  • DIY magnetic bucket broom on Kubota BX tractor video shows the broom in action and how it was designed. This is a "stay in your seat" tractor attachment - everything from catching, sweeping, and releasing the broom is done without leaving the seat. All dimensions and all build details are now on the instrutables web site: www.instructables.com/id/DIY-...

Some would call that going to extremes, to get out of work. I say that’s definitely working smarter not harder. Great job.

Hi Bob ! You need too design a rotary brush system, a small too medium size electric motor and some tubular steel to start, I know they sell them too be mounted on small tractors such as you have but I know you have the skills and talent to build this on your own . All you need is the desire to build such a creation, it would be a great side project, the first place too look for the steel and mostly everything you need is at the local scrap steel yard . Thanks for the video ! Happy too see you back!

Thanks - Not sure if I will tackle that one. Did you see my Ground driven rotary broom on the BX? Anyway here's the link: ruclips.net/video/n3fAieAVABA/видео.html

Bob I love this idea! I finally built my super shaker soil sifter. put the video up a couple years ago. its a little different than yours but I must have watched that video a hundred times or more. I may have to build me one of these for my own personal use if you don't mind. I sure could have used this a few weeks ago as I had some gravel on pavement and had to hand sweep it up. a real pain in the butt. I cant believe I have not already subscribed to your channel yet. need to do that right now! I also did a video showing my tilt link indicator I invented. I'm sure a man of your wisdom and talent would appreciate that little invention. hoping to sell the design to someone with lots of money. ha ha I wont hold my breathe! lol hope you are having a great holiday celebration. look forward to seeing more of your videos. peace love and respect Dave in Virginia

Thanks Dave for all of that. I will check out your stuff right after this. I have a paved driveway and paved street with gravel shoulders, so some gravel around all the time. Just seems right to use the tractor to do the sweeping but I wanted a real quick and convenient way to get the broom on and off. That's how the magnetic broom idea came about.
