But you don’t buy this car because it’s the logical choice. You buy it because your heart aches for it.

Porsche is nice but I like the uniqueness of the Jaguar, we don’t see many of them here in California compared to porches and Tesla’s. Make sure you get an older one with the old style exhaust system. Trust me, i just bought a V6 Chequered Flag edition and it sounds bad compared to the original ones
Sounds insane with the mods! Love how the rev limiter is gone. This V6 is fantastic, I’ve driven the velar p380 many times and this takes it up several notches! Great review.
I am been lucky enough to have owned two Jaguars - the S-Type and an XFS. THE XFS in particular was a stunning car. I currently have a Mercedes CLS 350, and while it's very luxurious, it's no F-Type (which is my favorite car of all time), and one I'm 100% buying in 2/3 years! Love the video - great work.

Great video, guys! Question, I just got an 18 400 sport and I was wondering, what spacers did you use with your 305s? I’m assuming you went with 265 in the front, right? On the forums I’ve read some people mentioning 15mm but others said that they may rub and recommended 7mm. Did you go with H&R? Thanks!
Thanks! 15 mm spacers all around with those size tires and H&R lowering springs. No rubbing at all, the springs are a little stiffer so that helps the fender clear from rubbing. Good luck 👍

@@viperx100 go with 15 mm. 7 mm isn’t enough of a difference to tell and with stock height you need a more aggressive stance. I had no rubbing issues with stock springs and 15 mm as well.

Do you get heavy rain or snow where you are..im considering getting one in a few months (heavily considering)..would like to know if it feel too dangerous in that type of weather..ps im considering the 2016 f type s rwd
It has been raining here pretty heavy last month and the car handled it well. I didn’t even use the rain/snow mode which reduces power. I think as long as you have decent tires you will be ok, the S model has a good LSD to help with traction.
Nice car I’m thinking about getting one myself but how is the space because I’m 6’3 and I have a 2018 mustang gt and I have to let the seat all the way back just to get comfortable hopefully it has enough space if not then I might have to get the xkr version just because of the back seat space to let the driver seat back....
Hi! Thanks for the comment. I think 6’3 is the absolute max for this car since there isn’t much room to slide the seat back further. It’s gonna be a tight fit for you, I would recommend a bigger car. Good luck.

Sir.....gotta question that maybe you can assist with hopefully...I've been trying unsuccessfully to check my oil levels on my 2017 F-type using the digital dashboard with videos posted ( ruclips.net/video/Ol2ei2-kCd4/видео.html) it doesnt seem to work for me.....does it work for you and if so...what am I doing wrong. No matter what I do...it always reads "unavailable" on the oil level screen:(
Sorry yours is acting up. The oil level sensor on the F-Type is finicky. It needs to be driven a specific amount of time and also needs to go through a couple of turns to calibrate the lateral g force sensor. It's complicated, but simple instruction is to just drive it normally and it should give an oil readout. Otherwise, you may have a faulty oil level sensor.
I've owned a 280zx,300 way back so i've always enjoyed the two seater look and feel....can't get over how many people so far have walked up to me and commented on this jag sayin "they've always wanted to buy one". Although I got it for the looks....I'm really starting to appreciate the everything else about this car...including that startup growl:)

P340 is the V6, the 4 cylinder is the P300 which is turbocharged. You can tune the 340 to 401 with just a remap for £240 - Yorkshire Remaps

Mostly due to cost. In my area the V8 was $15k more. I’m test driving a V8 S today to see the difference.
