I just want to tell you that you are so talented!!! I am so thankful that you have made these videos - especially, the wedding dresses. I am about to make my little sister’s wedding dress & your videos are SO helpful. I can’t wait to see you do more videos - so, I hope you continue. You have the best videos I could find for making dresses. You are a blessing!!!!
Very good tutorial. I just don't know how to measure "inner shoulder to princess seam" on the shoulder slope. I got a little confused at that point at 1:06. You said you have a bodice measurement class. I may take that one day.
Can you do me a huge favor? Can you make a video on how to make a sequin gown just from a pattern and not draping? I get so confused on making patterns. (Or just a blouse). You're my fave! 💖😊
@@MomthatSews Yes. Draping is so easy to understand. My confusions comes when the math comes in. Some of the numbers you guys estimate here and there. And I'm like, where did that come from....? You know, things like that. The pattern expansion was real tricky for me. I had to stop watching until the next day. I was tired though. I think I'm just psyching myself out of doing it. IDK....
It looks like the two side seams are differed lengths once you have the adjustments. Do you stretch the back to fit the front when sewing the side seam? Thanks.
Wow I never thought of that I thought we have to use different papers for making patterns but thank you I'm looking forward for your tutorial more patterns and sewing skills 💯💯💯💯
hey - i followed these steps but there is an error for my arm hole and connecting it to the line on the size. 18cm is half the circumference of my arm hole but it is till too short - im so stuck
out of so many videos your the only one who showed workings out and made me not stress as much x
Ok. You explained this very well. I had to stop freaking out about making patterns and viewed it again! Tty tomorrow!
❤️❤️❤️
Do you have a video on how to take the measurements? That would be helpful.❤
Brilliant 👏
Hey there! I have my bodice already done for non stretchy fabric. I was wondering how to ajuste my bodice for stretchy materiel? Thank you!!

It’s so hard to explain in a comment but yes my class shows in detail.
Absolutely love this. Your amazing thank you so much for inspiring me
how do you cut knit fabrics? love the video!
That was I trying to figure out...she didn’t share really the contrast of cutting the pattern on knit fabric...🤷🏾♀️
Looking forward to this series/sleeves etc! For woven fabrics we'd just disregard the negative ease part right?
Right and you would also add regular ease and you may need to add a dart
@@MomthatSews got it! Keep up the awesome content. Love that its technical mixed with experience freestyle!
Thank you! Will do!
Thank you for this video. It was a little hard to follow because of the cutting pad under the tracing paper(too many lines)but I will view it again.
Yes I have noticed that lately. I will workin on a solution to this. Thank you Greta.
Mom that Sews no problem. I’m on your channel now. Your videos are good young lady😘

I'd like to see one that you've done. I understand how to see from a commercial pattern.
