I like the show. Even though you work mostly on fords the information applies to all vehicles. Keep up the good work. Tell Cameron he needs a flat top.
Great Job getting that mount out....You and Cam did good... Brings back memories of when I did mine a few years back... I had planed to just install new Rubber Mounts, But found out mine was in the same condition as yours.... ALSO,,,Let me Just say,,, Be glad your's doesn't have Factory A/C....Just one more thing sticking out of the Firewall to work around.... Looking forward to seeing the Install and how it turns out.....
Hey, while your there why not just take the cab off and do all the mounts at once! Then while your there, you can repaint the bottom of the cab and the frame! Then while your there.....lol Nice job guy's keep them vids coming!
The While We Are Here's bout to eat me alive! Remember, we were just going to do the cab mount...Now we have a firewall pad from NPD, a Vintage Air System on the way, and are refinishing the steering column and are thinking about repainting the inside of the cab...
@@AutoRestoMod.... I joke because my last "While you're there" project finally ended with a call to AMK for a complete fastener kit 😱 lol. May as well paint the inside of the cab "While you're there" 😂. Keep up the GREAT work, cya soon.
I bought one of these from Dennis carpenter for the passenger side. It appears the mounting holes for the inner fender apron are on the wrong side. My drivers side looks right and even has the correct e-brake cable hole. Did you have to fill those holes and drill new ones. The holes for mounting the inner fender should be on the right side as you face it and not on the left. I was wondering if I just got a bad one or maybe this is correct for the 1973-79 or the Bronco that they also fit.
Great video! Im working on this job now well not litrilly but over the next few days/weeks ha ha its alot of work nice to see your angle on how to tackle it. Cheers
Very informative and helpful video guys! Thank you. However, both of you are killing me by using that body hammer as a ball-peen hammer, stop it----I mean it---STOP IT RIGHT NOW! Thanks again, fellas.
Well, I'd rather maintain position of the cab. Doing one at a time on a truck that isn't getting the "full frame treatment" makes alignment of the cab easier. There is a good but of room for "ishing" the cab on the frame. Since ours is in pretty good shape, we're opting to just do one at a time.
Hear ya. Our space s honestly quite small. We're at 40x40 and chockablock. One day we hope to be in a place to get a bigger shop and be able to bring in cars to work on.
You guys are a godsend to anyone who owns one of these old Fords.
Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to create this video so I kinda know what I'm in for. Plus not having to remove the cab is a huge relief for me.
Best way to go if you have the way to do it.
I will start mine this spring this really helps alot.. now if I can part 2
Glad I found this channel, I'm just getting into a resto on a 69 Ford F100. NO clue what I'm doing.
Fordification.com is a great source too.

Thanks for showing me ,,, I am not the only one this happens to...
With that said...
Thanks for another great video and information...

We're waiting on a few parts to be finalized on the AC. Then it will go in too.
2 words for Cam-Eye protection. One word for Jeff-Concurs. ahahahaha. Seriously though another great vid guys!
I agree. But Cam, he's got that hard head under the red Brillo pad...

Ah, Yes... The good old " While There "
can never pass up a while there .... lol... !

I've been there .... lol....!

No joke, that is exactly what I did! While I'm here... Jeff has gotten me into more trouble with that little phrase.
What are the torque specifications for both the radiator core support and cab support bushing bolts?

Yeah. The holes for the passenger side are wrong.

Are we really car guys if we don't use the wrong tool for the right job? 😆
You ever notice how your project always snowballs into something else bigger
Oooohhhhyeeeaaaaaah.
Jeff Ford is going to "go in" :)
As often as I can.
I wish my cab mounts were that good 😂 I can stick my hand through it it’s so rusted
Sometimes it's like that on those trucks. These were rusted around the mounts which was what was bothering me about them
Safety First: use Eye Protection when Grinding, Cutting or chipping.
I try to keep up with it, Cam not so much.
another good video as always. hope you guys dodge the Hurricane.
Thanks for the kind words. We hope it dissipates and the east coast as a whole doesn't see any damage.
how come you just don't remove all the cabs

Dam guys i wish i could send my 53 belair to get it going

That’s nothing to what usually they look like
