LAY HO MA!! The winter is tough even for a Yeung man like me 😆 but a hot bowl of ramen is tougher 🍜 to find out more about the Vegan Ramen Cookbook visit the website here www.yeungmancooking.com happy cooking 👨🏻🍳
I made the curry with udon last week and was really impressed. I decided to make the vegan chili ramen tonight. The chili oil was really fun to make. The ramen was so delicious and easy to make. I never though I could make ramen that tasted this amazing. I am so happy I have found Yeung Man Cooking. Looking forward to purchasing the cookbook.
I think I’m in love 🤗. He talks us through, he has the written recipe in the description box, music isn’t overpowering and his voice is easy to listen to. 🧡
I love everything about the feel and ease of these videos. The only thing I need to adapt for is sodium. Asian cooking uses a lot ( not more than American commercial food but I home cook)
I made this today, with all the ingredients that you mentioned, studied the recipe for two weeks, gathered everything. I did not get the broadbean sauce, I used to Chilli bean sauce instead. I wish I could share the image here. My husband had told me if he likes the Ramen he will gift me an authentic Ramen bowl, guess what he gave me 99/100 for this recipe! I am going to try all of your Ramen recipes. They look so appetizing, I can't resist myself from making them.
I have never been the kind of person who posts before I make a recipe, saying something looks good...but these recipes are making me break that! My mouth is watering. Definitely in my future for by the weekend. It’s difficult to get Vegan ramen in restaurants, I don’t want to eat in restaurants, and it wouldn’t travel well, so this will be perfection.
I can't stop watching your videos! So well produced and the recipes are fantastic and not too difficult at all. Such a good channel, thank you so much.
I hope this channel will continue and wont be gone. i finally found my perfect vegan vlogger especially for me as asian cuz some vegan vloggers has many ingredients that can't buy or expensive for asian countries unlike this channel it is amazing and the ingredients is good that it can easily found on any market place
The recipe kills it. I literally went instant in the next Asia shop to buy the ingredients. The dish is vegan, easy and quick to make, delicious, hearty and perfect for winter, full of protein, cheap, you can adjust the variety and amount of vegetables, once you bought the key ingredients you can make it also spontaneous
Wow your channel has really grown! You have the best vegan ramen recipes out of anyone that I have seen so far! Thank you for making such high quality content :)
I made this dish this evening. I made some slight alterations, but overall the same ingredients went into it. My wife is very particular with her food but she said this was the best ramen she has ever had! I had been looking forward to making this for a while, so so pleased with how it turned out! Love the channel and wanted to say a big thank you!
Lay ho ma 🤗. I absolutely love all your recipes 😍 the way you explain everything is so precise and perfect. I literally can't stop watching your videos. One of the best chefs out there! I have tried so many of your recipes and they have all been successful 😁. Much love from India ♥️
Hello Wil Just received a copy of your amazing Vegan Ramen Cookbook. This is a Beautiful Refined Cookbook with delicious recipes and the photos and plating are absolutely fantastic. Wil (👍) treasure this along with your RUclips Channel so supportive of cooking with absolute confidence! Last nite made Tofukatsu and wow 😋 Thank You Wil. 👩🍳
Thank you for your videos, Wil! I’ve learned so much - including basic skills (like how to properly slice a bell pepper!). Love that your recipes are all for 1 serving; makes it easy to adapt for multiple mouths to feed (or not share the awesomeness). ❤️🙏🏻🌱
That looks so yum yum and your instructions, editing, talking worth watching the whole video no long as introduction just straight to the point and recipe easy to follow keep up i wish your channel blow more
Made that Chili oil today and OH...My....GAWD!!!! 😱😱😱The whole house smelt amazing!!!! Seriously anyone who hasn't made it you really have to. 😋It's so worth it! Love your channel btw! ❤️
I tried this recipe for dinner tonight and it was very delicious. The broth on its own was lip smacking good. Definitely the vegan homemade broth and red chili oil make the dish very delicious. Thanks for sharing another awesome recipe.
Holy moly. Crying because I am today years old before I made this recipe. Life changing. Thank you! I had all but the paste. Will be even better when I follow precisely the recipe.
Thank you! I made this ramen two days ago and I’ll be making it again this weekend. Delicious 💕. I used a Chili oil made by my friend’s mother instead of my own...it’s got a few more aromatics in it (like lemon grass).
This recipe looks so delicious! I struggle with digesting a lot of different types of oils, most likely due to not having my gallbladder, but I look forward to attempting this recipe!
Lovely recipe as usual, Will! However I have one thing to note about the kombu, I saw this too in some other recipes you did. When you boil the kombu you're destroying a large part of the umami that's actually in there, it should not go above 70 C or so. The side effect of boiling is that the flavor of the soup becomes slightly more bitter. A more gentle way to extract the umami from the kombu would be to make a separate dashi by soaking the kombu in cold water overnight, heating it up slowly the next day and kill the heat when the water becomes too hot. Not trying to criticise your methods, just trying to help everyone to get more flavor out of their kombu. ;)
You have inspired me so much! Since watching your channel I make some kind of ramen or noodle dish every day. And I am delighted to hear the new descriptives you are using! Well done!
I’m not vegan by any stretch. But you have hands down the tastiest recipes I’ve ever had. This is my second ramen from you…you make something so complex seem simple. My favorite to date is the peanut satay ramen!! Thank you for teaching me how delicious vegan can be💚👍🏻
Ohhhhhhh Hell YEAH!!!!!!!! This is definitely the party I want to attend, be there for set up and clean up! Wil you have done it again! I literally screamed aloud in my kitchen watching you cook this. Have a few items now to pick up at HMart - this is on my list for the weekend.
This looks so good and I don't even eat Ramen Noodles! I will have to try this recipe to stay warm this winter. Also I could not stop looking at your haircut. It suits you well with the black T-shirt and makes a very nice presentation for your videos. 😊 😊
Why do I always look at your videos in the evenings 😭 I just want to eat what you make, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm vegan and mostly cook asian-inspired recipes. So you couldn't be more in my vibe.
I made this a couple of days ago, and it was absolutely delicious! I used store bought chili oil that I am still working my way through before I make the I'm sure superior chili oil recipe you linked. The ramen broth was still delicious regardless. Thank you for sharing such a delicious recipe!
Your cutting techniques are actually correct compared to so many people I see in cooking videos online. Also one of the fewer people I see actually respecting their knives by using the dull side of the knife to scrape the ingredients off of the cutting board.
Your videos are so much therapeutic to watch after long days of stress n work.... cooking everything vegan is so damn amazing...never stop that please ..♡.. I hope to see you inspiring us to 'cook with confidence' like this even after 15 years from now on... Love from India...🇮🇳

Just made this using homemade chili oil. It was superb! Thank you for the recipe Wil! It was the first of your recipes that I've made, but it sure won't be the last! 😋
I was looking for this recipe! Fantastic :) I love this spiciness, not boring but not killer either. Heartwarming is what you can call this ramen, I've adapted it a bit after all these years of your recipes: All the toppings are sautéed in the pot beforehand and taken out, then everything continues according to the instructions and at the end the toppings go on top of the ramen in the bowl. It looks even nicer and with shiitake there is also a stronger flavor than with cremini mushrooms :)
I miss the old japanese bowl u used on chili oil ramen that looked really beautiful The best thing about wil is he is completely unchanged from less than 10k till now Success hasn't gone to his head that is a very rare quality and I find it best in u
I just discovered this youtube channel and I love these videos! So relaxing to watch and inspiring. I have 3 noodle dishes bookmarked to make next week!
