Settlement turrets. When I am around: Kills 3 legendary deathclaws in 0,1 second after spawning. When I'm not around: 3 tatos and water purifier broke.
The equipment breaking makes me angrier than anything. Half the time I visit a settlement I'm like "You mean to tell me half your water pumps broke 2 weeks ago and you guys have just been dying of thirst and nobody's fixed them??"
There’s a mod called sim settlements that helps to fix the base building in fallout 4 and from what I’ve seen I hope they use it as a bases for fallout5 if they keep the base creation. Because to me it was an excellent idea making it feel like you could have an impact in the game by changing the in world map. But man are your settlers useless and don’t get me started on the minute men.

There was a clip I saw on here of an npc's view of fast travel, and it was just, the guy's eyes going vacant, milky white as he just bursts into a dead sprint towards his destination before waking up there like nothing happened lol. Looked terrifying.
That Children of Atom compound at the far end of the Glowing Sea really should become a settlement. There is a certain settler who would absolutely love making that supply run.

It’s probably a bitch to program for those scenarios, but just once I’d like to see an NPC recognize an extremely hard target when I present/make one.

When you enter the taverns, there's a chance that a disgruntled drunk guy will spawn and if you get close enough or talk to him, he'll pick a fight with you. But if you have high enough renown or status, you can go "Do you have any idea who I am?" And usually, he'll go "Oh, I had no idea. Please excuse me" and sulk off ashamed. It's a funny little interaction and you'd think more games would do this.
Stuff like that is my problem with fallout 4 if I'm the general of the minute who rebuilt the faction from the ground up but yet I still have to do everything myself and can't send other minute defend or help settlements and since I only play on survival I dont wanna cross the map to cross the map again to defend what's supposedly "fortress" of a settlement

I've had my Security kidnapped. No sh*t, I gave this b*tch power armor, which she was in, because when I rescued her it was standing right next to her, a railway rifle, .44, weaved armored dress and hat. I was so pissed. With that said, as SOON as I untied her she started blastin, so that was good.

I did something similar once. But it was for a settler that pulled a Fat Man out of my storage box and shot it at the invading Super Mutant I was in melee combat with. I died, reloaded to just before the Super Mutant fight, managed to not get hit by the nuke the second time, and sent that guy on a random trade route. I followed him from a distance with a sniper rifle.
“Another settlement needs your help.” No! I have build each settlement into full cities! Have fully armed guards and dozens of turrets! I even have sentry bots in a few of them! They cannot be in need of help! It’s impossible for them to not handle it! I guarantee if a behemoth or mirelurk queen attacked they wouldn’t get past the literal walls I modded into the game to make them look more authentic. There is no way raiders, super mutants, or any other group wouldn’t get annihilated the second they get in range of a turret. Don’t you give me that sh!t, Preston. For that matter, I’m the General. And we have dozens of Minutemen patrolling the Commonwealth at this moment. Why am I the only one actually “defending people at a minute’s notice?”
Quick Tip: Since Legendary weapons can't be scrapped and even some of the decent ones are barely worth the caps, rename them to "So-And-So's What-Have-You" to "name" the settlers (and give them decent equipment.) Great way to make use of Mutant Slayer weapons and the ones that give extra defense while reloading. Love your videos, dude!

This is too accurate to how the NPC's must act like while you're gone and the settlement is getting somebody kidnapped because the guards do not shoot the raiders
Fun tip if you load up your supply line guys with some extra food, water and stimpaks/radaway you essientially have emergency stockpiles walking all over the commonwealth in case you need it. I know survival isnt all that difficult but it has helped me out a couple times and i like to think theyre out there helping people in need
I like how this is a normal game mode problem. Since you can't fast travel in survival mode, if you ignore it long enough, the enemies will just spawn on their own. If you have enough turrets, they will take care of the problem for you and you will get experience for it. It's cool. Bonus points if you get it in the middle of dialogue when doing a quest
