So many good tips about bread making. One thing I have done in the past is, after flouring the raisins, I put them in a strainer to shake out the excess flour.
Oh my goodness! I just followed your instructions for the raisin bread and it is wonderful! Thank you! Mine didn't rise like yours but I think our kitchen was on the cooler side. Taste and looks great!
The cinnamon raisin bread looks beautiful but not as beautiful as the cat. U can have the bread, I want the cat...lol. New subscriber. Can't wait to make this. Not a fan of any glaze but I love cream cheese on it. Just pulled my bread machine out of pantry floor today. Got it washed. Gonna be cold and rainy tomorrow so hubby wants pot roast in slow cooker for supper tomorrow so I'm gonna make some bread to go with it.
I made this recipe and it was great. I think next time I will add more reasons and more cinnamon. I finally found bread recipes for my KBS machine ! Thank you so much!
Tried the sticky buns on the raw dough setting turned out great! Wasn’t sure if I used the correct setting but it worked. Pecan caramel topping. Mmm good.

Thanks! So much great info! My bread turned out great. The manual provides little information on technique, just ingredients, so it would be great if you could PLEASE make more videos about this machine! I am trying a cinnamon swirl bread as we speak.
I just got a bread machine for my birthday, and it's the same machine you have, thanks for the great tips and videos, I made this yesterday and it came out GREAT!!!
Just made my first cinnamon raisin bread in our new lbs bread maker following your video to the letter. Turned out fantastic. You made so easy, Thank you so much. By chance do you have a video on sticky pecan buns?
I love your channel and made a loaf today. I made up my own mixture of butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar with a touch of honey and basted the bread with it, which turned out so good. Thank you so much. I also subscribed and look forward to more videos 😀
Hi Am new to your channel and love it.I make all my bread. Cranberry,Raisin and Date. Sometime add a little apple diced very fine. Found this works for me. I add the raisins near the beginning not waiting for the beep. ❤
I know this may sound like a dumb question but can I make a smaller loaf but just cutting the ingredients in half - in theory it should work but I have seen some recipes where to make less some of it is half but other stuff is close to the same? Also my recipe book has a cinnamon swirl bread - it gives the ingredients on how to prepare the swirl but not sure when or how to add those ingredients to the process - please advise. Thank you. 11:03 a.m.
@@TriangleProperties yes you can certainly cut this recipe in half just change your setting on the bread machine too 1 pound loaf as for the cinnamon swirl bread if you want to actually be swirled, you would need to take the loaf out after the final knockdown, which is right before the last rise spread the dough out on the counter in like a rectangular shape about the size of both of your hands spread your cinnamon sugar butter mixture onto the dough and roll it up and shape it into a log that will fit back into the bread pan that’s the only way to actually get a swirl.
Question for you…have you ever tried putting the raisins in at the beginning? I’ve made this 4 times now, and each time a bulk of the raisins tend to fall to the bottom of the loaf. I’m wondering if you put them in from the beginning, if they would get mixed in better? I love this recipe, it’s so delicious I’ve been eating it for dessert👍🏼😁. Thanks in advance for any input you might have, and for these wonderful recipes!!!
Yes I have put them in at the beginning. It works fine as long as you are okay with them being mashed up and the bread dark. Another option is to add a couple more tablespoons of liquid to the recipe. This will make a softer dough that will allow the raisins to mix in better. If you do this you may need to choose a darker crust in order to get the bread done enough.
Hello! I am loving your videos and have the same bread machine and love it so far. What can be done if you bump the button and the cycle stops when you open it to do something? Any suggestions?
I would like to make a cranberry orange bread can i use the raisin bread recipe just add cranberries in stead of raisins. the recipe I want to use is from pioneer woman bread machine
Last time I used the bread maker, the bread was dense and fell in the middle. I kinda lost interest after the fail. Watching your video has renewed my interest in making bread. I think I realized my mistake after watching your video. Thank you for being so informative
Hi! I just purchased the KBS at a thrift store. Really like the fact the container is ceramic! Having a problem trying to figure out what to do since I live in high altitude ( at 8000 feet). I am not seeing an adjustment for altitude baking which to be honest is causing me a bit of worry - don’t want to produce a lead weighted weapon ( yes, I have done that). Is it ok to put the raisins with the flour coating into the little box or is that only if I am going to put in by hand 20 minutes?
I got this one from a thrift store years ago. If you follow the Amazon shop link in the description of the video I found one on amazon that is similar.

It can, but you may experience a bread that doesn't rise as well or it may fall a little in the middle. AP flour doesn't have as much gluten/protein as bread flour and that is what may cause a different outcome.
I am having a lot of trouble removing the paddle from my bread maker. I would like to bake the bread without the paddle but can’t remove the paddle without soaking container first. Any suggestions please. I also read today but the company is replacing units that are having a problem. Any comments on this.

I read in a group that if you contact the company through that email they will send you a new machine that has an improved paddle. I have tried boiling it but then it always sticks in the bread. I really think it is a poor design and I am very disappointed. I can’t even take it out and then rearrange the bread and bake it with no paddle. I can do that with my Zoe machine. I don’t always want to bake a 2 pound loaf. Thanks for your reply. I don’t know what to do.
I was just trying this tone today and with 5 minutes left all of the glass on the top of the KBS 17 shattered. So disappointed! Think I need to look for a different brand

Hello
Question for you.
I heard that cinnamon can affect the yeast if you use to much. What is your thoughts on this?
Thank you
I think you would have to use a very exorbitant amount to affect the yeast. I’ve never had any problem with it.

That’s great.
Make sure you are using fresh bread machine yeast. It makes a BIG difference in the end result.
Have you, do you use the little hopper that comes with the machine to add the raisins?
I didn’t but you most definitely can. I opted not to because some people might not have that option. Wanted to show when to add them.
Can you make some powdered milk and use it or do you need regular whole milk.
You can make it if you want.

Yes you can put the raisins in the dispenser. Use the sweet bread cycle number 2. You may need to decrease the liquid by a couple tablespoons.
Hi I am making this a long with you this time. For next time, what settings would I use if I wanted to use the dispenser.

do you use milk right out of the fridge or does the milk need to be at room temperature?

I'm a little confused when to add the raisins ? Is it 20 minutes from the time you start the machine ? Is it after it kneads ? It's not clear
