Hey, just posted a comment on one of your other vids on this bike. I had a CB 200T back in the early 1980s......and around 35,000 miles ( I rode the hell out of mine )... I noticed it running richer, taking less choke to get started cold, and using a bit more gas.... and talking to my buddies at the Honda shop who were very very nice... The needles in the carb slides that go down into the orifice ( they have a couple positions they can be adjusted to for leaner or richer ).... those needles wore out from lots of use. At the time , they were 5-6 bucks for new ones. I installed new needles and got the gas mileage back up.... They do wear out.... I never had much trouble sync ing my carbs. M little CB200 was such a tough bike, I have so many memories, riding it from Seattle to Calgary and back, Seattle to SF and back. Riding it drunk with diff chicks on the back , riding at flat out at 75-77 mph..... You did not see many of them at all back then and you never see any at all now. I think the CL 200s were very low production numbers ... Enjoy...

Just wanna thank you for posting these videos! I have a CL200 myself and given how rare they are I'm quite lucky to be able to watch someone work on one! Much appreciated.

Nice catch with that throttle cable and congrats on getting into the show! I really like this era of bike. A good friend in high school had an old Honda CB.

Man your bike looks great. Would have loved to see it at the One Moto Show but I skipped it this year! Question for you -- I can hear my slides hitting the bottom at the same time, but how can I figure out if they are at the same height when this happens? I can definitely adjust it so one carb is visibly higher than the other at "bottom," so is there a way to confirm that the bottom heights are the same for each one?

I'm a newbie, so if this is a newbie question you know why. When starting the with full choke, you have to adjust the idle mixture screws every time you lower the choke until there is zero choke correct? My bike will idle way high if I start the bike, let it idle at around 1200, choke off, then it shoots up to 6000. Do you have to adjust the screws every time you start the bike and continue adjusting the screws until it idles as it should with no choke? I have the same exact bike for reference.

You do NOT adjust them every time you start the bike. You only need to adjust them once or twice a year. I honestly never use the choke, it's never needed for me. But if I did use it, then I would NOT adjust the the idle or the air mixture screws while operating the choke.

Would any of this information be true for a CB200? Cool video.

I‘m restoring a cb200 and I can confirm, the carbs and by this the proces is the same. I‘d recommend a synchronizing tool however.
