@@marvinlynch1305I’d say Tom Brady became Tom Brady starting in Super Bowl XXXVIII and on into 2004, but also in the 2004 playoffs, especially the next week in Pittsburgh, but yes the Patriots defense under Romeo Crennel was ELITE in 2001, 2003 and 2004. The difference between the Colts and the Patriots was the defenses and the play calling by the Patriots as they controlled the 2003 & 2004 playoff games

I'm only 9 seconds in to this video. This is why ESPN was popular. In the time before RUclips, their ability to put on a highlight show was unprecedented. They perfected the art form with NFL Primetime. The music combined with Chris Berman should, honestly, be inducted in to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

I was only 5 when the Pats won their first title, 8 when this game happened. I always wish I was a few years older to have experienced the rush of euphoria this dynasty brought. I got a taste during the mid to late 2010s but the league was much more competitive at this point. The magic of the early 2000s Patriots will NEVER be replicated

I was there, sitting 20 rows behind the goal post when Dillon made that breakout run and Brady’s sneak. It was soooo damn cold. What a game.

Pass interference and defensive holding was more stringently enforced after the 2003 AFC title game between these two teams and the Colts were held without a TD this time around!

Peyton completely deserved his choker status after this game. Then he blew it AGAIN the next year against the 6 seed. Pretty sure he was 0-4 at one point

The Patriots wanted it that way. They wanted king offensive drives. And in three of the quarters they got them. The Colts defense didn’t hold them in the game, the Patriots offense kept the Colts defense on the field.

Tom Brady and the Patriots owned Peyton Manning and the Colts in the 2003 and 2004 seasons 🤦‍♂️ 😂Why couldn't Manning get passed the Patriots those years.Thats incredible it's like Bill Belicheck had a had a game plan specifically direct on stopping Peyton Manning and the Colts.I bet if New England wasn't that good in those years the Indianapolis Colts would got a super bowl birth or a super bowl win. Those 2 years were tough for Peyton Manning period
