Exactly. Ritsuka told Oberon ages ago that he could practically smell the animosity and hatred coming from his pleasant smile. That animosity didn't feel fulfilled when Oberon supposedly sacrificed himself, nor did he feel done when all the calamities were defeated.
This isn't Ritsuka's first rodeo by a long shot. At this point it's probably weird if one of his/her allies *doesn't* turn out to be a villain by the end of a mission.
Well, if Ritsuka doesn't skip EoR, Ritsuka should have learned about betrayal and plot twist Especially the first 2 when 2 old men tricked and betrayed Ritsuka so bad lol.

I see so much praise for the red dialogue options but they're not implemented well at all and I don't understand how anyone would buy Guda's sudden boost in competence. Self insert kun is so braindead it takes him 16 chapters to question Castoria about Merlin despite her mentioning him since the start of LB6. Suspecting Oberon isn't the problem, it's Guda literally figuring out that he's the big bad and that he'll be showing up at the end based on literally no evidence, just some vague hints. Him being all like "now all that's left is..." and "I kNeW iT" makes him look like some cartoon detective who figured out the mystery based on almost nothing. Him not voicing his suspicions with anyone and acting the way he does is just bs. Intelligence and keen observation my ass

Because he is the "self insert" main character that writers of every other story arcs literally made him less than dumb, to the point that his reactions to most things sounded more like sarcasm. Red Dialogue is basically us being actual bros with Oberon and thus the canon choices IMO. It shows that we understood them in such a way nobody else could, and that's wihout the Fairy Eyes.
No that’s not her character at all. Instead she’s too innocent for her own good. She’s akin to a child just wanting everything her way and due to her power and shit, ppl rarely goes against her. When some do, she retaliates just like a child not getting her ways would through suggestions and intimidation, only difference is she’s got some nasty gifts from birth that can actually allow a harmless “child” to inflict dmg on others

I hate myself I realized I did everything right to have the red text option but during the story I didn't chose some too obvious choices only because I already knew about Oberon being somehow a traitor so I was afraid of being influenced in my choices by that. If only I had stopped overthinking... I could have enjoyed the story more and without worrying about it, but I'm dumb

Oberon, very explicitly, is Oberon The Liar. Every single thing he says when not out as Vortigern - and even a lot of that - is lies. At all times. No matter what he says, it always means the opposite. That’s just the nature of his existence, and why he is a Pretender.

He would then do what anyone who goes back in time would... "To set right what once went wrong." Save people who died while at the same time not change the future too much. Something like sabotaging Lev's sabotage, while still making it look like it worked. He "escapes" thinking he's crippled Chaldea, when in actuality no-one's even been hurt and it was all an elaborate illusion. Then confront Romani alone with the words, "We need to have a chat... Solomon."
LB6 was frickin cathartic using Castoria, Morgan, Koyanskata, and Oberon as my unga bunga team. I didnt really have a chance to do LB6 until later, so I had them all...
"What about your own star, Titania?" translates into "So all of these are for your damn nonexisted waifu huh, Oberon?" Ritsuka can see all through the lies of the Great Liar and i think that's so badass.
No, it translates to "That's not true. You actually care about the Pilgrimage and Altria's mission, because that journey is the journey to find Titania you've always wanted to have." Basically Oberon said "Haha fuck you I'm pure evil" and Ritsuka said "No you're not lol" so that's why Oberon said again "Fuck you for being right."
The red text only appears if earlier in the story you choose options where you suspect Oberon isn't being level with you and the other members of the party, like pressing him about how he actually got the Royal army sent to reinforce the siege at Londinium to just disappear
I must've missed one more flag to get the red text because I did call out why Oberon was missing during the Londinium siege, and got him to say how he hated me for destroying the Lostbelts one by one. Then again whenever there was a choice to speak I would always pick "(My own thoughts on the matter)" because I was so afraid of talking carelessly whenever fairies are involved.
Something being a lie doesn't mean it has to be the opposite of what is said, that's a key point with Oberon. With him it isn't 'because I said x, I really mean y, and because I said y, I really mean x'. Doesn't work that way. When he says they disgust him, I mean, sure I guess it could mean that, but it could also mean that he has complicated feelings, or that he doesn't really feel anything about them at all. That's the genius of his character, trying to cut to the true meaning of each sentence is like wading through a sea of grass.
Finally a relatable anime character-toxic,hates everyone,uses everyone for his own goals and normal realistic body man i waited 2 years for him and managed to get 2 copies of him and now hes my main along with Douman life is good

And when Alter Ego Muramasa asked Ritsuka about Limbo in private, Ritsuka dropped his mask entirely, and he scared Muramasa big time. For Mash's sake, he tries to pretend he's unchanged since the beginning. In reality he's been doing his best to balance hope and pure despair in his heart.

At the beginning of the chapter, Its nighttime and Muramasa is explaining his complicated allegiance to both the Foreign God and to our Chaldea Group. After he finishes, he adds 'on a different note...I don't really want to ask this, but as much as I disliked the guy, he was still a colleague so....How did Limbo's final moments go?' Ritsuka for one of the very rare times had 3 dialogue options that were all the same viewpoint with no hesitation, as if he couldn't say enough about how much he loathed him. His responses were basically. "He died a cowards death." "He died kicking and screaming till his very end" "He got exactly what he deserved" The response is the same either way, Muramasa saying he'll try to pretend he didn't hear that and go to bed, after hearing such a shocking response from the normally chill Ritsuka.

There's altenate dialogue at the end of Oberon last speech (with his CG picture) wherever you choose red dialogue or not
His first noble phantasm usage will also always be “I have NOTHING left to say to you” if you choose the red dialogue
