Honestly check out Dr. Berg, his advice (B5 [250mg], cod liver oil, zinc supplements) is the only thing that cleared my acne other than accutane. Find a good derm and treat the acne 1st, then deal with the hyperpigmentation. Other than accutane, minocyclin, retin a and benzaclin work well. There are many acne routines by dermatologists on here also Brianna Stanko has good acne product videos. To deal with acne & hyperpigmentation I use Lytera, Skinceticals Phyto+, Osmosis AC Catalyst DNA Serum (Vit C) and Tazorac 0.1%. Gonna try Anteage Brightener next.

I am loving your videos for black skin. I have been using Dearskin Tranex Dear Serum 5%. I don't use it as much since I discovered copper peptides. Would you do a video on growth factor serums (Anteage, Bradceuticals, etc) and copper peptides (DECIEM, Dr. Pickart, etc)? Thank you !!

I use TXA tablets for heavy periods. Had no clue that it worked for hyperpigmentation.

I wish she would explain/instruct where in the skincare routine to add AnteAGE and the like. Or avoid "these acids the night of AnteAGE application." Do any subscribers have any input, please?

I had a breast reduction last year and I tried the silicone gel for my scars and hyperpigmentation. It didn’t work for my dark scars. What would you recommend? Your videos are so so helpful👏🏽💕

    Hi Dr. Stephens,
I found your channel recently in an attempt to start some quarantine skincare. I love the content you create, lots of great information for us brown skinned girls too😁.
If you do see this (but I also see that I'm 5 months too late on this video) please do explain if tranexamic acid is safe around eyes. Also if that could be a general bit of information for other actives videos(eg for azelaic acid) as well.
Looking forward to learning more from you, lots of love from India.
