Beating Sigrun felt amazing, awesome fight, my favorite of the game. I fully geared and maxed everything before I fought her, hoping that it was a challenging fight, and even still it was harder than I expected, lol. Love the disrespect in the intro where she immediately drags your face across the floor lol.
Bro same I put some time in Nifelheim and Muspelheim and fully maxed Deadly armor and reached lvl 8 then I beat Hildr in first attempt, Olrun in first Rota in second then went to face Sigrun and beat her in sixth attempt, I was hoping for a tougher fight but still beating her felt so amazing.
I know it's not part of the main story but you missed FEAR KRATOS from the challenge of exile in gow3. talk about being on point with execution and changing the combos because the AI is so smart!
Gow 2 is the game of the series imo, it has everything, the narrating, story is awesome, not too slow and effective. The 1st boss is epic, last boss is epic. A lot of cool mechanics throughout the game. But just like everything in life, gow 2 also inst perfect. And thats where the mole cerberus came in lmfao.
Ares fight I’ll Never forget. When kratos grabbed the sword bridge I was like what!! Make one with Ragnarok soon. That trippy snake I loved aa a boss fight. The inter dimensional snake thing can’t recall it’s name And the first fight against Baldur that you mentioned in your list was so cool when you’re smashing through all the trees and huge rocks. That had me hyped from the get-go. Opening fight with Thor in ragnarok also had me button myself. Simply amazing. Once again, a spectacle like you said.
Could have talked about the scale of the final Baldur fight. Thalmur destroying the fighting arena several times, climbing the massive chisel, and most of all the world serpent arriving to get rid of Thamur in a colossal battle between a mind controlled giant and this massive world eating snake we’ve seen the entire game. I agree with its placement, but boy could it have used a bit more explaining.
I know everyone’s like “Egyptian pantheon would be cool next” but I can’t be the only one thinking seeing Kratos tackle Japanese mythos would be amazing. Kratos and Boi swimming up the waterfall to Dragons Gate would be epic af.
Revisited this video after watching the interview with Barlog and Williams. All I have to say is we can expect some crazy good boss fights with Ragnarok under Williams' direction because he mentioned in the interview that he worked on the Minotaur Guardian and made huge impact on the fighting in general with the GOW series. this is gonna be hyyyyyyype
I think the Barbarian King deserves a bit more recognition from both the game and players because in a way it's sort of saying that Kratos no longer needs to beg the Gods to save him, he's more than strong enough to beat any enemy, even those that had gotten within an inch of killing him. Which is kind of a big deal for Kratos as a whole.

I can't believe he forgot the hardest boss in the entire franchise THE DEER Thing is so powerful that Kratos can't even attack him once And the way it taunts kratos by appearing here and there but running away, man that's some psychological horror right there and when it finally gets caught, it DISAPPEARS after the troll throws it away where did it go? did it replace Atreus? kratos? BOTH?!? or... did it go invisible? and has stalked us throughout the entirety of GOW4? Truly the most vile threat.

It´s great too see that the Sisters of Fate is also your favorite boss. I have to say that Sigrun was too hard for me (and I´ve finishen a fair amount of challengin games), She was my last goal to get the Platinum of God of War, but I tried for a couple of days, playing like 6 hours each day, finally I lowered the difficulty to normal, and only then I won. I don't feel that good about it, but also I don´t completely feel like I cheated, since the game allows you change the difficulty at any moment, actually what makes me feel worse is that I´d like the game to let you play only in one difficulty, then I'd have had to kill her in hard.
Well if you play give me god of war difficulty you don’t have the option to change it. Makes the first part of the game axe throw simulator but after that it really brings the combat to its peak
@@beastieking1 I know, but I'm not a very skilled player, usually normal or hard difficulties are the ones for me. tbh the only hard valkaryes were the one that spawned mobs (didnt have a blade heavy runic so it was pain, around 15 tries,i sadly glitched her when she was 20% hp,i went in to finish a random mob and for some reason it grabbed her instead and finished her off at 20%)
and the one that started to dash red wing attack you (had to learn if she dashed right she red wing attacks, left dash she does normal block - red wing attack, took me like 20 tries cuz 15 of those were me not realizing that pattern)
after that rest of the valkaryes were 1-10 tries depending if i was leveled up or not
sigrun is just too eazy if you are lvl 8 i guess cause her valhalla strike dosent kill you at full hp (tbh the only bullshit part cause she can do both muspelheim valhalla and normal valhalla spam but eazy to dodge nontheless especially with the dash distance enchantment)
GOW 3 was the first game I played in the franchise, the Poseidon boss fight is the reason I became a fan lol. Cool to see it again
Kratos considering Pandora as his own daughter got me very emotional and the rage he goes into against Zeus is on Another level!
I know it's not part of the main story but you missed FEAR KRATOS from the challenge of exile in gow3. talk about being on point with execution and changing the combos because the AI is so smart!
Me :- Kap whyd you break up with her ?
Kap :- she lacked the mechanics on bed
Thank you editor for making this re-upload
Gow 2 is the game of the series imo, it has everything, the narrating, story is awesome, not too slow and effective. The 1st boss is epic, last boss is epic. A lot of cool mechanics throughout the game.
But just like everything in life, gow 2 also inst perfect. And thats where the mole cerberus came in lmfao.
The fact that he didn’t gaf ab anything and just wanted the smoke, he was turning into ares and destroying cities tho, glad he didn’t turn into him
Ares fight I’ll Never forget.
The tag team of kratos and deimos when fighting thanatos in his second form is just the best tag team scenes in the game
💯
i wish poseidon was later in the game. his fight had so much potential and his design is super cool
I'm glad you put the Hercules Boss battle up so high! It was crazy!!
Beating Sigrun on GMGOW NG+ provides the most unexplainable sensation ever (yes, she is MUCH harder on new game+)
Insane!
I know everyone’s like “Egyptian pantheon would be cool next” but I can’t be the only one thinking seeing Kratos tackle Japanese mythos would be amazing. Kratos and Boi swimming up the waterfall to Dragons Gate would be epic af.
the hades fight is what I remember until today in every detail
What made the Sisters boss fight much better was the soundtrack during the final phase where you fight them in a 2v1. The end truly begins.
Can you do a tier list of the runic attacks/summons?
Separate from the blade and axe? So like which one is least to best in most scenarios or such?
The Melody of Pandora in the back tho, love it.
I would love to see your opinions on the boss fights from God of War Ragnarok! Where would they place? I personally love them, each one brings so much emotional weight
They are very dufficult. Imagine, I play on normal mode and I loose contactly.
I'm so happy that Basilisk from PSP is high on the list, playing it as a child and seeing the gore it displayed was a new experience for my young self
Hacatonquires wasn't a bug, he was the whole level/prison, *the bugs just took control over him* .
Still, he only had 1 head so fair enough
Your magni impression is impeccable
Is that Pandora's music playing in the background in the editing at a reaaaally low volume? I'd notice that theme anywhere.
Need a remake of this video
My first God of War that I actually did play was the 2018 one.
And honestly, I gotta say that the dragon fight in early-mid game was kinda lit.
Hey is it possible to get the background music? Its very majestic and soothing
Am I the only one who feels like the ship captain will eventually come back for revenge on Kratos?
i cant belive it i watch without skip any sec. thx bro
Hercules boss is just insane .when I fought Hercules I was surprised how insane it is
That part where you have to protect your family in the Ares fight was the hardest part of the whole series for me.
💯
19:54 i don't think that the editor finds it skeptical 😂
Cool, I'll watch tmrw, it's late at night now 😅
How does Helios count as a boss but Hephaestus doesn't?
Or the last spartan
If the only inputs the boss requires are pressing square a few times then hephaestus isnt a boss
@@qui-gonjinn8350 then Helios shouldn’t be a boss fight
@@barberro3548 you do more than just that. There is a unique mechanic where u block the sun w the right stick and u also need to shoot him with an ballista. It kind of is a boss
@@qui-gonjinn8350 no it’s really not you never even fight him you shoot him then rip his head off he’s not a boss
The sisters of fate really cannot be topped but the music from the Zeus fight in gow 3 is just.......... Words cannot explain how hyped I get hearing this masterpiece
Ares is simply, by far, the best designed boss in the God of War series.
Hades and Zeus are way better
Keep it up bro ❤
I remember when I finished god of war 1 and I defeated Ares for the first time when I was 10 I fell in love with the franchise and played almost every game. it wasn't until 2016 when I saw the jaw dropping trailer for the God of War ps4 and I immediately teared up went on a nearby store and got a ps4 just for this game absolutely no regrets! Probably will get the ps5 for Ragnarok too
But you know that gow ragnarok is confirmed that it's coming to ps4 too so even if you couldn't get ps5 you can have fun with it on ps4
@@lordofbrightnes7338 Yea ik but I really want to experience the game in its full potential I don't think ps4 version is going to look as good as ps5 and the fact that I'm a PC gamer the 30fps cap on ps4 always makes me have a headache...
@@Alirezarz62 that's sad to hear good luck with finding a ps5
thanks for including one of the Valarie's . they are SO awsome
when you try so hard but still get demonetized, great video tho!
Kratos used the same move on the dragon boss in GOW4 that he used on Scylla
Interesting callback
Great work👍🏾👍🏾
Defeating the valks hurt my head so much that I decreased the difficulty 😭😭😭😭😭
with god of war ragnarok having so many just completely badass fights, i have a feeling your top ten now would include at least a few from that game
You got the #1 boss right. GOW 2 in my opinion is still the best in the series. It’s pretty much a perfect game.
Best part of the video: all the censored “ OOFS”
I can't believe he forgot the hardest boss in the entire franchise
THE DEER
Thing is so powerful that Kratos can't even attack him once
And the way it taunts kratos by appearing here and there but running away, man that's some psychological horror right there
and when it finally gets caught, it DISAPPEARS after the troll throws it away
where did it go? did it replace Atreus? kratos? BOTH?!? or... did it go invisible? and has stalked us throughout the entirety of GOW4?
Truly the most vile threat.
It was your dad😂
Good list!. The Sisters and Zeus 3 are still my best GOW battles .
Imagine forgetting the Magni and Modi boss fight at Thamur's Corpse...
he didnt?
The melody of pandora is just perfect in the background 😍
The Baldur boss fight was way too easy. Sigrun was optional, but it was the hardest boss I’ve ever fought. This includes dark souls.
Same for sigrun, but i felt that baldur in gmgow+ was still a challenge. Maybe not in the lower difficulties. He's really fast and has a ton of hp, it's easy to make mistakes against him
Hmmm might need to give gmgow a go then, I thought she was relatively easy on the difficulty below
@@Beyondqqq sigrun hella tough
Sigrun was the hardest boss I've fought in a very long time, but I'd rate Alma from ninja Gaiden black as harder.
When ragnarok comes out. You better update this video my dudes it’s awesome.
The censorship, top notch, be careful, if you have any cuts that have 0.1 of a millescond with a black screen, it'll get the video removed for nudity!! (Joke from my last tweet 😂)
RUclips is frigging ridiculous
Great video !
I mean, it feels wrong to leave out all of the individual Valkyries. Some of those fights are SO HARD.
11:41 That one room before the Hades fight filled with those hands in GoW3:
I wouldn’t have included those first two as boss battles.
10:33 "break the ice from his legs"
You know the blue shining thing that you can only destroy with the Nemean Cestus is Onyx and not Ice...
I also have played other hard games with only one difficulty like the NES Ninja Gaiden or the Souls games, but I probably spend more time and effort to beat those games in comparison with other people. That's why the hardest maybe too much for me 😅
How did he have the Blades of Chaos at the Dark Elf King battle at 03:50 ? You unlock those later?
New Game+ mode.
And yeah, it's a glorious moment
Baldur at the mountain is not a boss fight, it's a set piece made to get you from point A to point B and have him in a position where you can learn more about him without having the game switch focus from Atreus and Kratos
Yes it is
“Gullveig is just a reskinned revenant” proceeds to show a clip of you failing miserably
