- Berries have played a huge role in the Pokemon games since items were introduced, and Game Freak has slowly been adding more and more over the years. But what does it take to collect them all? In Crystal, you can find a gold berry, in ruins of alph. Noticed, that wasn't mentioned

seeing as even if each pokemon in your party has a different ID, its still a 1/10,000 chance of the island appearing (and although supposedly you can soft reset the generated number of a new day) its likely gonna take a while or longer depending on luck

3:40 Mystery Gift Miracle Berry: Chances of getting one are one in sixty, not Japan Exclusive because I've done the Mystery Gift several times (I had Gold version then) and I remember getting no less than four Miracle Berries.
By the way, green strawberries do exist. They're a variant that grows on vines that encircle a very specific specie of apple tree. I've only seen these a few times, but I know for a fact that they're inedible. Highly toxic. Actually, the apples from the aforementioned apple tree are also inedible. The skin is harder than marble.
I got three mystery berry with Pokémon Stadium 2 mystery gift. Also, you can get one Gold Berry in Ruins of Alpha (Crystal Only).

One thing to note about Mystery Gift and the MiracleBerry:
Mystery Gift in Gen 2 is not like Mystery Gift from Gen 3 onwards; it can be done with another player nearby using the IR port once per day, giving each trainer a random item (this feature is in every game region - it even works on the 3DS virtual copies!). According to Bulbapedia, MiracleBerry is "Uncommon" from Mystery Gift.
Poliwager I honestly would’ve never figured that out. There was so little info on that item, so I invested all the time into trying to get one off of Celebi hahah. But that’s pretty cool!

I would love it if they added the ability to actually farm and crossbreed berries to get th more rare versions. Sort of like how gardening works in FFXIV.
Berries work just like that in X and Y. If you grow different berries next to each other they will crossbreed and give different berries from the ones you planted

Minor correction. Mystery Gift on Gen 2 doesn't require Pokemon Events. All you would do is have 2 Gameboy Colors with Gen 2 games and point their IR Sensors at each other while using Mystery Gift in each game. That would give you a random item per day you did it. Miracle Berries have a 1% chance of being obtained.

About the MiracleBerry in G/S/C, you can obtain that from the 'Mystery Gift' option on the Stadium 2.

You can cheat the E-Reader if you have a high resolution printer with gloss paper which is like 5$ for 100 sheets and a E-reader printing program. Great way to get the eon ticket on your copies of pokemon or the berries you talked about being impossible to get. Happy printing c:
according to the pokemon crystal disassembly, celebi can hold a miracle berry. I don't really know my way round that code base, but in celebi's base stat file the line 'db NO_ITEM, MIRACLEBERRY ; items' is included, which I can't tell the % chance from, but it is there.

Next, Catch all pokemon in Sword and Shield... ah of course... YOU CAN'T
Gen 3 had 42 Berries not counting the Enigma Berries from E-reader cards. Although the last 7 were insanely rare, they are the 5 Stat Raising Berries only available through Mirage Island for Liechi Berry & the Orre Games for tons of Pokecoupons for the Salac, Petaya, Apicot, & Ganlon berries. Then there were the Emerald Battle Frontier Exclusive Lansat & Starf berries. Then Gen 4 reduced all Enigma berries to Enigma Berry, & made the 17 type related berries along with the other 4 Event Berries mentioned. I'm curious as to how hard it would be to get all berries on Gen 4, Gen 5, & Gen 6 games as that wasn't mentioned in the video. Lastly Roseli Berry was added for Fairy Type in Gen 6.

13:26 I've been growing HUNDREDS of Liechi Berries (and rare berries from that mystery gift) on Poké Pelago over the past year. If anyone wants any, reply to this comment!
Some of the super rare berries in Sun/Moon were given to me by trade and I didn't know hahahah and I planted them like crazy, so now I have a bunch of berries... Gosh, I don't feel accomplished now lol
