One of the most spiritually-minded men that I’ve ever known went through this tribunal many years ago when his son attended law school. He understood that his “friends” on the Elder body had their hands tied by the militant CO. He accepted the humiliation of the demotion. Fast-forward to the time when his son passed the bar…NOW that same organization that humiliated the former elder was trying to recruit the lawyer son to “serve” at a branch. Hypocrisy of this “Talmudic” rules-based organization is astounding. Thank you for shedding light on the machinations that happen behind the scenes. Invaluable work you’re doing.
If the daughters weren’t pursuing a college education he would still be an elder no matter how outspoken he was . They would prefer his daughters to pioneer and then find a husband and sit down and shut up, sadly many do right after high school and divorced by 25 ,that sadly explains why there’s so many single mothers in this org. Great video thank you ❤
So many including myself don't take the time to learn about themselves and what kind of life they want before having children and getting stuck, although children can teach you a lot but not fair on them.
@@DiffiCULTChildhoodWhich church are preaching the gospel of the kingdom around the world to all nations as Jesus Christ said? Matthew 10:16, 24:14, 28:19-20, Mark 13:10, if not only only only the Jehovah's witnesses..
Oh I remember this! This leaked earlier this year I think. Just imagine being considered a problem and not "Godly" enough because his children are GOING TO COLLEGE. Madness.
You all think your not going to know that the great tribulation is coming? The Second of Chronicles 32 After these things and these acts of faithfulness,+ King Sen·nachʹer·ib of As·syrʹi·a came and invaded Judah. He besieged the fortified cities, intent on breaking through and capturing them.+ 2
Sure, here are ten lessons for your viewers based on the analysis of the training video for circuit overseers: 1. **Critical Thinking**: Always question the motivations behind organizational rules and decisions. Don't accept things at face value, especially when they seem contradictory or harmful. 2. **Power Dynamics**: Understand how power is exercised and maintained within organizations. Recognize the tactics used to control and manipulate members. 3. **Gaslighting**: Be aware of gaslighting tactics, where individuals are made to feel their valid concerns are unreasonable. Trust your instincts and seek outside perspectives if you feel invalidated. 4. **Scriptural Manipulation**: Notice how scriptures are sometimes used selectively to justify organizational decisions. A deeper, contextual understanding of religious texts can reveal these manipulations. 5. **Organizational Accountability**: Leaders should be accountable for their decisions and actions. In a healthy organization, questioning leadership should not be met with punishment. 6. **Emotional Manipulation**: Be mindful of emotional manipulation tactics, such as feigned concern or false apologies. Genuine care involves listening and addressing concerns sincerely. 7. **Importance of Transparency**: Transparency in decision-making processes is crucial for trust. Hidden rules and selective enforcement indicate deeper issues within the organization. 8. **The Role of Personal Conviction**: Personal convictions and decisions, such as pursuing higher education, should be respected. An organization that punishes personal growth may not have members' best interests at heart. 9. **Psychological Impact**: Recognize the psychological impact of high-control environments. Support from mental health professionals can be invaluable for those recovering from such settings. 10. **Community Support**: Building a supportive community outside the organization can provide a safety net and different perspectives. Sharing experiences and knowledge can empower others to question and break free from manipulative environments. By highlighting these lessons, you can empower your viewers to critically examine their own experiences and the structures within which they find themselves.
Well put. I particularly appreciate point #5; "Leaders should be held accountable for their decisions and actions." This is actually what the inspired scriptures say : Hebrews 13: 17,......"those taking the lead among you,..because they will render an account."....Romans 14: 10,......"so why do you also judge your brother? Why do you also look down on your brother?....for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of God.......we shall all render an account to God." 1 Peter 5: 3,...."Shepherd the FLOCK OF GOD, (Not YOUR FLOCK; IT'S GOD'S SHEEP YOU'RE ENTRUSTED WITH!) ..."neither lording it over them".
Soooo, when i was younger, our presiding overseer (now know as a cobe) became a JW in his early 30s, along with his wife and 2 small children. He was a doctor and surgeon. Was previously of the Jewish faith. Anyway, he moved his way up to an elder and presiding overseer quickly. He then got invited to live at Bethel because they needed specifically an OBGYN for the wives there. And that was his specialized field. He and his family lived right outside the bethel farm property in a house because the elder didn't want to live by the bethelite rules. I don't know all the details of him going there but they were there for about 5 years, until the 2 kids where to the end of homeschooling and about to graduate. They came back to our home congregation. He got reappointed as an elder and presiding overseer of our hall and within the year there oldest child went to college!!!! A 4 year college, though his kid did live at home, it was not a community college. 2 years later, his other child went to 4 years of community college. Out of 10-15 elders of various ages in our congregation over the years of approx. 2005-2018 ALL of the elders children went to college. I found it so infuriating, because when i graduated in 1991 (yes, im old🤪) And my guidance counselor told my parents to come in and talk about seeing what colleges would be willing to give me a full scholarship based on the fact i had a 3.9 grade average throughout all my highschool years, my elder father told me i could use it as my opportunity to give her a wonderful 'witness' about me regular pioneering after highschool, which i hadn't even decided on yet, and explain that is why i was turning this possibility of a college scholarship down. He explained to me, that as an elder, his children had to be an example to the congregation and not go to college... And instead pioneer. I was livid! But obeyed. Because that doctor went to Bethel and knew all the governing body members, they were NEVER going to tell him that his kids weren't going to college. Therefore, if he was the gb's exception... Our whole congregation became 'an exception' when it came to elders kids going to college. 🤨 🙄 Tell Falon i hope she feels better soon!!! 💗
@@ucanliv4ever it was NOT mine, it was my father's decision. Even though I was 18, if I wanted to stay living at my parents house, pioneering was the ONLY option while working part time cleaning. And I had been so brainwashed that the 'world' was so evil, I was terrified to go out on my own at that point. Please don't misunderstand, I stayed a JW and met my husband and had 2 amazing children, and we are all out of the organization today very happily but my point is, the double standards, because of that brother personally knowing the governing body members things were different for him and all the brothers in our congregation. All their kids have amazing jobs (for instance, one works high up at Google and another at Westinghouse also in a very lucrative position, both elders), making incredible money and are still active JWs, most elders and pioneers. So, how did higher education hinder them from being a JW? It didn't. Its unfair and hypocritical of them to say to the general publisher one thing, but tell a doctor (that I absolutely love and his family btw) who served in a position at Bethel a different thing.
And they call themselves JW but disobey their GB by viewing and participating with apostates what hypocrites but then again its great they are such disobeying sneaky disloyal trolls.

Analyzing the Jehovah's Witness training video for circuit overseers reveals several characteristics typical of cult behavior within organizational structures. Here are some key cult characteristics: 1. **Authoritarian Leadership**: - **Description**: Cults are typically led by an authoritarian figure or a small group of leaders who demand absolute obedience and loyalty. - **Example**: The circuit overseer's dominance and control over the elders, as seen in the video, exemplifies this characteristic. The overseer's word is final, and dissent is not tolerated. 2. **Exclusivity and Elitism**: - **Description**: Cults often portray themselves as the only true path or possess exclusive knowledge, leading to an elitist mentality among members. - **Example**: The emphasis on following Jehovah's organization and the implication that those outside the organization are spiritually inferior or misguided. 3. **Isolation and Control**: - **Description**: Cults isolate members from outside influences to maintain control and prevent dissenting opinions. - **Example**: The discouragement of higher education and the insular nature of the meetings, where only approved organizational material is discussed, limiting exposure to external ideas. 4. **Manipulative and Coercive Techniques**: - **Description**: Cults use manipulation and coercion to maintain control, including psychological pressure, guilt, and fear. - **Example**: The use of guilt and fear in the video to pressure the elder into conformity, such as implying that supporting higher education is spiritually damaging. 5. **Doctrine Over Person**: - **Description**: Cults prioritize organizational doctrine over individual well-being, often leading to the suppression of personal needs and desires. - **Example**: The organization's rigid stance against higher education, despite personal or familial benefits, reflects this characteristic. 6. **Unquestionable Dogma**: - **Description**: Cults have a set of beliefs or rules that are beyond questioning or critique. - **Example**: The repeated emphasis on following the organization’s guidelines without question, even when they lack clear scriptural basis. 7. **Confession and Surveillance**: - **Description**: Cults often employ confession and surveillance to monitor and control members' behavior. - **Example**: The elders’ meeting discussing the personal decisions of an elder’s family and the pressure to conform to organizational expectations. 8. **Milieu Control**: - **Description**: Cults control the environment and communication channels to reinforce the group's ideology. - **Example**: The structured meetings, the control over who speaks and when, and the reliance on organizational literature rather than open discussion. 9. **Demand for Purity**: - **Description**: Cults often demand high levels of purity and adherence to the group’s ideals, leading to a culture of perfectionism and fear of failure. - **Example**: The criticism of the elder’s family for not prioritizing Theocratic goals and the expectation of absolute conformity to organizational standards. 10. **Us vs. Them Mentality**: - **Description**: Cults create an “us vs. them” mentality, where outsiders are viewed with suspicion or hostility. - **Example**: The portrayal of higher education and external influences as threats to spiritual well-being, reinforcing an insular, defensive posture among members. Understanding these characteristics can help viewers recognize similar patterns in other organizations and critically assess their own environments.
Higher education is only an issue that stumbles everyone because it’s been made a issue . Like the beards . As soon as the GB say it’s ok to have a beard , all of a sudden everyone can grow one and no one is stumbled . It would be the same with higher education. If the GB suddenly said it was ok , then all of a sudden , no one would be stumbled by someone going to Uni

We had several elders that wanted to step down, and the other ones begged them to stay for this very reason. And this was during the 70's, and one sister was going to college to become a midwife, and her father was counseled for it. But was never deleted as an elder! I wanted to go to a prestigious art school, and was counseled against attending, but I knew others were allowed to go get a degree. Nothing has really changed since the 60s, and isn't that what the person in Keego Harbor killed her family over, being shunned because they allowed the children to be educated? Yet they sent that brother to become a org lawyer, or henchman for the society?🤔 Such blatant dblestandard, or do as we say not as we do. Hope Falon recovers soon too!

Falon’s observations is amazing. It’s that they don’t show an appropriate level of submission, and it’s negatively influencing others and “they don’t listen to us”! 😭 I would have a horrible migraine and high blood pressure if I had to worry about such stuff and treat people like they are doing.
I was in (X2) judicial committees where I was ordered by the CO and branch to disfellowship individuals before we met with them. I was done. Could not be a hired gun for the watchtower anymore. Greetings from Colorado.
That’s very interesting. I’d like to understand more about how that process works. Why were you ordered by the circuit overseer and the branch to dis fellowship and individual before you met them?- Jason.
@@DiffiCULTChildhood, I would like to someday visit with you about it. I was an elder for 14 years. Sadly, did some very ugly work for the watchtower corporation. Still have the damn nightmares.

When the many times I asked for for my husbands porn addiction, amongst other things, I felt it was such a waste of time. They didn't care, I didn't feel heard. I'd get angry at them. Then when we separated they came said we couldn't, nor divorce. He initiated it, got very messy with his narc mum and once again I was the baddie. I walked away being df and him after two marriages nothing. Best thing that happened to me. It opened my eyes so much. I'm just angry I wasted so much of my life on that cult.
Thank you for sharing your comment. Are you saying that you were asking for assistance from the elders with your husband’s addiction to pornography? Historically elders are not very good at dealing with any kind of addiction. When I was over indulging in alcohol, their answer was to just shame me until I changed. Of course that didn’t deal with the underlying problems and why I needed to self soothe. Sorry you didn’t feel heard because that sucks. My experiences with elders have always been them telling me things, but never listening. Except for Chaka! But he’s not an elder anymore, so maybe that’s why. - Jason
It’s amazing the big deal the organization has with higher education. You would think the example, by seriousness which they are taking it, was that his daughters are practicing witchcraft and incorporating pagan practices into the JWs’ theological views. They just want to go to school. It makes me angry and hurt seeing this because my father was an elder and circuit overseer. I’ve seen him do this to people. I felt then and now bad for honest people that get on the elders wrong side. They treat them so unfair.
Am often amused at how ‘surprised’ people are at the high control nature of the hierarchy within this cult. For me, the imagery and insistence back to the word ‘watchtower’ evokes the ultimate in control, over observation, manipulation and imprisonment. The people that occupy watchtowers have a very specific agenda.
My guess is that this wasn't created to teach the Elder Committee how to delete an Elder but it was to create a fear in current Elders that if they weren't obedient to the empth degree and they had an inclination to be a little heavy handed or outspoken, then you would be deleted. It's how they operate. They rule by fear. This is why there was no actual wrongdoing.
At 17female 21male got married, month later both DFD. His dad was removed as elder bc "he didn't hv control over his household." After 36yrs his dad was announced no longer one from stage. You might as well DFD his dad. He was devastated. Felt so guilty. We had no clue that could happen, bc obviously elder book is secret.
I had some concerns with local congregation elders, so I decided to bring the issue before the CO. With whom I had open and FRANK discussion , his response was, I quote: " I'm just a messenger ". And that's EXACTLY what they both ( COs and Elders) are to members of the Congregation, EXECUTING orders... Decisions are made prior to meeting up with you.... What you have to say doesn't matter, right, wrong, rational or irrational, will be IRRELEVANT. Therefore meeting with you, is just FORMALITY or Paperwork if you want.... Despite the CO saying to me, "I AGREE WITH YOU" YET it didn't change anything... It's more like " OUR WAY or ELSE"
@@lcpowell Well a number of issues, too many to list them all here, I'm just going to tell you how it all started.. It was a new congregation I had recently moved in, it had around 250 publishers, quite large. --- In my third week, a local brother of 30+ years in the truth had passed away, they made an announcement for his memorial service. --- So I decided to attend the service despite not knowing him personally, when I arrived at the Kingdom hall for the memorial talk, the hall was nearly empty, a mere 50 people showed up, including his none witness family members, so if you take out 20 none witnesses from 50, you are left with 30 witnesses attending his memorial service, for a congregation of 250 publishers, I found it SAD!... Even the elder who made the announcement didn't show up. -- After the service, a local brother approached me and asked me, I quote: " How did you know brother Brown?" I said I didn't, I just came because he was a Jehovah's servant, wasnt he? YES, replied, Ah that's nice, he continued. --- For some reason the very NEXT Watchtower article was about love and how to DISPLAY it. -- So I took that opportunity to bring out my experience with Brother Brown's funeral service, in a very diplomatic fashion. --- What I said in my comment was: "We need to show love to fellow believers at all times, through think and thin, our love for one another should go beyond the walls of the Kingdom halls, not just limited to Hi's, Bye's and See YOU's. Why? because Jesus Christ said Love will identify one as a TRUE Disciple.John 13:34-35 tell us. --- Then I continued, Ecl 7:2 says : "it's better to go to the house of moaning than the house of feasting"......... ....Then I said, for example if we were to lose a loved one in death, wouldn't we want to be comforted by our fellow brothers and sisters?, wouldn't we be happy to see them at memorial service to show their support? if so, why cant we do that for others? -- This is how we SHOW love, the bible says in James 2:26 faith WITHOUT works is DEAD..and the Apostle Paul emphasized the importance of love is in 1Cor 13:1-3... who said that WITHOUT love we are NOTHING . " I CONCLUDED.. --- That was my comment, my intention wasnt to comden anyone but to ENCOURAGE and INCITE people to do GOOD and SHOW practical LOVE...to MOVE people to ACTION, to promote love and UNITY.. -- Many were inspired by it, however, I didn't know that my comment would TRIGGER others, that's where it all began... -- I didn't realize that I unknowingly declared war against the elders... -- Noboby wanted to know who I was and where I had come from before my comment, but since that comment they( Elders) took keen interest in me ( NOT IN A POSITIVE WAY),they wanted to know who I was, where I came from, whether I was baptized brother, visiting, settling in and so on. They got my publisher card, Then there was issue after issue, I ended being virtually shunned, and I saw how colored brothers were treated, it just broke my heart ---- for example A colored brother had a Bible reading, and the counseling elder just ripped him apart, highlighting every bits of mistakes he made, it was hard to listen to, it was humiliating, it broke my heart. -- I asked myself, where is compassion, where is kindness? and where is love? --- So much so I had to speak to the CO about it and many other local issues, but our meeting was FRUITLESS. --- All I remember from him was, "I'm just a messenger " --- Once the elders found out that I had reported them to the CO, our relationship got worse. --- I am NOT the type that leaks shoes for privileges or attention..If you demand respect, you have to DESERVE it.. -- I'm a man of principles, it's Jehovah God and Jesus Christ I FEAR, NOT men. -- If anyone pees on me and tells me it's rain, I will challenge them, my mother use to say, I took a SHOT against Corruption. -- A long time ago, my eldest brother once told me that I will NEVER become an elder . -- NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY... ---- An elder to serve Jehovah God! YES, but to serve the interest of men, NO THANK YOU. --- So these are some of the issues and a lot more I choose not to list at the moment, but over all it wasn't a nice congregation. --- I hear many witnesses saying: Best life Ever, but reality inside many Kingdom halls is far from what meet the eyes.
Romans chapter 12 tells us we all have different gifts. To pick one standard and path for each person as an individual as ludicrous and against bible teachings .
@17:35 If you look at the paragraph before the one being considered here, I think it’s very sinister that the elders are assessed on their attitude towards the moral responsibility of repaying debts that have been cancelled by the creditor . Remember when the GB cancelled all loans issued to congs for their KH . (Despite the fact that it was their own donations in the first place ) But the point is , that it was put to the bodies of elders in congs , that seeing as they were comfortably paying off the loan in the first place , it was ‘suggested’ that the cong continue to set aside the same amount as a donation each month even though the debt/loan had been cancelled . If an elder didn’t want to go along with the ‘suggested’ donation he would most likely be removed by the CO for not following direction
The word deacon comes from the Hebrew root word Tzedaqh, which mean Generosity inspired by God. The original purpose for Elders/deacon's was to make sure that the poor and the needy were being looked after by the congregation
Elders must discourage sheep from pursuing higher education. That's their job and routine. If they don't practise what they preach they loose their freeness of speech as well as the privilege to further prevent education within the flock.
@33:30 Re: HEB 13:17 the Greek word for ‘be obedient’ here actually means to be persuaded by or have confidence and trust in . This is earnt . You don’t just demand obedience . Unfortunately, they’ve lost my trust and confidence so I am no longer persuaded to keep following them

Jason, would you (as an individual) do ANYTHING possible to achieve your goals? Given the opportunity to better yourself and your life, if you found a Magick lamp with a Djinn inside, would you take the 3 wishes & better your life, or throw it away saying that its demonic.....or evil?
First, I love these kinds of questions because it’s fun to analyze interesting hypotheticals. As someone who does not believe in supernatural, I would first want to know what was actually at work inside the lamp. Because in the history of man, no one has ever been able to demonstrate that magic is real. So if I found a “magic lamp,” I’d be very dubious and interested in learning what is actually creating the illusion of magic. Or having magic explained to me and how it functions within the physical universe. Further, if some real being is granting wishes, I’d want to know if something is being demanded in return for this overwhelming generosity. For example, is this a monkey’s paw situation? If I ask for a Porsche will it come with some sort of unpleasantness, like, I can drive my new Porsche all I want but the stereo plays “Barbie Girl” by Aqua at full volume all the time? (Cuz that might not be a deal breaker for me.) But seriously I would not reject the lamp as “evil.” Because I don’t believe that evil is a real thing. I think evil is a concept created by humans to explain damaging behavior that is so abhorrent that it’s hard for most of us to comprehend. Like Chairman Mao killing many millions of people. It’s so hard to imagine something that horrific. But really it was a bad combination of political power and mental illness/psychopathy. In my opinion it’s just hard for us to understand so we just say “evil.” That’s how I felt walking around the holocaust museum in DC. So anyway, if I could determine that it was not a malevolent being at work, I’d ask for my first wish for it to explain itself, its origins, and such. And I would be sure to not make the same mistakes as Jafar. Jason
I'm a Ceremonial Magician who has seen and experienced a lot of trippy shit, including but not limited to a gold colored Djinn that stood a foot tall right in front of me! Magick is Psychological! There are therapists and psychologists! You believe in them. You also believe in Physics & science! Magick is of the mind & very Psychological & science based! The subconscious mind is a powerful tool!
@@SteveEnglehart-ds7ht I think I answered above. ⬆ I haven't been confronted with the supernatural. I have never witnessed anything that even appeared supernatural. As a ceremonial magician, you should be able to present this, right? Also you are an atheist too. Just like me. You presumably are an atheist of Athena or Zeus, Chemosh, Molech, Dianna, or Baal. All authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth. God gave all authority to Jesus and stepped back to let him direct his apostles and disciples. Those aren't Jehovah's apostles or Jehovah's Disciples, they belong to Jesus. TOday's organization has almost completely LEFT Jesus Christ in favor of a higher authority, perhaps even thinking that as witnesses of Jehovah they outrank the disciples of Jesus. Even stating that scriptures don't apply to them because they are being used by Jehovah, their leader. Jesus Christ is OUR leader and directs us, Not Jehovah. God never said to His son "Step back, I will take over command of the flock. Jesus rules now and for a thousand years. Jesus stated that he has another flock that is NO part of the 144,000 and he must bring them also and they will listen to "My Voice" he stated. Not Jehovah's or Jehovah's organization. Only the two flocks of Jesus are mentioned to survive Armageddon, there is no mention of Jehovah's body of sheep surviving. To abandon Jesus or deny him is apostasy .

Sure, here are ten lessons for your viewers based on the analysis of the training video for circuit overseers:

The Second of Chronicles
34 Jo·siʹah+ was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned for 31 years in Jerusalem.+ 2
Wow, that is so damn unfair. Thank you very much for sharing though. - Jason

Fascinating video. Thanks!
Analyzing the Jehovah's Witness training video for circuit overseers reveals several characteristics typical of cult behavior within organizational structures. Here are some key cult characteristics:
1. **Authoritarian Leadership**:
- **Description**: Cults are typically led by an authoritarian figure or a small group of leaders who demand absolute obedience and loyalty.
- **Example**: The circuit overseer's dominance and control over the elders, as seen in the video, exemplifies this characteristic. The overseer's word is final, and dissent is not tolerated.
2. **Exclusivity and Elitism**:
- **Description**: Cults often portray themselves as the only true path or possess exclusive knowledge, leading to an elitist mentality among members.
- **Example**: The emphasis on following Jehovah's organization and the implication that those outside the organization are spiritually inferior or misguided.
3. **Isolation and Control**:
- **Description**: Cults isolate members from outside influences to maintain control and prevent dissenting opinions.
- **Example**: The discouragement of higher education and the insular nature of the meetings, where only approved organizational material is discussed, limiting exposure to external ideas.
4. **Manipulative and Coercive Techniques**:
- **Description**: Cults use manipulation and coercion to maintain control, including psychological pressure, guilt, and fear.
- **Example**: The use of guilt and fear in the video to pressure the elder into conformity, such as implying that supporting higher education is spiritually damaging.
5. **Doctrine Over Person**:
- **Description**: Cults prioritize organizational doctrine over individual well-being, often leading to the suppression of personal needs and desires.
- **Example**: The organization's rigid stance against higher education, despite personal or familial benefits, reflects this characteristic.
6. **Unquestionable Dogma**:
- **Description**: Cults have a set of beliefs or rules that are beyond questioning or critique.
- **Example**: The repeated emphasis on following the organization’s guidelines without question, even when they lack clear scriptural basis.
7. **Confession and Surveillance**:
- **Description**: Cults often employ confession and surveillance to monitor and control members' behavior.
- **Example**: The elders’ meeting discussing the personal decisions of an elder’s family and the pressure to conform to organizational expectations.
8. **Milieu Control**:
- **Description**: Cults control the environment and communication channels to reinforce the group's ideology.
- **Example**: The structured meetings, the control over who speaks and when, and the reliance on organizational literature rather than open discussion.
9. **Demand for Purity**:
- **Description**: Cults often demand high levels of purity and adherence to the group’s ideals, leading to a culture of perfectionism and fear of failure.
- **Example**: The criticism of the elder’s family for not prioritizing Theocratic goals and the expectation of absolute conformity to organizational standards.
10. **Us vs. Them Mentality**:
- **Description**: Cults create an “us vs. them” mentality, where outsiders are viewed with suspicion or hostility.
- **Example**: The portrayal of higher education and external influences as threats to spiritual well-being, reinforcing an insular, defensive posture among members.
Understanding these characteristics can help viewers recognize similar patterns in other organizations and critically assess their own environments.

We had several elders that wanted to step down, and the other ones begged them to stay for this very reason. I wanted to go to a prestigious art school, and was counseled against attending, but I knew others were allowed to go get a degree. Historically elders are not very good at dealing with any kind of addiction. When I was over indulging in alcohol, their answer was to just shame me until I changed. Of course that didn’t deal with the underlying problems and why I needed to self soothe.

Crazy isn't it?
Control mental,,,desde luego q hay mucho control

I had some concerns with local congregation elders, so I decided to bring the issue before the CO.
With whom I had open and FRANK discussion , his response was, I quote:
" I'm just a messenger ".
What were your concerns?
@@lcpowell Well a number of issues, too many to list them all here, I'm just going to tell you how it all started..
It was a new congregation I had recently moved in, it had around 250 publishers, quite large.
---
In my third week, a local brother of 30+ years in the truth had passed away, they made an announcement for his memorial service.
---
So I decided to attend the service despite not knowing him personally, when I arrived at the Kingdom hall for the memorial talk, the hall was nearly empty, a mere 50 people showed up, including his none witness family members, so if you take out 20 none witnesses from 50, you are left with 30 witnesses attending his memorial service, for a congregation of 250 publishers, I found it SAD!...
Even the elder who made the announcement didn't show up.
--
After the service, a local brother approached me and asked me, I quote:
" How did you know brother Brown?"
I said I didn't, I just came because he was a Jehovah's servant, wasnt he? YES, replied, Ah that's nice, he continued.
---
For some reason the very NEXT Watchtower article was about love and how to DISPLAY it.
--
So I took that opportunity to bring out my experience with Brother Brown's funeral service, in a very diplomatic fashion.
---
What I said in my comment was:
"We need to show love to fellow believers at all times, through think and thin, our love for one another should go beyond the walls of the Kingdom halls, not just limited to Hi's, Bye's and See YOU's.
Why? because Jesus Christ said Love will identify one as a TRUE Disciple.John 13:34-35 tell us.
---
Then I continued, Ecl 7:2 says : "it's better to go to the house of moaning than the house of feasting".........
....Then I said, for example if we were to lose a loved one in death, wouldn't we want to be comforted by our fellow brothers and sisters?, wouldn't we be happy to see them at memorial service to show their support? if so, why cant we do that for others?
--
This is how we SHOW love, the bible says in James 2:26 faith WITHOUT works is DEAD..and the Apostle Paul emphasized the importance of love is in 1Cor 13:1-3... who said that WITHOUT love we are NOTHING . " I CONCLUDED..
---
That was my comment, my intention wasnt to comden anyone but to ENCOURAGE and INCITE people to do GOOD and SHOW practical LOVE...to MOVE people to ACTION, to promote love and UNITY..
--
Many were inspired by it, however, I didn't know that my comment would TRIGGER others, that's where it all began...
--
I didn't realize that I unknowingly declared war against the elders...
--
Noboby wanted to know who I was and where I had come from before my comment, but since that comment they( Elders) took keen interest in me ( NOT IN A POSITIVE WAY),they wanted to know who I was, where I came from, whether I was baptized brother, visiting, settling in and so on.
They got my publisher card,
Then there was issue after issue, I ended being virtually shunned, and I saw how colored brothers were treated, it just broke my heart ---- for example A colored brother had a Bible reading, and the counseling elder just ripped him apart, highlighting every bits of mistakes he made, it was hard to listen to, it was humiliating, it broke my heart.
--
I asked myself, where is compassion, where is kindness? and where is love?
---
So much so I had to speak to the CO about it and many other local issues, but our meeting was FRUITLESS.
---
All I remember from him was, "I'm just a messenger "
---
Once the elders found out that I had reported them to the CO, our relationship got worse.
---
I am NOT the type that leaks shoes for privileges or attention..If you demand respect, you have to DESERVE it..
--
I'm a man of principles, it's Jehovah God and Jesus Christ I FEAR, NOT men.
--
If anyone pees on me and tells me it's rain, I will challenge them, my mother use to
say, I took a SHOT against Corruption.
--
A long time ago, my eldest brother once told me that I will NEVER become an elder .
--
NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY...
----
An elder to serve Jehovah God! YES, but to serve the interest of men, NO THANK YOU.
---
So these are some of the issues and a lot more I choose not to list at the moment, but over all it wasn't a nice congregation.
---
I hear many witnesses saying: Best life Ever, but reality inside many Kingdom halls is far from what meet the eyes.
Thank you for doing this
Romans chapter 12 tells us we all have different gifts.

(Despite the fact that it was their own donations in the first place )
But the point is , that it was put to the bodies of elders in congs , that seeing as they were comfortably paying off the loan in the first place , it was ‘suggested’ that the cong continue to set aside the same amount as a donation each month even though the debt/loan had been cancelled . If an elder didn’t want to go along with the ‘suggested’ donation he would most likely be removed by the CO for not following direction
@@glenfinch1468 the euphemism of “supporting ‘the arrangement’ “ can be interpreted very liberally.
The word deacon comes from the Hebrew root word Tzedaqh, which mean Generosity inspired by God. The original purpose for Elders/deacon's was to make sure that the poor and the needy were being looked after by the congregation

(Cuz that might not be a deal breaker for me.)
But seriously I would not reject the lamp as “evil.” Because I don’t believe that evil is a real thing.

Why do you ask? 😲
I'm a Ceremonial Magician who has seen and experienced a lot of trippy shit, including but not limited to a gold colored Djinn that stood a foot tall right in front of me! You say you are an atheist, who doesn't believe in God! When confronted with the supernatural, what would you think it was? A demon & bad? Would you take the wishes?
Magick is Psychological! There are therapists and psychologists! You believe in them. You also believe in Physics & science! Magick is of the mind & very Psychological & science based! The subconscious mind is a powerful tool!
@@SteveEnglehart-ds7ht I think I answered above. ⬆ I haven't been confronted with the supernatural. I have never witnessed anything that even appeared supernatural. If presented with something that seemed supernatural I would ask for evidence that it was. Can you present me with something verifiably supernatural? If real, it should be easily demonstrated. As a ceremonial magician, you should be able to present this, right?
Also you are an atheist too. Just like me. You presumably are an atheist of Athena or Zeus, Chemosh, Molech, Dianna, or Baal. I also do not believe in those gods. Plus I don't believe in YHWH. It's just one extra god for me. - Jason
I've seen this video a while ago
It was released within the last year but it's one we didn't feel like got talked about enough for how awful it was 😂
@DiffiCULTChildhood oh of course, I get it. Elders are puppets and yes men. They will follow "the faithful Slave" right into oblivion.
This Organization is not a sect ! These fellows are not telling the ' Truth ' ! 😊
It’s a CULT!!!!
So what, what's a college degree,or 1000000000000 US dollars in my bank account will be of use when I go to heaven .😂😂😂😂 Not for me man I'll leave on Paradise on earth.
I don’t understand, but I feel like this comment is good positive vibes. So I like it. - Jason
Are you sure this isn’t a skit from Saturday Night Live?
Watchtower helps you to hide your talents
See the book men on strike. By dr helen smith
Can't watch all of this.
That’s fair.

12:30 he send his daughter to higher education...how could he tell others that seeking spiritual things is best? in my point of view he has no freedom of speech....he would be a hypocrite, right?
Sure. But the underlying problem is that high-control group having such a rule in the first place. In my opinion anyway.- Jason
@@DiffiCULTChildhood We need some qualified people who can take care of this world, like electricians or medics, so i don't think that higher education is bad. It is only the fact that jw's dedicated their life to spirituality....but being punished for choosing different it is sad....especially when i know jw's with higher education who are appreciated because they use the knowledge in the benefits of their brothers or the Organization.
@huaho9213, he already has no freeness of speech, nor freeness of choice. He clearly believes that pursuing higher education is a valid, even beneficial, choice that doesn't violate any Bible principles. Yet he is not allowed to speak this opinion freely nor even to make this personal decision for his own family. No JW has freedom of speech, freedom of thought, or freedom of choice in the organization.
@@c.c.2320 There is no personal decisions in the org since everyone who enters there surrenders himself to "God's will".....i agree
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooh! "You're going off the track , brother Brown; by allowing your kid to go to college to prepare for a career! "....."It's obvious you're committing a serious sin by teaching your children to be self-sufficient; and not constantly broke and having to settle for part-time jobs that don't allow them to live comfortably and provide for their future families. They should never be taught to think for themselves!" "That's what the "faithful slave does for us."!! What a terrible sin"!!!!! ARE YOU FRICKIN' KIDDING ME?? THIS IS A MATTER FOR REMOVING AN ELDER?
So now it's wrong to develop "thinking ability and discernment"? (Proverbs 2: 10, 11) So now, it's wrong for our children to develop their "powers of reason"?....Romans 12: 1, 2. So now it's wrong for us or our children to "train our perceptive powers to distinguish between right and wrong?".....Hebrews 5: 12-14!! UNBELIEVABLE! This is why I don't know if I could ever return to this organization with this authoritarian dictatorship that's being set up in the congregations with overseers, circuit overseers, and the pharisaical governing body. (like the Pharisees in Jesus' day). You don't give up your relationship with God just because you train for a career and develop critical thinking skills, DIPWEEDS! My God! It was my pursuit of a career in technology that gave me the reasoning ability to perceive that "what may be known about God is manifest among them. For God made it manifest to them. For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward; and they are perceived by the things made," (or "created"),...so that they are inexcusable."--Romans 1: 19, 20
Where are the scriptures showing it's a sin to get specialized training🤔?
Where? NO-where 😂 (thank you for watching!)

Which church are preaching the gospel of the kingdom around the world to all nations as Jesus Christ said? Matthew 10:16, 24:14, 28:19-20, Mark 13:10, if not only only only the Jehovah's witnesses..
Mormons?

JW Propaganda on shunning, destroys families! They never share this fact at the door or during home Bible studies all the while love bombing them as they
indoctrinate/brainwash them. CSA is a real danger within this cult and they hide behind the two witness rule. That’s just plain stupid since no pedophile is going to invite an audience. How many times have they turned their back on the children and protected these pedophiles and rapists.
Those men at the top (governing body) are now doing damage control. How often are they warning their sheep not to go to the Internet for information?? They’re fully aware that this is how we’re waking up and seeing through the lies.
Do your research people!
Is that all you’ve got?
