This is the last Norse game for the Norse saga confirmed by the game directors lol, it's not hard to research this information, kuba is only giving a theory or a prediction.
Big prediction... when kratos and Atreus meet tyr he doesn’t want to help until he finds out that Faye was his mom and that she is dead, tyr knew her plan. fayes ashes will resurrect the giants because of their previous meeting in fleeing jotumheim and that’s why her one wish was to have her ashes spread there. Only tyr and Faye knew the plan, and that could also be why we don’t know how/why Faye (a giant) dies. It was unlikely from old age, rather the plan since the giants knew what was going to happen before it did seen at end of gow2018. Faye a great warrior who fought for the people is reflected in Atreus when we first meet him in 2018. Showing compassion and empathy for others and Faye being a goddess of love, and magic made her ashes have a spell to sacrifice her life for theirs so ragnarok can take place. (Sorry for the novel) Kaptain Kuba would love to hear what you think!
I don't know if you noticed in GOW 2018 mimir said about jormungandr:" him and thor they have an unpleasent history between them or they will anyway" it was a clear statement that there is something about time travel
Wow, really good prediction. I can 100% see the split between gameplay when Atreus goes with Tyr etc. Honestly I'd be happy with this. Now I'm expecting the actual story to hold up to your theory or go beyond it or I'll be disappointed XD
I love this fan lore, it makes me more excited for ragnarok! My only hope is that the game is 2x as long as the first game and that there are double the amount of bosses and hidden pieces of lore like in the first game.
Ngl, you lost me as soon as you said how it's gonna open lol. Idk, the first game did a really good job of making Odin seem like this mythical person, I think his reveal in the game will be bigger than how you describe the opening scene
I think it would be only right for them to show freya demanding her WS or something to him. Even if we don’t see his face or hear him speak. Having that scene play out would be pretty sweet.
@@sudowoodo9579 I agree, it would definitely build up more hype if we see that scene and hear him speak to her, just not see him yet until that big reveal later in the game
That’s a very good story prediction!but how will you do more god of war ragnarok theories after this video?will you theorize on different outcomes that could take place other than this prediction?
My crazy prediction is that Atreus will become Fenrir as a "wolf of the wolfs", by Odin spell cast on Atreus in moment that Kratos and Thor were fighting. Kratos and Tyr will try to stop him while Angrboda try to cast a spell. In battle Tyr would loose his arm and tragicly would get killed by Atreus's form. When turning back to normal he'll be devastated by what he had done and will burst out with grief (god version of it) which again Angrboda will stop and turn this energy into little Jormungandr.
Sounds insane, but atreus becoming fenrir is not possible. Except if they stray far from the mythology. Because fenrir is loki's son and atreus is loki. But atreus could become a giant wolf since that is how he even made fenrir by shape-shifting into a giant wolf.
@@mauriciomacedo6673 But the wooden murals or whatever they called (I forgot) don't specify when are they happening. Notice that they show past (with Thor being crushed by giant) and future (Ragnarok). When it comes to Skoll and Hati I don't see a reason that they could not be just a wolfs from Jotunheim cought by Aesier gods. The story says that Odin cast them to the sky to chase sun and moon. It wasn't their choise. Remember that the writers can do whatever they want with this material, so posibilities are endless.
Man Santa Monica should just hire you as part of their script writers😅coz you be having the directors rethink their plot with each new video🤣🤣🤣 Great job!
Has anyone noticed Freya’s changes? In the previous game? In the beginning vs the end. Her tattoos became more vibrant and she had added ones. Her outfit changes as well. I think she had more involvement and other motives in those requests (gatekeeper’s heart)she made. Maybe even the lambscrest.
There are some really good pieces of prediction here, like it would actually make sense that Atreus is holding Tyr since mural on the wall has no arm P.S. 17:15 idk why but that just sounded hilarious to me, Atreus will try to kill his father and Freya will come in and say No
I can't describe my love for this game, but I don't even come close to you brother. That was some great story telling. Been watching your videos for a long time. Dont wanna be a simp but thank you for doing all that you do here.
Really well thought out and delivered synopsis of what you think could/ will happen. I still think there will be a big twist however.... something along the lines of odin actually masquerading as tyr just because he can.
That is some excellent prediction right there ! Although I have something important to add here - We saw the portrait about Atreus Crying with someone on his lap, what if this was our Atreus that also was involved in the time travel to the past where Ragnorork happened, so as you said Kratos was killed in that reality and our Atreus mistook this Kratos for his father and brings Havoc as Odin said only to be stopped by Tyr and present-Kratos ( There obviously is going to be a scene where Kratos is gonna be in a dilemma about his son's life). P.S - I don't know exactly how these 2 timelines would be managed , but this is only some of the hunches that I thought while watching the vid. Once again nice vid!!
Dude HOLY COW this is a really great prediction I'm very excited to see if a small amount of what you said will be apart of the story. The opening will be something like that or over looking the city Kratos does in the trailer. :D
If Atreus and kratos go back to hellheim it would be pretty intense if the show a vision of kratos killing his wife and daughter. It would be a great way to put a divide between the two as well. Also have you noticed kratos has a bandage around one of his arms again? Didn't he get rid of them in the last game?
Interesting theory, what about Helheim? It needs to be a part of this I think, I really believe Atreus will die in a certain part and Kratos has to go to Hel to bring him back, fighting the big bird in the process, who will use ghost from Kratos past to help him in the fight.
@Arihant that’s what I’m thinking too. My working theory is that Kratos really will die as depicted on the mural of the wall. The aftermath would show a vengeful Atreus leading the giants in an assault on Asgard, beginning Ragnarok. Meanwhile, Kratos does what Mimir thought impossible and fights his way out of Hel AFTER death.
Welll this is too good for someone who dint even get a word of the script Proud of U man keep growing, But I think U missed something About Syndri and Brock maybe even they may play some role
Amazing video, only thing i think might go different, is that Freya will stop Atreus from killing Kratos, by reminding him of the scene where Baldur was trying to kill her, and how wrong Atreus thought that was, instead of a spell to make him unconsious.
I dont think anything will happen to Kratos since there has to be some sidequest or unexplored areas? and if we want to do them in the end, it will be tough if Kratos and Atreus separate
Don't get me wrong I like God Of War Ragnarok, but this story to me is MUCH better. I like the Viking funeral opening, I like the idea of Kratos and Thor fighting atop Thor's carriage with Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjostr, I would've wanted the fight with Heimdall atop the rainbow bridge, I would've liked Tyr to be used better and not just a disguise for Odin, I would've wanted Kratos to at least weaken Odin before Fenrir ate him like in the actual mythology. There was so much GOW Ragnarok could've done right, but they only gave us a small bit of what we wanted.
I played god of war 2018 in 2018 just hacking and smashing til end credits. Replayed it last week and never thought that we will be playing into a timeloop on the sequel. Love your vids, i am very entertained.

Entire Santa Monica Studio : You son of a B....
Eric has to tell us if kuba got 1 of the theories right
Kuba probably have 1 theories right
Whoever voiced kratos did such a good job, really good video kuba!
I hate how much this all makes sense keep up the great work😁🤙
That Faye reveal gave me goosebumps...! you never cease to amaze dude.
amazing…the raven transitions are a great touch…also Tyr being the one in the mural..i think you got this
Didn't Eric Williams say that Ragnarok will occur? He even said that the game can't be called "GOW Ragnarok" without Ragnarok occuring.
Yeah, that's what I thought
And GOW 3 will be the final continuation of it i guess
well, captain Kuba did still have Ragnarok occurring in that other timeline where he sees fae.
@@That_One_Guy... Eric Williams and Cory barlog already confirmed this is the last game for the Norse saga arc no 3rd game pals.
Who came after finishing Ragnarok.
I did
That was awesome!! Like some of the other comments, you are definitely good at predicting!!!
Insane story you came up with i literally feel like i played the game already can't wait to see the comparison to ur theory and the game
I don't know if you noticed in GOW 2018 mimir said about jormungandr:" him and thor they have an unpleasent history between them or they will anyway"
it was a clear statement that there is something about time travel
Wow, really good prediction. I can 100% see the split between gameplay when Atreus goes with Tyr etc.
Honestly I'd be happy with this. Now I'm expecting the actual story to hold up to your theory or go beyond it or I'll be disappointed XD
But if the father and son does split with an argument I will be sad
Might not have gotten it right but I certainly would’ve loved to see this story as a game!!
DUDE, no matter how right or wrong you are, I absolutely enjoyed listening to your story prediction! Kudos!
I think they’ll show him but not really. Kind of like a Thanos/Ozai-esque buildup
This was amazing.. We know you worked really hard for this.. Thank you so much for this amazing story prediction 🙌
Glad you enjoyed it!
I was so excited about the "Santa Monica clip" , you really got my hopes up for a second
Man if this is true or anywhere near it..im blessed man. Ive been waiting so long for this kind of content! Thanks for keeping us so interested!
The fight between Kratos and Thor will be epic 🔥
I personally don’t think that they will jump into different timelines, but good video
They have too to explain a few things
They literally will have to in order to explain who blew the horn while the player is taking Atreus to Freya to heal him
That’s a very good story prediction!but how will you do more god of war ragnarok theories after this video?will you theorize on different outcomes that could take place other than this prediction?
that was actulally kinda accurate good work!
You Didn't Talk About A LOT Of Things, And Yet This Was Still Interesting.
I love God of War so much, my childhood... Since 11 years for me!
Holy shit that's so big brain
Damn thats sounds good
Sounds insane, but atreus becoming fenrir is not possible. Except if they stray far from the mythology. Because fenrir is loki's son and atreus is loki. But atreus could become a giant wolf since that is how he even made fenrir by shape-shifting into a giant wolf.
Plus Fenrir already exists
@@mauriciomacedo6673 But the wooden murals or whatever they called (I forgot) don't specify when are they happening. Notice that they show past (with Thor being crushed by giant) and future (Ragnarok). When it comes to Skoll and Hati I don't see a reason that they could not be just a wolfs from Jotunheim cought by Aesier gods. The story says that Odin cast them to the sky to chase sun and moon. It wasn't their choise. Remember that the writers can do whatever they want with this material, so posibilities are endless.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the voice acting?. That was amazing
Honestly that’s why I’m so excited for this game, to see Freya, I’m sure the other Valkyries will help us out
There are some really good pieces of prediction here, like it would actually make sense that Atreus is holding Tyr since mural on the wall has no arm
P.S. 17:15 idk why but that just sounded hilarious to me, Atreus will try to kill his father and Freya will come in and say No
Tht was actually a story i would love to play boi!!❤
I can't describe my love for this game, but I don't even come close to you brother. That was some great story telling. Been watching your videos for a long time. Dont wanna be a simp but thank you for doing all that you do here.
Holy shit! This prediction gave me goosebumps! Awesome job! Love it!
Personally, I like the idea of Kratos meeting two older men in a desert and becoming the three wise men. David Jaffe had that idea I think.
Really well thought out and delivered synopsis of what you think could/ will happen. I still think there will be a big twist however.... something along the lines of odin actually masquerading as tyr just because he can.
well done
I got goosebumps from just listening a prediction, I can't imagine how it will feel to play the actual game. Can't wait!
A pretty good prediction. This has hyped me up for the game even more. Kudos to you my man!
Kratos vs Freya be like
"How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old lady?"
Man, crazy looking back and seeing you may be worse at predicting things than MatPat from FilmTheory/GameTheory/FoodTheory lol.
SOMEONE GIVE THIS MAN A PRODUCTION TEAM..HE MIGHT MAKE HIS OWN GOW ☠️🐐
🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That is probably the best kratos impression I’ve ever heard
legendary video 🥶
when your in tears from a prediction. well done kuba
I have a feeling that Kratos will just call Angrboda "child" like he did call Pandora before.
Don't forget Kratos called Calliope "child" as well.
I have a feeling there will be a scene where kratos remembers his daughter thru his interaction with angrboda
Well done, impressive, I think in future they should consider adding you on the team of GOW especially as the writers.
Kaptain Kuba: This is where I end my prediction...
Shady Santa Monica sniper: *angry Kratos noises****
Dude HOLY COW this is a really great prediction I'm very excited to see if a small amount of what you said will be apart of the story. The opening will be something like that or over looking the city Kratos does in the trailer. :D
This is actually a very accurate theory that I feel strongly that can happen. Some parts maybe different, but most of it feels accurate
If Atreus and kratos go back to hellheim it would be pretty intense if the show a vision of kratos killing his wife and daughter. It would be a great way to put a divide between the two as well. Also have you noticed kratos has a bandage around one of his arms again? Didn't he get rid of them in the last game?
Great prediction but when does the “travel to Greece” and Athena part comes?
You have a good kratos impression
Can't believe you got Christopher Judge to be in the video
I love this! I'll be happy if we get much on the real game when it comes out. Well done 🤝
@@christianray8973 That wasn't kratos on that mural, his waist armour was different from the other murals and he didn't have tattoos. Might be Tyr
Yes it must if the game is going to go anywhere close to the mythos then we should see Hel the goddess as well
Welll this is too good for someone who dint even get a word of the script Proud of U man keep growing, But I think U missed something About Syndri and Brock maybe even they may play some role
This story is amazing. I love the voice change and the predictions. I actually got goosebumps
Not a bad prediction at all bro. I actually love your intro of the game with Baldurs funeral 🤝💯
That might be the cost of finishing the game. You’re alone again and it’s harder fits the theme better.
It's upsetting that this is the case :(
I was happy with what we got
I played god of war 2018 in 2018 just hacking and smashing til end credits. Replayed it last week and never thought that we will be playing into a timeloop on the sequel. Love your vids, i am very entertained.
Kaptain Kuba to Santa Monica - "You challenge me, mortal? A God of Prediction?"
