as I get old, I'm finding my way to wood working and it's my first time using a circular saw and this video really helped me out. Less talk, "Direct to the point". Bravo!
Hi Los Moore, If you are cutting aluminum the trick there is to install the blade backwards to get a cleaner cut. (That’s what the pro’s do) as for a nice fine cut with a carbide blade 40 tooth count is good. Hope this helps!
That’s not true. Sometimes it’s way more. I would know, I work at an ACE in Florida. Sometimes the markup is staggeringly high. It depends on the item and brand and demand. Other times they utilize an extremely low margin like 16%, 10% or less; like on power tools or lawn mowers, generators etc.. But each ACE is run as a separate entity, so your results will vary. Our focus is customer service, expertise quality products and a wide range of goods and services governed by product velocity and market demand. And this will vary as well due to market demographics and geological location. And if we can’t find it or know about it, we will direct you to a reputable business that will. If you hate those things, go to lowes.
Hi There - The more teeth the better, we recommend a 40 tooth blade. You're welcome to head into your neighborhood Ace to discuss the project and get more advice as well!
Can you use a smaller blade in your Circular saw then the recommended size? Ie Can a Bosch GKS 190mm Circular Saw use a 185mm or 160mm blade? thanks for the great vid
Hi Ryan, The hole for the arbor (the center hole) must be the same size as the saw. A smaller blade in diameter just means you cannot cut as deep. Hope this helps!
reasons to like the video: great tips in 3 mins that other youtubers give in +20 min videos
