Does the 'Contemporary' clock face work on this model? The original Lenovo Smart clocks have a bug that make the 'Contemporary' clock face just appear black, and those are basically the same device.
@@TechReflex Wow, so they somehow have a software on the new clock that has this bug fixed. It's so strange that they haven't pushed it to the old clocks which are VIRTUALLY the same (same specs, and 99% the same software). When you go into the clock's settings (gear icon) and then 'About device', what are the build, software, and firmware versions for your V2 clock?
I now have google home nest mini and i use routines to wake me at a time of the day and lights go on etc. Can you change routines on the display of this clock so i can change the time when i need?? Thanks!
I haven't been able to find ANY information on the charging speed. Lenovo's site doesn't say. No one mentions it on the videos or reviews. I'm hoping it does at least 20W charging.
It's now 19.99 with the dock. I bought it, but I wish it casted videos (some songs are not available on music apps). I wish there was a workaround to that.
1. Do a currency conversion 2. Click on small disclaimer text 3. It'll take you to browser, which will open up a Google page 4. Now you have access to all Google services (but you can't sign in as it doesn't have a keyboard).
Oh I figure it out. I just made a currency info then boom some tricks then saw youtube but like every 2 minutes it just stops and go back to the home screen
I'm planning to buy the first gen of this, for 3400rs. I don't think there is any difference apart from the wireless charging . What are your thoughts?
Yeah, first gen is still as good as this. It has rear facing speakers, instead of front on this, but otherwise, there isn't that much of a difference. And it also has a USB port for wired charging.
I bought one for my desk and it's been really good(not distracting). However I haven't been able to get the charging dock with the clock. Now when I try to order the charging dock by itself there is no product on lenovo's page. I think that they are going to only release it when the Amazon version accessories come out. Hopefully it won't be overpriced for just the charging dock. Overall this has been a good comprehensive review.
My biggest disappointment would be not to be able to choose an yt music as an alarm, which Google clock's app can. We have a clock on this, it can stream music on yt music but can't do both
I wanted something like this for my desk, however it's overpriced in India :( Might have to pay upward of 7k for this, and I'm not comfortable with that at all. Sorry Lenovo!
Damn I'm on my third review vid for this product and yours is the first to tell me what I wanted
Good review bro and this looks gorgeous. Like Amazon, even Lenovo has started using mediatek chipsets in the smart speakers. Good job.
Thanks. :)
The smart clock 2 is a top device with a robust mediatek chip in it. Nice review!
Thanks.
Thank you for the brightness demonstration

No, the contemporary clock face works fine on this, and it looks quite good. Not sure if I showed it in video.

MagSafe seems to work. Idk if it’s an actual feature, but it does seem to work.

I was confused between this and Echo Show 5 since both are powered by Mediatek and now this review has answered my questions. Thanks.
Welcome. :)
how is the fast charging in terms of the time it takes to charge newer phones....?
I haven't been able to find ANY information on the charging speed. Lenovo's site doesn't say. No one mentions it on the videos or reviews. I'm hoping it does at least 20W charging.
2:37 how do I get to that menu to control the night light?
Bro i m also looking for a smart clock for my room. suggest one in low budget
I've only seen a 'smart clock' from Lenovo, you can check out echo show 5, that can be around 4-5K on sale.
Get its first generation

Where??? ..it’s not 19.99!
Can you control dock light by voice command?
I was wondering how did you websearch. I have one and I don't know how to do it. Please guide and help

@@TechReflex but thanks for the quick response
Today I upgraded my oneplus 6 to a s21fe. I think op6 was the best oneplus phone ever produced.
I also used to have it. Its still working well, except for its 60hz refresh rate.
Hi.. Does wireless charger is compatable for iphone 14
Thank you, I ordered the one without wireless charging and wasn't sure if I would be able to use the screen as a wake up light.
:)

@@TechReflex I think echo 5 at 5000rs is also a good deal. It can show date as well. And the screen is 5.5 inches.
Yeah, that's a good alternative too, even though I prefer Google assistant.
Can the wireless dock charge iPhone 12 ?
Yeah
@@TechReflex will it charge iphone 14..?
@@joycemary8216 yeah
Thanks for the review. I saw this at Walmart recently.
I don’t want the clock to dim when I turn out the light, but it won’t do that.
How can I buy in india
Does lenovo clock has USB port or the charger dock has USB port ?
Charger dock

Super unboxing ⏰
Can it show my email, message notifications?
The most exciting thing about it is that you can hack it to then run any Android app on it
Can it play RUclips TV?
No
Maybe I’m just dumb but i can’t set it up 😭
How did you get to the browser?
As it to do a currency conversion, click on disclaimer, it'll open the browser. Now you can clock in Google menu icon in top right and browse web.

Yeah, 3.7K for the clock alone like the international pricing does make it a more sensible option.
The wireless charger is not working sadly
Nice intro
Thanks 🙂
no date is a bit lame
I think its a waste of money. It looks good but doesn't fullfil anything else that your phone/computer can't do.
Looks cool though.
People do spend a lot of money things just because they look good.
It should have sAMOLED display.

Can it also connect to Spotify? Thanks
