I’m obsessed with the florale variant. On my 3rd full bottle already. I put this mainly on the ends of my hair and my face and neck. It’s weird that most people i watched prefer not to put this on their faces but this LITERALLY saved my purging skin that lasted months. I’ve been using a lot of k beauty skincare + actives which broke me out badly. I’ve spent a lot of anti acne skincare to calm down my skin (you name it, centella, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, etc) but another zit comes out of nowhere over and over. Then I remembered I got this Nuxe bottle which I havent used in a while due to kbeauty frenzy, so I decided to give it a go and pat it on my face. I’m not kidding when I woke up the next morning, my acne FLATTENED. My skin calmed tf down and I’m not looking dull. It restored my skin barrier which I never achieved with ceramides. It’s a lifesaver and I promise never to drop this out of my routine ever again!! ❤

Wow!! That is so interesting! Thank you so much for that feedback. I'm going to try it on my face on your recommendation. I've just been soooo nervous about the amount of perfume in there. I do love it on my decollete. I'm also going to try it on my hair again. I haven't done that in a while. I stick to my usual Palmers hair conditioner. Thank you for the vote of confidence! I'm definitely going to use it more 🤗

Thank you for your feedback, it's greatly appreciated. I also have acne-prone skin and a semi-weak skin barrier, so I decided to buy this oil today. Let's see how it goes 😄

I agree, a lot of the people do not talk about using on face. But I have been using this for months, sometimes no other skincare product, just this and my skin has never been better! I even try to sculpt my chin with my fingers while I use it and eventhough I havent lost weight, my double chin has gone! This product is amazing, and it is a dry oil, I live in a tropical country and this still does not cause any breakouts! Love this!

I just tried the Nuxe Prodigieux Florale oil and WOW. The scent is divine. More citrus than floral in my opinion but it smells absolutely delightful.

Thanks for this. I use the original oil on my hair and body and have seen the florals in store and wondered about them. Never thought of adding the oil to the bathwater - great idea!

Hi Tracey. How have you found using it in your hair? Is it similar to using a kerastase oil?

    • @traceybiller9458
      @traceybiller9458 Год назад +1

@@Fifty-sense As Loraine says, the Nuxe oil must be used super sparingly. In my experience it doesn't leave the same stickiness or dullness some other finishing products do. I don't feel the need to rewash my hair the next day when I use Nuxe. In fairness I'd need to retry Kerastase again to remember how it was! Lovely scent I seem to remember .........but Nuxe beats them all.

I used the kerastase oil yesterday and have been a little underwhelmed by it. It doesn't really soften my dry ends at all. In fact it seems to dry them out. I'm going to try Nuxe next time. Thanks!

Hi Sue, I do love this fragrance, too. The oil. Will try in bath. I am currently into Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess. I am appreciating your knowledge about the note break down.

Hi Sue I have had the original many years ago and used it sparingly - I've never been someone to douse myself in perfume anyway (too many years as a nurse and with sensitive skin). Nowadays my skin is so reactive I can't really wear perfume much on my skin, so I wear a little in my hair. For a night out I will apply a little perfume on my stomach (over a layer of petroleum jelly) and some to my hair (this occasional use on my skin is relatively well tolerated with that barrier in place). I prefer lighter more oceanic or citrus scents for myself and not oriental nor very floral scents. As I use fragrance free skincare, bodycare and shampoo/conditioner (my scalp also is very eczema prone) my tolerance to perfume has decreased over the years and a very small amount is more than enough for me. I only have one perfume nowadays and it's the Liz Earle No 1. My skin can turn a lot of perfumes off and any I do wear have to have a high oil and/or alcohol content eg Chanel or the Liz Earle. I can love perfume on someone and it stinks on me lol. My body chemistry isn't the best with most perfumes tbh. I do miss wearing a spritz of perfume daily, but I've got used to it and as long as I smell fresh/clean I'm fine with that. Most perfumes last pretty well on the hair and mixing some with petroleum jelly on the skin can also enhance longevity btw. Not crushing it (by spraying and rubbing wrists together) also allows it to develop more naturally. Used these two ways, the small amount I do use lasts all day/evening. I'm glad you're enjoying the new floral variation, of a classic I'm sure we've all tried at some point. Best wishes.
ps I wouldn't use that on my face either and haven't ever done so. x

Hi Loraine. I like your idea of applying over petroleum jelly. I can tolerate perfume directly on my skin and I usually apply it to my tummy or my hair or on my clothes. I used to apply it to my neck and decolette about 25 years ago, but due to the alcohol content, I started getting pigmentation there. The sun didn't help either. So more often than not I spritz directly onto my clothing, avoiding the skin. I love a spritz of something in the mornings and feel a little naked if I don't do it! I have a few to get through and I just love this floral version for summer!

At GVA airport now and just got one. Just sprayed on my hands. Super beautiful. I got it for 26CHF, 100ml at Duty Free GVA.
Thank you so much. Can’t agree more on your review!!! Let’s go ladies and let’s have this handy.

I’ve heard of the original. I believe it has a slight shimmer to it and is perfect to wear when going out on a hot Summer night and showing a bit more skin.
So far, the only fragrance I can sleep in is Clarins tonic oil which is my holy grail 12+ bonus 2. I might give this a try oneday.
My Clarins miss is unfortunately most of their eyeshadow pallets! Like you mentioned most of them have a weird red undertone or electric blue! Some of the colors are weirdly miss matched. The only one I’ve been tempted to buy was their essential palette from 2013! That was the most perfect range of shades made for womankind!

I love the Clarins tonic oil too! I agree with you re the Clarins eyeshadows. They remind me of the huda beauty ones. Everything is pink and red. Even their Khaki palette has red in it 😡😡

How different is the Nuxe Prodigieux Florale perfume from the oil? because the regular oil very similar to the perfume

Hi Shay. The floral perfume perfume is quite different to the oil. The top notes are more lemony. The original perfume smells very similar to the oil, like you say.
