Tank of a fish Tom, right time right place. Fantastic fish on a lure. I've got close to the magic double on a lure, to my mind it's the pinnacle of sea angling and great to see she is still swimming. It's a personal thing and I never judge. Tite lines dude.

First outing with it. Very impressed. Kept the uv off and helped keep me cool. I've got the other one with the built-in snood to try next time, too. I've worn uv clothing for a number of years and would recommend them to everyone.
If you're fishing in Christchurch harbour I'd highly recommend using a baited mepps spinner. This was you can catch the mullet along with bass and the odd flounder. Check out some of our mullet spinning videos. Lots of fun.

What a beauty, the shoals around at the moment are crazy.
They are mate! But really struggled for anything sizeable! Unusual for our area. I'm sure it'll be different on my next trip!

Thanks mate. No, the wind was in the east. The fishing was much harder than usual, so we blamed that!
