Hi Tony, Great video and great tips for the builders, only one caveat check the spark plug gap before installation. Us old guys can look at a plug and see if gap is close. But say a new builder gets a plug that somehow has had the gap closed and doesn't catch it, he'll be pulling his hair out trying to figure out why it won't start or runs bad. Great video and excellent tips and instructions. Looking forward to the start day.
Tony, I just have to give great thanks for the knowledge, entertainment and inspiration to build bikes. It's truly been a remarkable experience to learn from you. I'll share pics to your (bikeberry) social media
New subscriber. Finishing up my second successful build. Thanks for the tips. I also am waiting for weather to get better up here in Idaho. I also like zip ties but, honestly I think your build has too many. Sorry. Maybe switch to white zips? I dunno. Thanks again.
Mine out of box won't start. Comp seems good. Fuel air seems good. Spark is thin but blue. Should it have a better spark? Bought 2. Switched cdi. Megnito. No change. Any tips?
My question is about that wire for lights that virtually every video says clip or tie off. So why is that. Has to be some practical use. Would it maintain a charge in a battery? I'm lost.
I don’t have personal experience with utilizing the extra wire on other engines. But I’ve seen other channels experimenting with charging batteries as I believe it’s just not enough to do the job. Plus it robs the engine of power. Let me know if you run any experiments.
Great tips and I love the look of the cdi harness where you have it, I have a old Gary Fisher hookoo e koo mountain bike I put my engine on but I have been having some bad luck but I think I figured it out and as soon as the stuff I ordered from the site gets in I should have it all fixed. Thanks for the videos to show how to #builditright. Great video as always and hope it stops snowing there so we can see this beauty run
Nice.I'll have to look for that loom.I use sealant on the wires, and seal the hole the wires come out of the magneto too.No water to corrode.#BuildItRight
I'm thinking about making motorized bicycle since i was in the 7th grade now almost a decade later i still didn't build one but now i fund this channel again and i really want to make one you Convinced me but it's not that easy for me because of financial problems that always keep pushing my dream away from me i really hope that some day is going to be not a dream anymore.
@@meco72104 hey man they said I won too. It's a scammer who high jacked the competition. He'll tell you congratulations u win the bike then ask you to send money for shipping. If you notice he replied to your comment on the last video telling you to contact a number above. Well the number is tied to a Google account. It's not an actual cell phone.
@@tonytaylor5087 you should know. Someone is high jacking your build of giveaway on your last videos comment section. They tried telling me I won the bike and asked me to pay 150 bucks in shipping.
