Hi Deanne! I just want to say thank you for posting these combo videos. I just made my first ever hoop this week and have been practicing for a few days the moves from the first video in this series on top of isolations. As a guy beginning to hoop I've noticed I'm quite shy about it and have been trying to work on that seeing it is a lot of girls who do this. However besides that little struggle, I have a bigger one I face. I am simply overwhelmed with trying to figure out what tricks to learn and when. I want to eventually be able to do my own combos and come up with my own routines to music. However as a beginner I'm simply overwhelmed with all the info I find on RUclips. Do you have any suggestions of where I should start with my hooping journey?
Hey Matthew! I started hooping 10 months ago and when I started I was so overwhelmed with all the contents , just like you! My advice would be to start small, focus on a few tricks , don't try to learn it all in 1 day. I bought Deanne's 21 days flow challenge and it was the perfect way to learn tricks and link them together . Be patient, enjoy the process rather than the destination! You will eventually end up doing your own combos but it takes time practice and play. Don't give up , hooping is so amazing! ❤️
'Hooping soul' - love it! Mine is a whole lot happier after this series came along. So very helpful, building up the hooping automatic pilot that I'd love to have, and I'm pretty sure I will have if I do my homework. Really good idea - thanks Deanne!
