Excellent short and precise walthrough of the strike matrix. Bookmarked as reference for whenever this comes up in discussions 😊

Yet another superb demonstration Simon…. I recognise most of those strikes, however, not quite as adept as you at delivering them on demand 🧐😂

What is best way to work on strike point. I consistently hit Driver on toe side. Good video. Thx

You need feedback to dial it in - get some power based spray (athletes foot spray works well), spray the face before each shot and you will see where you are striking it and can see what affects strike point to centre it more often

That was good. Tee height would be an interesting variable to throw into the mix.

I have seen people mention tee height for altering strike location, but in any videos I have seen about it, it doesn't make the difference you would hope

I hit up on the ball anywhere from 7-10 degrees and I use a 3.25 tee. I hit it high, usually 15 - 17 degrees but I get good distance for my 100 - 103 swing speed. However, I rarely get a ball speed above 150. Would it be better to tee it a little lower to reduce my height but increase my ball speed or am I better off with the high launch low spinner to maximize distance? On trackman I'm usually optimized for carry but not for total and ball speed and height seem to be the issue

If spin is low enough then the high launch/low spin flight will be best for both carry and total yardage but if you launch or spin it too high then you will lose run out. If you cannot reduce head loft to optimise spin then dropping the angle of attack a little is the only route to lower flight

@@Precision_Golf Thanks! I'm playing my driver at 6.5 degrees and I get good spin but sometimes it's a little low but I think I get away with it because I launch it high.
