My girlfriend and me went to this glacier in the late seventies. We were awe struck . Thank you for your video as it has brought back some very fond memories. I would love to go back with my husband so he could experience the awesomeness and beauty. Thank you again.💖
Yes it has changed a lot. It was bigger but the fact that it’s still there and is being watched over and has a guide to take you to it is still awesome and something I would like to do again.
I’ve loved your Alaska series! You are sharing sights that I’ve never seen before. You and Pops put the work in getting to these spots and we get to enjoy them. Thank you!
Man I love your videos. I wish my dad was alive so we could’ve shared in our own explorations but hopefully my son and I will get the chance too!!! Alaska looks amazing!!
Awesome video. Loved it!! When we had been there in 2019, there was a self guided tour as well which was lot more fun than the guided tour we took the previous day. In Guided tour they really showed us very limited area in the glacier. If you go on a self guided tour you can explore much more and even see the ice caves and will not be restricted by your tour guide. But you have to be careful on self guided tour though.
I was just here last week! We did the Lion's Head Hike instead of going onto the actual glacier though. The trail is a bit informal, but the views into the valley are stunning. Great video, it's cool to see the glacier up close like that.
F do I’d the guide talk about glacial flour, the murky and milky appearance of the glacial water? I love the blue tinge to glaciers and glacier fed waters like in glsvier national park. What a glorious hike. How awesome that you got to see a moose! Amazing !
Great clip! I saw this glacier during a visit in 2012 but only from the observation point you mentioned at the end of your clip. Would have loved to have had the experience of actually hiking it. Perhaps next time.
Wow, when we went it was free and got to go wherever you wanted and it looks like they didn’t take you guys go the most prettiest places because the crevasses were so dangerous. Went in 2016 with my wife and we were the only ones there.
Just a reminder. The glacier isnt privately owned, the access road you used us. And the tour company leases that private drive and access. But Beautiful none the less.
I love your videos and the whole lotta information you share. Looking at this video I wanted to know if it’s doable with a 2.5 yrs old toddler in mid September?
I used a shot or 2 but I was pressed for time and it was longer workflow to export the footage so that is why I didn't use it much. I hope to use it a lot more in the future.
I love your videos man! I subscribed. Do you mind me asking what video editor you use? I am new to making videos and I have been struggling to find a good video editor!
In the end probably a good thing so it gets protected and preserved as best as possible while people still get to visit. It's like a zoo for frozen moving water 😊
This is one of the best videos on RUclips I've ever seen.
Oh. Wow. Absolutely stunning!! Beautiful filming as always. Not sure how I’d do on ice, I can fall on smooth, dry pavement! Loved watching this.
So beautiful! Really glad you included the info about the blue ice as I was wondering myself.
That glacier looks so amazing Josh! Nice camera work & thanks for sharing you & your pops hike. I'm loving your Alaska videos!

That is awesome! I am sure it has changed a lot since then!

Man I love your videos. I wish my dad was alive so we could’ve shared in our own explorations but hopefully my son and I will get the chance too!!! Alaska looks amazing!!
That must have been an awesome experience being able to walk on the Glacier and drinking right from it
Wow that is absolutely a stunning glacier in Alaska. Great video as always with you and your dad so keep up the great work good sir.

We are thinking of doing this next March.

You're welcome 😊
I was there in July of this year it was amazing

.001 of the glacier, it’s better than no glacier 🤪😊 And Pops excitement when you reached the top, was contagious 🤣 I want to go to Alaska now!
Great video you have inspired me to go here
i got this on my bucket list and the Virginia city nevada, subbed
I would have loved it if you swam across to the glacier!
F do I’d the guide talk about glacial flour, the murky and milky appearance of the glacial water? I love the blue tinge to glaciers and glacier fed waters like in glsvier national park. What a glorious hike. How awesome that you got to see a moose! Amazing !
Awesome awesome awesome wow!!
Just discovered your channel due to the Alaskan vids you've been posting & I hope you continue the series. Subscribed to follow along!

Awesome. Thank you so much
Which tour guide did you use ?
Simply AMAZING!!! And by the way. You and your father looks like a "Minion" while wearing those helmets.
Thanks for sharing. My cousin just moved to Fairbanks to play Basketball.
That was awesome!! Great video!! Looks like u got to do a lot in Alaska!!
Smashing - good advice to bring poles - and a camera!
We went to Exit Glacier near Seward several years ago. It is beautiful. We did not walk on it, though.
That's awesome! Exit Glacier is my video for next week!
Just a reminder. The glacier isnt privately owned, the access road you used us. And the tour company leases that private drive and access. But Beautiful none the less.
take care of your dad.
Great video !! Thank You !!!
This makes me glad I'm subbed to you........ Thanks for sharing!!!
God's Earth is so beautiful 😍
This is soooooo epic!! 🤩
I was just there in July
LOved your video, thank you!!! where did you book your guided tour? at the entry of the glacier? thanks,
Which was the tour company you used?
Can you tell me who you used as your guide service?
Did you ever find out? Wondering the same
Speechless. All I can say is the closest I’ve been to a glacier is Assassin’s Creed and I need to change that. 🤣
which tour did you book? Did you have to pay for glacier access separately or $65 is all you paid per person?
Wondering the same! Did you ever find out? I'm still browsing comments ;)
very nice
In which month you have been there
I love your videos and the whole lotta information you share. Looking at this video I wanted to know if it’s doable with a 2.5 yrs old toddler in mid September?
Curious why you didn't use any of your Insta360. Did you have problem with the camera or its app.
Thanks for sharing once again.
I used a shot or 2 but I was pressed for time and it was longer workflow to export the footage so that is why I didn't use it much. I hope to use it a lot more in the future.
What month did u go?
Don you need a four wheel drive car to get there?
Which month of the year was this?
Did you get a guide there or did you pre-arrange for a guided tour?
So the Glacier is inside a private property?
Is this the 2-3 hours tour? Seems quite easy but a bit short
Would you recommend for a 79yo active senior? My dad and I are going this July.
Wow
WOW❣️
I love your videos man! I subscribed. Do you mind me asking what video editor you use? I am new to making videos and I have been struggling to find a good video editor!
Great video! The helmet sizes should from now on be: Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, Pops
@Sverre Wiik That is so true! Haha!
hello Peace
It looks so small but then you see how small the people are when they stay on top 😅😅😅😅
Wtf. Why is it privately owned? It should be illegal to own glaciers.
My thought exactly
In the end probably a good thing so it gets protected and preserved as best as possible while people still get to visit. It's like a zoo for frozen moving water 😊
No one owns the glacier. There’s only one access point to walk on the glacier which is privately owned so they charge to get to it
Glaciers dissapear in some time
Came here on my honeymoon.
Which month did you visit ?
