    🎉POLL TIME! You have to choose between seeing whales or seeing a glacier. Which do you choose?!? 🤔😬

      Very tough to choose. But everyone should get a chance, so they'd fully appreciate what we have to loose. Both were stunning to see.

    That's a fun cruise. If you're here next summer you should tent camp or stay in one of the cabins out in Aialik Bay.
    That salmon dinner is so delicious.

Will visit Talkeetna and Seward due to inspiration from you guys. We will be making a few RUclips Videos while we are there. Would love to talk before we travel. Thank you for all you do! We went to Seward 7 days or so after the earthquake nothing hardly left at all, just like Valdez had to move both towns to higher ground.

    The “background” music is well chosen but covers up the narrative.

    • @ArtWeThereYet
      @ArtWeThereYet  Год назад

      This is such good feedback - thank you! If I can ask - was there a certain spot (or spots) in which the music was particularly too loud?

      @@ArtWeThereYetfrom 3:30 on it covers up quieter parts of the narrative when your voice drops down.

    Im sure ive missed it, but which tour did you take? I had almost decided against Kenai Fjords before watching this wonderful video. Thank you!

      Hi Brenda!
      So this episode was filmed on the full day w/ Fox Island trip with Kenai Fjords Tours. BUT we actually recommend the full day tour with Major Marine (I'm including the link below). This episode was filmed in summer 2023, and while this tour was AMAZING, we went out on the Major Marine tour in summer 2024 and actually preferred it. They are basically the same tour; both go into Kenai Fjords National Park and enter Aialik Bay. The key difference is that the Major Marine tour (the one we recommend) skips the stop at Fox Island and instead visits TWO tidewater glaciers (Aialik and Holgate). They are about the same price as well.
      We preferred the Major Marine tour because:
      1) Seeing two tidewater glaciers is pretty incredible. It doubles your chances of seeing glacier calving, plus Aialik had seals hauled out on icebergs, which was amazing to see! (We went in June). Plus you go deeper into Aialik Bay and see more of the coastline.
      2) While the stop at Fox Island was a little interesting, it was pretty rushed and we really didn't have much time to do anything except get off the boat, eat, then get back on. In the end, we felt the stop at Fox Island cut into our time on the water and in the park.
      I hope this is helpful! Here is the link to the tour we recommend: vi.me/xGb1X
      Wave hello to the Kenai Fjords for us! We already miss Seward and Resurrection Bay SO MUCH....

    The Alaska segments are all breathtaking. I would only add one suggestion, the background music must be picked so that it does not overpower Cora's voice. This latest segment I lost a lot of the films narration because the piano music was playing too loud so as to overpower Cora's narration.

    • @ArtWeThereYet
      @ArtWeThereYet  Год назад

      Thank you so much for this feedback - I (Cora) struggled with the audio on this one. Can I ask a favor? Can you tell me if you felt the narration was overpowered throughout the whole episode, or was it only during certain parts? Thank you for your help! 🙏

    • @WILLIAMBRUSHJR
      @WILLIAMBRUSHJR Год назад

      The audio was overpowering on certain parts during the narration. I would suggest that you preview each episode with music/narration prior to "publishing" the episode. It is a shame to have any portion of such hard work and such a wonderful program have any imperfections at all.😀 @@ArtWeThereYet

      Thank you for letting me know!! This is really good feedback. Can I ask if there was a place (or series of places) where it felt particularly too loud? This will help me so much in going back to the production file and analyzing the levels!
