Both Tifa and Aerith calling Cloud an Asshole for going through Tifas stuff made my damn day!!!
I couldn't bring myself to do that. Was pretty annoyed that it was a requirement for finishing that scenario.

A perfect mixture of shame and acceptance of the facts of something that happened years ago. It’s a small thing, but I loved it.
His VA is phenomenal for creating such a soft voice line with so much shame
I really love how faithful and modern the scene is in Rebirth. Plus the music is so beautiful yet haunting as the whole town feels like a ghost town before Sephiroth burned it to the ground.

I used to believe the underwear was associated with adult diapers or granny panties, but I believe it was actually a supersized bra. However, Tifa was created by Japanese developers, and the women in their country wear diapers for some reason.
This piano is going to have a trophy, and i'm not ready to be in there for hours :(
It makes the pullup trophy look like a first grade math problem
I think you just need an A rank. I got like A rank after the first 30 to 40 minutes. I think as long as you mainly get greats and a few goods. Takes pracrice. I played piano for 9 years and was trash at this mini game at first. My brain said hold down the notes to make the notes resonate and last longer like a read piano. Had to train my brain.

Took me over an hour to get it perfect - and the songs will only get harder 😭
Tried it once in the demo and got a C... Also my inputs where many times misinterpret, I pushed up and the game said I pushed down 🙈 also with two wheels to move both thumbs in different directions...
That mini game is harder than playing an Ocarina...
To see and react to both wheels at the same time is hard enough already. Why not just use all buttons the controller has to make a guitar hero like version? Would be way easier than this...
The trick to getting better is to increase the speed. I set it to 3/5 and scored a A rank the second time. It starts at a 1/5 and you have to be too precise. Hope this helps, I'm currently shooting for the ⭐
I got star rank after 8 tries lol
I will try in the full game. Got star after an hour on setting 1 speed.
I set it to 4/5 so that everytime you instinctively react to a piano note, you land it perfectly. Doing it slow increases the chances of you getting less perfects and more goods but, for the star rank, you need to get all 46 perfects for Tifa's Theme
I'm so fucking ready to cry playing this game alongside all of y'all. Had a rough year, but I'm happy that I'll at least be around to start this adventure with everyone.
I am terrible with the piano mini game. I got a C on all three attempts. I have terrible hand eye coordination lol. If there is a trophy for getting a S rank on all the piano mini games I am never getting the platinum on this game lol.

It's not you, it's poorly implemented
If you have someone to help you with the one button it massively helps. One person can focus on one section while the other person does the other one.

No, it’s quite difficult, even on the slowest speed, it’s difficult to get all great hits.
Normally players are allowed to play music game with D-pad/buttons but this time we have to do this with sticks,that sucks😅
Got all great on my 3rd try and that's just the score for S rank.Hope we don't have to get all S rank of this mini game for a trophy
It’s not easy because the notes come earlier than they should in the melody. If you know the melody and have good rhythm, it actually works against you.

Maybe you get a different dialogue when he's done playing but if you score perfect there's nothing extra in the demo. I don't even really consider it wasting time. I can't believe how much detail they put into just playing the piano.... 😮

I think it’s God’s Hand. It’s not the most powerful weapon. Tifa’s Seventh Heaven can be found at Midgar Sector 5
No the exact opposite. Piano is for Tifa's Final Limit. Her legendary weapon is is in Sector 5 where the machine gun is

i mean it doesnt really matter as its just a small part of the whole game. combat feels really amazing.

There was never an underwear scene to begin with. It's only a textbox that pretty much similar to this. You clearly don't know wtf you're talking about here.

Tifa (or Aerith for that matter) calling Cloud an asshole is so unlike her personality tbh.
As a professional musician of 15+ years, I have to say that the execution of this mini game is really bad & clunky. Timing is off. If you keep timing with your body, you're too late to press proper notes. So to be "correct" ingame, you should press the button earlier than you would a piano key in real life, & it throws me off so much because you can't groove and keep time to it. Please for the love of god, fix this Square. As a musician. I beg you...

Not a pro musician, but played in my earlier years. You're 100% right. It's almost an instrument on its own. Once you get into it, you can find the timing, but you're correct in that it's not precise. Plus having to use your thumb to play notes AND change octaves is just not workable.
Who cares. Appreciate the game bro.
It's just a mini game. There are more important things the devs needed to pay attention to.

Not gonna lie, I found Remake to be somewhat disappointing. Rebirth looks as tho it's going to be phenominal tho. I can't wait. 😊 they also should have made the animations for that beautiful bass cleff. That was beautiful.
I wish I was excited for this... but the fate ghost stuff killed the first part for me... I just wanted the original game with better gameplay and graphics.
I mean, only the main points of the story are different. The rest are all pretty much faithful recreations scenes of the original games
But this way its even fresh for you
