It was all great how the ingredients were painstakingly prepared and mixed together in harmony and oh so carefully. Then someone slapped down some processed American cheese slices into the cake and it all went down hill from there.
I will try this using fruit puree mix in cream cheese for the middle cake. I'll figure out to get the creamy texture to smooth on top of the half batter. Enjoyable video.

Mascarpone, the word is mascarpone, the "r" is misplaced, like most (american) english speakers pronounce it wrong (not sure though why). I completely agree with you on the GROSS factor. The cheese slices really make the thought of it revolting. And I am sure your cream cheese and mascarpone filling will make it a whole lot nicer!
Excellent step by step. Birds singing in the background are wonderful. I would definitely substitute a lemon custard filling rather than American cheese. What a shock to see the cheese slices added to a beautiful sweet spongecake.

I am not japanese so I wont try to tell you how to cook a japanese cheesecake. Im all about learning new things but as we have beautiful cheese varieties in Australia I think I will choose one of those. Looking forward to trying this unusual recipe thank you
