Yeah, in 7Days they have a similar weight system for all build materials and world blocks. The best strategy is to pillar up every few blocks and make support arches. Wood holds the longest overhangs with weight in the game, so it makes for a stable construction resource compared to rocks cement or metal. Oddly enough I am really satisfied by survival games which factor in that floating islands are not a thing... As much as I love floating islands.
@@birb1221 It's the same difference though. Numerous cases in history where guys will find holes in the ground, flooded or otherwise, and explore them. Dude your sense of humor is wonderfully subtle. I'm sticking around
Oh he said jhit, he's a Floridian brother, that explains it
I don't like that you used "minecraft clone" in the title when the game functions vastly more uniquely than minecraft
Yeah, we know... but imagine the regular YT watcher, who haven't heard of Vintage Story and just glances at the blocky world.
With the "." there is acknowledgment of those superficial similarities and the promise of something more than that.
If it was a constant comparison, that wouldn't sit well with me either... but as a cheeky on boarding process... that's the right kind of clickbait IMO
@@janosd4nuke perfectly said 🙏🏻
That was absolutely crazy, I can't believe you made it through the game I would've been over it from the first night.
Far from a Minecraft clone, this thing uses Minecraft as toilet paper.
Holy FUCK I was not expecting this game to be this advanced, but to pig attacked you when she was with her piglets...
22:50 little jit
Vintage Story is one of my favorite games of all time. So fun watching you work through it's intricacies.

When I saw the fire next to the barrels my heart immediately dropped. That's a mistake you only make once.
For me it was 20 stacks (complete cubes) of firewood catching from my pit kilns.
Your FOV is painful...
“If you hadn’t noticed, the trees around me were now repping the bloods, and gang warfare would definitely lower my property value.” Bro I’m dead 💀💀
FoV makes it unwatchable but I mainly tuned in to listen whilst working on other stuff anyway, so it kinda worked out unless I was curious as to what was going on
I'm so glad to see new Vintage Story content finally showing up naturally in my feed.
Whats this music 5:29
"Please don't tell me they climb"
Me: Bro about to get bear checked 😏
