The gameplay is pretty good, I enjoy it most of the time and it is better than many of the other mobile games that I have played. The story, characters and lore is definitely on a completely different level to everything else on the market.

I actually like the gameplay of FGO tbh. Especially when I have to use some of my braincells when making a team, and figuring out how to defeat a f*cking boss.

Honestly I'm so glad the gameplay is simple. Like for example the fire emblem three houses i just saw the gameplay and i'm sure if i play enough i would get used to it but it would take a considerable amount of time before i totally would know what i'm doing and probably even then i would just pit my strongest character in the enemies like i do in fgo no strategies at all. My first impression was too hard and im too dumb. In fgo the gameplay is simple i immediately know the basics though it took probably 3 to 4 singularities for me to figure out the whole mechanics. (Like the whole game) But as i said even in fgo i do not have a strategy just go get your strongest character and i'm ready to go. So those servants combination people talks about i have no idea what the fck are they on about.

You can say what you want about the FGO gameplay, but I love it. To me it's very deep and tactical, and whether I'm pushing meta with double supports, bringing whatever I can to make my non-meta waifu absolutely destroy bosses, or just throwing six of my favorite characters together and pressing play, there's always something for me to think about and plan ahead for and enjoy. And time built improving my characters feels like success to me. I love it, and I'll never get tired of it.

Like others have said. Gameplay can be explained by 90% crit rate never crits. 10-30% crit rate always crits. But honestly, the gameplay is rather enjoyable even with the slight RNG. In late game, it feels rather rewarding sometimes when you beat a battle. *_Especially when you keep retrying because you either don't want to spend SQ, don't wanna with command codes, or they just straight up don't let you continue._*
@@samsonsanthosh yes and no. For the people who played it when it came out, most servants and skill upgades where not there and most peole did not even hae lvl100 CEs. The old servant pool without upgrades made it so that the one goetia fight was actually decently challenging. A lot of people needed a few tries or used their command spells to revive.

Tbh, the first time I played FGO the focus was the story. For the gameplay, it looks normal. Hasn't had any impact on me, farming normally. After a while I started to get bored and I started farming while watching anime or movies. It wasn't even auto yet, when I found out there was an engine for auto farming. I use it every time I farm (I'm sure you know the name of the engine, but if you haven't, I can tell you)
I think that Singularity 1 and 3 are quite enjoyable, Singularity 4 gets really good close to the end, 5 is the first that i actually think that it's legit good, every chapter after that is at least at the same quality as America, most of them are way better too

You can say what you want about the FGO gameplay, but I love it. To me it's very deep and tactical, and whether I'm pushing meta with double supports, bringing whatever I can to make my non-meta waifu absolutely destroy bosses, or just throwing six of my favorite characters together and pressing play, there's always something for me to think about and plan ahead for and enjoy. And time built improving my characters feels like success to me. I love it, and I'll never get tired of it.

Like others have said. Gameplay can be explained by 90% crit rate never crits. 10-30% crit rate always crits. But honestly, the gameplay is rather enjoyable even with the slight RNG. In late game, it feels rather rewarding sometimes when you beat a battle. *_Especially when you keep retrying because you either don't want to spend SQ, don't wanna with command codes, or they just straight up don't let you continue._*

@@samsonsanthosh yes and no. For the people who played it when it came out, most servants and skill upgades where not there and most peole did not even hae lvl100 CEs. The old servant pool without upgrades made it so that the one goetia fight was actually decently challenging. A lot of people needed a few tries or used their command spells to revive.

The game lasts seven years only because of the lore and story. Any other FGO-like games has died.
Then you have the moments where the cool music of the meme is actually in-game music and makes it a lot more fun then it actually is.
Tbh, the first time I played FGO the focus was the story. For the gameplay, it looks normal. Hasn't had any impact on me, farming normally. After a while I started to get bored and I started farming while watching anime or movies. It wasn't even auto yet, when I found out there was an engine for auto farming. I use it every time I farm (I'm sure you know the name of the engine, but if you haven't, I can tell you)

I think that Singularity 1 and 3 are quite enjoyable, Singularity 4 gets really good close to the end, 5 is the first that i actually think that it's legit good, every chapter after that is at least at the same quality as America, most of them are way better too
