After I recovered from cancer, I decided to get more fit but wanted to have fun. I did lots of research and landed on one of your early videos. It helped me decide I wanted to try hooping; I never had. I started the day of my 53rd birthday. That was a year and a half ago. Your tutorials have been part of my journey every step of the way. I'm now working with two hoops & recently started fire spinning! I just wanted to thank you for sharing your time and talent. I never imagined, when I picked it up, what a profound effect spinning would have on my life. Merci et bonne journée!
This is truly incredible. What a beautiful and courageous step you took to embrace life in full motion and colour. You are an inspiration!! So happy to be connected this way!
Hi Deanne....well I am still here trying to keep my hoop up without dropping it. I must admit I am getting better. I think as I haven't really exercised for so long it is just a question of keep moving to loosen up. I am 64 but these days that is young. So...........I have had a lot of fun with this combo this morning....wow ... talk about loosening up...great job. OK lasso was really funny to start with...it went flying across the room like a frisbee. After a few attempts I got it...by the time I did about 30 repeats of this combo I was really pleased with myself that I got it. I didn't come up with a combo yet as I just want to keep this set in my head for now and keep practicing. I love this. Getting my body moving again and laughing at myself when it goes a bit wrong. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I will keep going. x
I love that you are moving and grooving...and most of all having fun! It sounds like you are having a blast. This was such a beautiful message to read. Keep playing!!
I just made a new combo with these cards. Lasso - Escalator - Weave - Smear - Bounce. Fun! I'm ready for your next combo card video. I am loving this series.
I mixed up the cards and came up with this combo: Escalator, weave, bounce, smear and lasso. I am looking forward to your next combo tutorial! This was fun! I have the cards, but I like having your help how to do the moves and put them together. So, Thank you! I am also one of your online students at Learn.Hooplovers.TV and follow you on Instagram and Facebook as well. I found out about the combo cards from one of your FB Stories a week or so ago and got them right away. Love them!
I started doing this earlier this year with lots of success! It’s easy to fall into habits and get stuck creatively. I also made hoop challenge cards for instance “hoop while sitting in a chair,” “hoop with someone watching,” “learn a new trick,” “film a hoop tutorial.” I also had a big mirror (which since broke) that had all of my goal tricks written on it to keep me motivated and reminded of what I wanted to learn. Thanks for the video!!
Thank you!! I have been wanting to learn how to do combos and transitions, and this is the BEST video by far that I have seen! And trust me, I have seen a lot of tutorial videos❤
This is so great. I learn hooping in March this year. But the off body hooping is new for me. I love it and you explain this so fantastic. I am 51 Years old, and I want to learn it. An with your Creations is it possible.I live in Germany. Much Greatings and thank you so much 😘👍
Great video! I love your stuff and you have helped me so much on my hoop journey. The shut the door transition opens up so much more for me. Thank you for everything you do!
Thank youuuuu 🙌🙌 your videos are so helpful! I love how you always break down the basic moves first, and the way you explained transitioning between each move has really transformed my flow ❤️
Another great video, Deanne. Congrats on +100K followers. I've been using this technique in my flow for years. It's a great way to come up with new combos and create new muscle memory!
I love how you simplify the moves so I don't feel like a totally uncoordinated dork, haha .. trying to follow other flow-y hoopers can be a bit daunting 😁
quick questions slightly different topic but what platform do you use to host your online hoop classes and programs? it works super good and easy to use which is important for me to be able to offer to my clients. Much love! PS super excited about these combo cards :)
Hi everyone, I am brand new to hula-hooping and I can't get the hoop to stay up, I keep trying the various ways, but I can't do it. Can it be done with a smaller hoop? I think this might be my problem, as my hoop is 69cm and the one in the videos is 100cm - is that my problem? Or is it just because I simply can't hula no matter what? Help!🙄
