Dumb questions, but how the heck was Rex taken out so easily like that when all clones wear an insulated body suit that actually tanks the vacuum of space? Rex's falling helmet and shaking hands, yelling at his troopers that he would be the one to do it? This whole arc has been a masterclass in emotional subtlety. Also, Ahsoka and Rex's meditation to find the chip; is it Force based? Other than RoTS and the Kanan comic, I haven't consumed any Order 66 media where it might have been explained.

omg why did I just start watching your reaction now... so great to see another great lady Star Wars fan... There's need to be more of us. Also I noticed your bracelet ... Hell yeah girl!
This whole episode just had such an intense atmosphere of impending doom. The lighting and the silence/little talking at the beginning just built up to the point where they just made us wait for order 66. Fucking brilliant
If you all didn't know what the name of Asoka's men were called, they were known as the 332nd Company which were in the 501st corps, the difference was the unique helmet design (there was probably some more details about them but that's all I got to say)
Brooo I cried like five times during this episode. The relationship that Ashoka and Rex have is so strong. When the two started talking in the bridge area about how they respect each other, that got me crying so hard. Then when Rex turned on Ashoka, that was such a tear jerker for me as well. This was a great episode, probably the best out of Clone Wars. I can’t wait to see what the last episode has to bring.
I got so emotional during this episode aswell dont worry haha I was just so surprised that she heard what was happening when anikin turned, my jaw was on the floor! And of course maul going nuts on the clones was great. Reminded me so much of the Vader scene in rouge one.
You mentioned Chopper did you happen to see him do a roll by in the background of Rogue One? their was also mention of General Sendula over the intercom. When the rebel fleet drops out of Hyperspace the Ghost is in the Armada.
Does anyone love how she looks in this video? 😍 By the way, I love Star Wars: The Clone Wars and this season has been really great, I can’t wait for the finale on Monday.
Rex had doubts since 5s. He suspected that there was truth to what 5s said. And he tried to fight it, he tried so hard and spent his final free moments trying to help ashoka discover the truth. Rex is amazing. He was the only clone who actually resisted order 66.
God I love how they took such a one-off character in Maul, and turned him into such a tragic story about a *struggle for relevancy* against the power of fate that he cannot hope to overcome.
"What I remember about the rise of the Empire is… is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. Not on the flight to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word." ―Anonymous 501st clone trooper The end of the Clone Wars is so sad..... :(
I think why Order 66 is so resonant for most people is because as humans, although I'm sure most of us would never admit or think about it, all have that switch in us. Most of us won't have considered it but we still know it instinctively. Partition of India, The Holocaust, Rwandan Genocide all events in very recent memory, the list could be made endless of stories where neighbor suddenly turned on neighbor, brother on brother, for no other real reason than a switch suddenly flipped.
It just proves one thing when the chip activates the clones are put into a zombie like trance still in control of their thoughts somewhat but not their actions.

Overall, another FANTASTIC episode and I am itching to watch the conclusion!
omg why did I just start watching your reaction now... so great to see another great lady Star Wars fan... There's need to be more of us. Also I noticed your bracelet ... Hell yeah girl!
See this is real Star Wars. The Star Wars that gets you emotional, these sequels could never do that. Great reaction btw, love the channel
I have seen that heart-wretching (yet amazing scene) about 100 times now. The absolute best scene in TCW
I know most people love Rex the most (and with good reason) but Fives has always been my favorite clone. Gone but not forgotten brother!
Your reaction to Ahsoka and Maul hearing the confrontation in Palpatine’s office and the Order 66 scene is pretty much everyone
I got so emotional during this episode aswell dont worry haha I was just so surprised that she heard what was happening when anikin turned, my jaw was on the floor! And of course maul going nuts on the clones was great. Reminded me so much of the Vader scene in rouge one.
I love how Ashoka diverted the weapons fire away from the clones and did more to knock them out or to escape. She doesn't want to kill them
That scene where they're loading Maul onto the ship, with the music and long silences... It's like an alarm. Letting us know what's coming.
I had just finished the episode before I saw the notification!
Glad I'm not the only one who claims Fives as their favorite clone! The amount of nuance and care they took with this show is awe inspiring
“Oh, Maul, you fucking badass”
Immediately after: O:
You mentioned Chopper did you happen to see him do a roll by in the background of Rogue One? their was also mention of General Sendula over the intercom. When the rebel fleet drops out of Hyperspace the Ghost is in the Armada.
Also fun fact the droid GG is named after Kobe Bryant’s daughter when this premiered it was her birthday
Does anyone love how she looks in this video? 😍
By the way, I love Star Wars: The Clone Wars and this season has been really great, I can’t wait for the finale on Monday.
Love how maul and Ashoka were fighting each other and then partnered up to survive the actual chaos of what was happening
Fives is insanely underrated and due to his actions he's THE noble definition of a Martyr 💯😢🤘
3 years later and this episode still makes me cry
Rex had doubts since 5s. He suspected that there was truth to what 5s said.
And he tried to fight it, he tried so hard and spent his final free moments trying to help ashoka discover the truth.
Rex is amazing. He was the only clone who actually resisted order 66.
This was THE video when I subbed to LJ 3 years ago)
Such a relatable and sincere emotions at 4:00
Confusion
Realisation
No word Shock
God I love how they took such a one-off character in Maul, and turned him into such a tragic story about a *struggle for relevancy* against the power of fate that he cannot hope to overcome.
the droid you said sounded like chopper is voiced by dave filoni who also voiced chopper
As far as I’m concerned, Order 66 wasn’t just a betrayal of the Jedi. It was a betrayal of the Clones as well.
"What I remember about the rise of the Empire is… is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip; We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word."

The end of the Clone Wars is so sad..... :(
Matt Lanter saying "What have I done?" always gives me chills.
I needed a Smoke and a lie down after watching that, absolute emotional rollercoaster 😭
Mauls kills in this episode were truly brutal
