    Sometimes though, it CAN be the environment, the people, society, cost of living, climate. Living in the uk, the climate is so unpleasant that that alone drives me to look at emigrating.

      For sure, all those things can contribute to overwhelm! For me, if I focus on the things out of my control, my head spirals pretty quickly, so I turn my attention to the things I CAN control and make whatever improvements I can :)
