Catching all Pokemon in Pokemon Black and white is a total nightmare. It took me literally 4 months to do it. Also, you deserve recognition from gamefreak to do such crazy challenges.
Its not possible anymore sadly, since there are dream world related medals that can no longer be obtained. Theres also one that requires you to connect with 29 other games at once which is also damn near impossible unless you have a lot of money to waste.
There are a few medals that are impossible and some that are nearly impossible. You have to pass by 1000 people using the c-gear and get 100 people in join Avenue. There is also everything to do with the dream world through global link which is no longer online which means 4 medals are unobtainable.
@@itzgladgatorgonegladitzmad9701 This is emulator only, and you'll need checkpoint + homebrew to copy your save file, but someone recently made it possible to tuck your pokemon in. That's one medal down. Another few involving catching pokemon in the entree forest requires the same thing, but also a save editor. The ladder is absolutely NOT legitimate, but I admit, it's nice to see the forest populated and I was happy to catch the Arceus I was robbed from as a kid (someone stole my PGL account).
I hope he does! There are some now unobtainable because DW is bye-bye a go-go, but he still did the Ribbon one even though there are unobtainable ones too.

@@RandalfElVikingo But the BW national dex includes the Emerald National Dex as well as all Pokemon from DPPt and BW. The only reason it was so quick in this video is because he caught them before. Is there something I'm missing?
@@commentingcommenter1230 You can get like 208 Pokémon in one single copy of Emerald, but trading the remaining Pokémon is a whole different story if we're not counting the GameCube games. Trading is a slow way to fill a dex compared to transfer six of them in one blow.
@@RandalfElVikingo Fair point, there's also the fact that getting starters in those games is a pain too. I won't be testing it, but I wonder if trading is slower than 6 at a time transferring because of difference in Pokemon needed.

7:18 it’s important to remember Glameow. It’s only available in Pearl by Gen 5. I completed the National Dex on B2 back in the day and I still remember having to buy a copy of Pearl for Glameow only.
It's actually available in White 2. There's a Funfest mission that replaces all Grotto Pokemon with Glameow. Idk why, but it does. In Black 2, it's instead a Stunky mission.

Would you consider doing this for B2W2? I'm not sure how different the cards are or if the challenges are much different either but I think a lot of us would love to see it!
Now, you just gotta do this in the japanese BW2... where Medal Rally is a requirement... jokes aside, BW2 isn't too terrible in the non japanese versions for 5 stars.
Man, I've tried to complete all the pokéstar movies and I'm sure that the musical can be a walk in the park compared to how many times a movie is screwed up by a move that missed, a critical hit or the strange directions that sometimes are given.
For april fools 2022 you should make one of these for sword/shield, there's only 7 stars and you have 5 after beating leon lmao, the last 2 are for beating isle of armor and galarian star tournament
Gen 5 is the best. Not because it has the best story, or the most effort put into it, no no no. It's because you can put the phrase "IMPOSTER AMOONGUSS" on your Trainer Card.

I would really be interested in seeing a catch-em-all or some other challenge for a Mystery Dungeon game. Catch em all may be too boring though. In the Explorers of Darkness game, I noticed a lot of damaging items that you can throw, and I would be interested in seeing a play through where you only attack with items or maybe only items+basic attack? Idk I think a no-moves playthrough would be challenging and interesting to see!
I’ve always thought that it’d be cool if the trainer card colors are choosable. The stars could remain the same, but maybe someone likes that blue or red card they get at the start and not that gold card at the end. I feel like the stars alone would be enough to represent your accomplishments without being forced to be at a certain color.
The Generation V games relied on the Dream World for all of the Pokémon you can't find on either BW or B2W2 and we saw how well that decision panned out now that the servers are gone: You NEED the Gen 4 games to complete the Dex, lots of Berries are straight up unaccessible, the Join Avenue went from extremely useful to dead weight and the achievement medals in B2W2 are straight up impossible to complete.
