At 50 silver a salvage just vendoring the random parts and destroying the crafting materials is profitable. You get 3.5 (87.5 silver vendor) random parts on avg at an 80 silver cost. I’ve tested it multiple times, it’s profitable but requires a good amount of gold to invest.
What happens if you only have gathering prof? Do you only get the parts?
I'm not sure haven't tested that myself. Depending in Grime price on your server just straight vendoring the parts at 25s could be worth it too

Definitely less fun than opening all the boxes and praying to RNGesus but good information either way.
