I’ve had mine for a little over three years I use it professionally still works. I bought my second one two years ago. It also still works. There are plenty of reviews on this gun. It’s an absolute tank a little heavy, but definitely well-built find a better review would be my suggestion. And as far as the service goes, Milwaukee offers a five year warranty, they pay for shipping both ways. The turnaround time is about seven days. So as far as making sure someone services it more bad information. If you have problems with your Milwaukee tools use the E service.

I’ve had one for two years and put an awful lot of nails through it it and no problems whatsoever still as powerful and not a single blockage.

Regular air is 78% nitrogen, the removal of that bit of oxygen doesn't really mean much. Probably way more important that it's dry nitrogen with low water content.

  • @alfredocuomo1546

First off all you needed to have is a PCP air rifle pump has the same fitting to fill it to 100 PSI, second all the motor does is spin that cog and push the anvil back against the air pressure in the tank and when you press the trigger it picks a Solenoid which releases the anvil and the pressure drives it to strike the nail. Simple as is..!!! LMFIAO PS. Even though it was originally filled with Nitrogen remember air is 78% Nitrogen so it should work fairly well except it may be more prone to drop pressure due to some smaller molecules like Oxygen.

Milwaukee forces you to use their service center to repair the tool you cannot buy parts for your gun to service it yourself

Sorry to hear about this man. It may not have stopped you working completely, but it's an annoyance. And it screws with your business. I was tempted on getting one for my work, but now you got me thinking twice. Was actually just looking at getting a ridgid/aeg one. It comes with the pump to fill it. So hopefully no sending it in for a service.

i have the paslode, dewalt, senco trim and the Milwaukee i would say Milwaukee is the worst one, senco most reliable one, paslode the lightest one but I'm a not in the trade however i fix and mod tools as a hobby

I was literally going to HomeDepot to buy one today! I am going to hold off. Not even made in our country!

I feel your pain that's why I brought the rigid brushless framing 3 1/2" nailer they have a cover with a valve that after the 5,000 nails or so you can air it up to the 125 psi and no more because they have a pressure valve so the max is about 127 psi from what ive been able to fill with my Milwaukee 18v inflator. I've made a video of it if you're interested to see how it's made and the benefit of being able to refill. And the reason why I believe Ridgid did this is the LSA where if anything happens you send it in for service for life and they didn't want to fill nailers and waste time and resources. It makes sense Milwaukee with a 5 year warranty dewalt with a 1 year warranty says 3 but you really have to read the fine print. Also made a video about DeWalt warranty and why I left the platform as a whole. I had to pay 111.00 for a bad board you would think it was a defect but with impact wrenches the hard hitting jaring effect will loosen board components which the explained and was considered wear and tear. So they lost my business. But great video you have educated many who just don't know. Who do not have the time for hours of research and the major players in the tool community content maker's are promoting tools they have a script and to get paid they have to keep to the script. They actually have to send the video to be watched before they can publish it. So be careful with these major channels who are in it for profit not community!

I've had mine since they first came out, shot a million nails, framed so much with it, and it still works awesome with zero issues! No complaints whatsoever!

  • @SurvivalSKY

I own two of these and have had them since they came out and have framed numerous basements and decks professionally. Had to have put a million Nails through each one of them.... just as powerful as the day I bought em. Stumbled across this video in my feed. Cool to see how it works. I definitely abused the heck out of mine dropping them off of high places here and there. Primarily they get stored in the packout system so they're pretty well protected but they definitely get the crap kicked out of them. I would not hesitate to buy another if I needed one!

I have both the Metabo HPT cordless framer & the tried & true paslode XP cordless framer. Both excellent guns. I use my paslode for work above the ground because of how light weight & maneuverable it is. The metabo is great for ground work because it’s a little heavier. The metabo just flat out works. The Paslode (which is my golden child even tho gas is expensive) needs regular maintenance but its extremely easy to do & is all around an excellent gun.. I do have multiple air nailers which get pulled a lot too but it’s just nice to go hoseless if you can get away with it.

The Ryobi has easy user access to the fill valve but you fill it with air rather than nitrogen which I question because of the water content in air. The fill value is 125 PSI and it has a relief valve to prevent you from over filling it. I'm retired so it will last me the rest of my life. I have that Dewalt you showed, I bought it in 2006.

It's a sad part of modern-day trades. Tools don't last or junk from the start.

  • @patattack1919

I've just had a 23 gauge pin nailer lose power over a year of heavy use. If I were milwaukee I'd make the gas port accessible from the outside. Getting access to a tank of pure nitrogen and a regulator is definitely within our abilities.

i got the ryobi one because its just like the ridgid with the refill valve and i already had ryobi batteries. I looked really hard at the metabo but i didnt want to add more battery platforms. i feel that a way to refill should be standard.

  • @chadzagone8577

I've had over 10 of these and have only had that happen to one. That's not what I hate about it. Their mags are crap. And the splines on the motor wear out and start slipping

I have one of these. i need to rebuild the whole thing including gearbox. i saw video recently on another channel about the firing mechanism. but it wasnt using nitrogen.
