If you were to add a pigtail like you would have on a highway trailer you could use one of the wires in the pigtail to supply power from your tow vehicle to charge that battery off the tow vehicle.
Im curious, did you happen to add an hydraulic flow restrictor to your thumbs quick attach line? Yours seems to have a nice steady extend/retract rate. Where as so many of the others I've seen slam hard from open to closed and vise versa.
Yes, it came with the kit. That part is definitely required. I would use a smaller hose than the one I have if I did it over too. BTW, that part is also a little fragile, it breaks if it gets banged while in use. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Appreciate the Information. I've used a dime (as pressure reducer) w/ a small hole drilled through it on a pickup truck snow plow system converted to skid steer use. Took a couple tries w/ hole sizing, but it now runs at perfect speed. Dime was installed inside quick fitting on attatchment side on both lines. Ive since replaced dime (for fear of corrosion) with a stainless steel slug.
David Werner dont quote me. I’d start around 1/4” and work up. I wanna say approximately 5/16” but it’s been a while back. 3/8” was way too big for mine.
