- Hello, and welcome back to another video.
We're ringing in the new year with a new edition starter set. Today we unwrap the new Ultimate Starter Set for Warhammer 40,000 and discover whether it earns it's name.
I tried to get this under 30mins but no matter how much I cut, it still stayed over 40mins. But happily got it to 35 for you all. Looking back at it there are other parts I could have cut, long pauses etc.

RUclips suggested your video. Nicely done for such a small channel. Bought the same starter set right before new year. I promised my girlfriend that I wouldn't buy any more models for the rest of the year. (which admitted was a bit lame on 29th of december :P)

That's the best time to make that promise 🤣 I'm trying not to spend but so far been failing terribly.
Never painted a 40k model, what would you suggest I start with?
Personally, I'd suggest a space marine. They're usually 100% armour, and you can get great results with minimal paints and effort.
If you want something more challenging but still simple, try an Astra Militarum or Leagues of Votann model that has a nice mix or organic and manufactured textures.

@blackdicegamingltd good plan. For added value, get some paints and buy the space marine paint set. Comes with some models and the paints to get a basic result.
