side of the road, and there are always those who are in a rush for no reason, who overestimate their driving skills. So be careful of the cagers. And always make sure you food is steaming hot that will help reduce the chance of picking up a bug. Any fruit where you can peel the skin off should be good oranges, bananas, sweet limes etc will help replenish some of your body salts you're losing to sweat. Stay well, stay safe and have fun. Cheers
    P.S. try wetting your Ts before putting on your jackets, makes a helluva diff in the heat, also helps on the head if you can lay your hands on bicycle cooling skull caps
    P.P.S. Wait till you ride through Laos they redefine potholes there.... you could lose a bike in one of them

      Laos sounds like quite the adventure; we'll brace ourselves for those legendary potholes when we get there. 😅 Thanks again for your support and for sharing such practical tips-stay safe, and we hope you enjoy the upcoming episodes!

    Your India experience is a mix of very pleasant and the opposite! Maybe get stocked up on safe snacks from a shop like the one you bought water from, which looked perfect. I can imagine the tension from keeping your eyes everywhere, plus the heat, until it cools right down in the evening. It’s a pity you can’t wear a little mask under your helmet you can pull up when following smelly vehicles! How wonderful to see those delightful monkeys, so road wise too. Anyway, your vlogs are very entertaining and enjoyable.

    • @SeanandEmily
      @SeanandEmily  23 дня назад +1

      Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! 😊 You’re absolutely right-it’s been a mix of highs and challenges, but that’s what makes the experience so memorable. Stocking up on snacks is such a good idea; those little shops have been lifesavers but some bigger supermarkets would be even better! The heat and constant focus while riding can definitely get intense, but the cooler evenings are a welcome relief.
      A mask under the helmet is such a smart suggestion-we might have to try that for those smoky moments behind trucks! And yes, those monkeys were amazing to watch; they’re so clever and seem to know the roads better than us! Thanks for joining us on this journey and for your kind words-it means so much to us!

    Guys please carry a hydration bag while riding in India. You should be getting those in @Decathlon in Goa. As a biker myself I can't stress enough on how important that is in India. That will save you a lot of time and with adventure helmets, it's easy to sip some water quickly without getting off the bike and taking your helmets off

    • @SeanandEmily
      @SeanandEmily  24 дня назад +1

      We preferer to have multiple stops to talk and to have cold water from the vendors -there's really no Shortage of people selling cold water and we keep one in the bike just in case. Hydration bags are a good idea though for the cooler climates.
